Loco, thanks for the response! I chose Lock as a Silver mod. Would this help with the downside of ranged distance? Also, this build I am tooning up. No Battle Stance. Does this still hold true, "damage mods on BFG and the buff Battle Stance." Will use BFG buff with AW if this still holds water! What about BS? Baneful Smite...a pure spell like RP or spell/ranged capabilites of sorts? I remain, Etherian

I've been thinking about BFG & AW + BS. Does the BFG buff couple with AW or BS at all? I know BFG buff works with all ranged weapon attacks. ie: throwing knives, stars and the like. I also understand that AW is a spell, but in the coding is AW & BS considered a ranged attack or simply a spell with ranged capabilites? Thanks for any tid bits of information! Hands down the most psychological trauma comes from the spiritual manifestation sub-genre. We all know how we feel after watching, "The Exorcist" as this movie has widespread appeal & is well known. Lady luck is fickle...or is she? I also have noticed this occurance. I complete all side quests in a given area. Recieve many set/unique drops. Move forward to slaughter the Guardians, in the end, come out empty handed. But, this also can become warped to a point. As I have farmed Guardians for such items and find many at times. Complete many sidequests in a region and recieve experience/gold. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to this madness. Or is there? I remain, Etherian

haha, definetly a lurker. Not the in and out variety either. I recall spending 3 days total in the lurking position hiding behind a tree dressed in camoflauge with face painted. 3 days of non-stop reading with a hinge of investigation. Felt a bit like Sherlock Holmes there for a time. Steward Pipe the whole works. Couldn't find the trench coat though. After loosing the last leg of my shoping network last night. I am searching to reach higher heights. After talking it over with Loco & Furian, I agree it is time to establish a primary toon once again. I took Soldats Celestial Technobabe to level 65 & lost her to a mob of fen fires while being stabbed in the back by a few blood dryads as well. That is old news now...would like to move onto an updated version of the same build concept. With the advent of Ice & Blood there have been many changes which is beginning to spawn a few amazing updated build write-ups. Perhaps this will be the first installment of a new updated Technobabe rough lay-out. Time will tell... A couple skill choices which I feel are mandatory to be fully updated and applied to counter these changes with Ice & Blood. Ancient Magic & Spell Resistance soldats original skill allocation... 02- revered technology lore[75] 03- celestial magic lore[75] 05- revered technology focus[75] 08- celestial magic focus[75] 12- armor lore[75] 18- constitution[75] 25- shield lore[1] 35- warding energy lore[1] 50- combat discipline[75] 65- toughness[75] I have been pondering swaping constitution with Ancient Magic. Taking Spell Resistance over combat discipline. With a tri defensive skill tree: armor lore, shield lore & warding energy lore. This could possibly replace the need for constitution altogether? Swaping combat discipline with Spell Resistance would really work wonders vs. LL% casters, fen fires, etc. Lastly, simply take toughness in place of warding energy lore. Moving warding to the 10th skill. I do not intend to use warding buff till end game for which regens will benefit greatly. What does the family think? Any thoughts? Concerns? Opinions? Suggestions? ahh Loco what a fantastic write up in which what had happened! I still feel it seemed very much like the 1 hit kill bug found in the Crystal Plains region up to the NorthWest. I also feel you have alot of weight in that I must have been just on the very edge of your beautiful purple xpulse. I feel she was very lucky the night before with not coming back as a red skeleton. This JUGGERNAUT of a boss was to much for our little pelting heroine. She was certainly a damsil in distress when the event horizon called yet another victim. R.I.P. @ level 61 shopper/queen of blades. Turns out she never actually got her crown of Ancaria jewels. Died an instant death as a princess. I remain, Etherian

I have this option off, as it was part of the recipie creating multi-crashes. Yes it does snow every now and then on Christmas Island, just completed that quest day before yesterday again. It also snows sometimes in the Crystal Plain region, far far into the region up toward the Crystal Phoenix. Beware of this region though! I remain, Etherian

With the proper skill placement, insainly fast regen times ~0.5-0.8~, moded correctly for how you plan to use AW, this CA can do massive amounts of single target damage. Just LOVE this CA for it's single target slaughtering capabilites. I remain, Etherian
