  1. If the publisher is CDV it's the US version, if it's Deep Silver it's the UK version (assuming it's in English). Though I'm sure there was a thread around here somewhere on how to install Ice and Blood on the US version of Sacred 2.
  2. Yup, this came up in the beta & it works the way it does for the reasons above. It would be massively unfair if the Inquisitor could effectively never die while the Doppleganger was still alive.
  3. It's finally been fixed, after ~5 weeks...
  4. Has there been any news on Mythos/beta/etc?
  5. Nice! Out of interest, what did you do?
  6. The only thing that DS have said is that it's being released for both PC & Console (that & Guido Eickmeyer is going to be the lead on it).
  7. Bah! There's nothing more glamorous than call volumes, bandwidth charges, Ofcom determinations & the like...
  8. No, those numbers wouldn't change with Tactics Lore. My understanding is that % bonuses aren't affected by Lores (generally). Claudius, I'd expect that CD would boost the "et_damage_any_rel" amount, though I don't know if it would be multiplicative or additive. I tried working out how CD boosts damage but couldn't get anywhere.
  9. I felt the same about Sky (though the Knowledge pack, rather than the sports) until we had to get rid of it on an economy drive. Though we'll probably get it back again when they kids get a bit older.
  10. From work: Though for some reason the server it picked was up near Manchester (bearing in mind that I'm south of London)... And from a random server in London:
  11. Married people? Granted mine are at opposite ends of the room...
  12. Yup, when I whinged about it in the beta I was told that BE gets a damage bonus for ranged weapons (rather than more hits).
  13. I've finally had some positive movement on this, it appears that when our bit of BT's network was moved over to 21CN the Sacred 2 traffic was classed as encrypted bit torrent traffic (note to self, that won't work anymore. Not that I ever dl'd anything *whistles innocently*) & therefore was being throttled/de-prioritised (the old 20CN network wasn't intelligent enough to do that), so the bloke I spoke to has/will put the wheels in motion to get the traffic for Sacred 2 correctly classified... Though that may take a few weeks to work its way through BT's bureacuracy...
  14. From the point of view of regen times, probably, but don't forget that if you have no (or low level) Focus skills you'll end up with low level CAs which won't be as effective. Assuming that you're aiming for level 200, your "max" level CA should be around ~50 or so. If you then have a level 300 Focus, that would add another ~60 levels or so to your max CA level. Regarding Combat Discipline, it would only affect the bonus damage that Demonic blow gives you. So if your weapon was doing 100 damage & DB says it does 150, Combat Discipline only boosts the +50. For the non-weapon-based CAs Combat Discipline (eg, Killing Spree) will boost all of the damage.
  15. It should be on the consoles, there weren't many item modifiers added in the various PC patches (Direct Damage springs to mind) & no, it wouldn't help with block since it's anti-evade.
  16. Randomly generated items can have some very odd mods, though it's a bit odd that one of the CM mod's set items has that mod since I thought that the mods on those set items were placed there specifically by the CM mod guys.
  17. I tried starting Sacred 2 with Xfire & Xfire refuses to do anything, no overlay in-game (despite hitting the Scroll lock & X keys), no video recording, or screenshots, or anything. I've edited the registry for the key that it was using to try & find Sacred2.exe automatically (it was trying to find my beta install), still no overlay or anything, despite Xfire knowing Sacred 2's there & starting Sacred 2 from Xfire...
  18. Yes claudius, though only the first mod (since I only had one free mod point). No, Shuriken don't appear to get double hits with BE even when modded for them.
  19. I'm sure you've all heard of the Mandlebrot set, I now present to you the Bunglebrot set... For those outside of the UK, Bungle is/was a character from Rainbow, a kids tv show from the 70s/80s (ish).
  20. Yeah, Sacred 2's installed on my D: drive. I'll see what happens this evening.
