  1. For what it's worth, if Windows Vista and 7 can come with a currency exchange rate gadget, I'm sure banks/credit card companies can figure out how to convert currencies and how much to charge in US dollars. Nothing to worry about...
  2. FYI... There's an icon in the upper right portion of their page that allows you to switch the language - the default is German, but it also comes in English... The link to the page in English is http://www.megadev.info/EN/Tools-mdt-Tools...ameManager.html Looks like it might be a promising tool.
  3. Found a new, yet unmentioned graveyard! It's to the east of Blade Fields in the Orc region. There's bonus stuff there too..! There be a Star Trek egg there... Both are already up on the wiki page..
  4. have you seen monty pythons the holy grail.... all rabbits are evil and must be killed Indeed... You need a Holy Handgrenade of Antioch.
  5. OK.. OK.. Here's my 2 cents worth - High Elf with Pyro and Delphic Arcana. Done right, she's quite easy to get through the bulk of the game - especially if you dump a bunch of points into Arrant Pyromancer Focus and Delphic Focus to keep the regens real short. Hook her up with a nice lifeleech bow and she's good to go. Mass quantities of damage to mobs.. Just look at what Woody did with his HE shopper... Pay attention to the pics toward the end.. http://darkmatters.org/forums/index.php?sh...c=16678&hl=
  6. And there's the other wabbit slayer quest in Sacred 2 - at the south end of Black Oaks in Artamark - whewe the wasscally wabbits are weaking havoc on the guy's cwops.. hehehehehehehehe {/elmer fudd} That reminds me.. where'd I put that MP3...?
  7. Sure... Only if you're playing Sacred 2 on a PC... They're not compatible with the Xbox 360 nor the PS3.. Sorry.
  8. Maybe you got frustrated because the big rabbit with the "?!" running around won't talk to you? There's a line before the quest that one of the NPCs utters about "Talk to the rabbit" and you tried to do so?! nah its just on the mini map they actually appear as enemies so I decided to kill them (how a rabbit compares to a shaman or a wild boar or even xanthia is beyond me, but hey their enemies nonetheless) There's a quest associated with the rabbits.. The gardener in the northern side of the temple grounds wants you to whack the rabbits cause they're eating his flowers. Might wanna have a chat with the old boy..
  9. Time for yet another update... Last night, I had problems loading my level 71 Seraphim... Again... Guessing she was being a bit tempermental... So I pulled out my Inquisitor mainly because I wanted to see how a few quests work out on the dark side. I got him past the Orcish Byway quests and off to the Orc territory. Lo and behold I came across the shadow version of the Master of the Hunt quest chain. Wound up doing it and documenting it on the wiki.. Also found the opportunity to snag a better pic of the Ogre Shaman Brartislartfass - which I've uploaded and updated on the Douglas Adams page.
  10. Guessing someone dug down deep and found it - and voted for something without posting.
  11. My most useless: The inquisitor's God spell.. What's the point of summoing a Sakkara demon when you can only control the bugger for such a short time before he goes ballistic on YOU? Let's say you're up against one of the nasty dragons in the dragonsea area. You're in too deep and need some help. So you summon the demon. He's good for maybe 40 seconds under your control. He does a bit of damage to the dragon, then he turns on you. Now you're stuck blasting away at the dragon, and then you've got to also whack the demon. Can anyone say "out of the frying pan and into the fire.."?
  12. There is a tombstone referring to Lorimor in the room where he is waiting and one referring to Pyx in the NE corner of the main room with all the sarcophogi. I think there is a latin or other language inscription on the marker in the NW corner as well. Welp.. I went through the area last night. Managed to find a bunch of stuff. It's up on the wiki http://www.sacredwiki.org/index.php5/Sacre...Lair_of_Orpheus
  13. Yeah.. Tho that's kinda the way they're set up at the moment. Click the link above the picture and you're taken right where you're supposed to go. On another note... I seem to have found a Star Trek easter egg... Yes.. that's right - a Star Trek, not Star Wars, Egg.. In Enturag, there stands a statue to an Orc by the name of Worf Thornclaw. I kinda figured the Orcs were a bit Klingon in their mindset...
  14. Gotta wonder if the last patch that takes you to 2.43 needs to come from Nvidia as well. The one I got came from the sacred wiki page...
  15. I think they need to hire a web designer while they're at it. Their history page is a royal PITA to read - Serif fonts at small point sizes are difficult to read.
  16. Add to that: What programs are you running in the system tray? What AV program do you have installed/running? Single player or multiplayer?
  17. And theres a bunch of tombs in the orpheus underground cave. There are a lot of sarcophogi (sp?) in Orpheus' cave.. But they haven't anything to say, if I recall correctly. Some might pop up the odd zombie, but they're of the braindead variety... Though, there is a stone that reads something to the effect of Orpheus has stepped out and leave a message and he'll get back to you kinda thing.
  18. I'm thinking the bulk of the Orc region can be put on one of those catch all pages. Sheesh.. I went through Enturag and Thrak and maybe found 1/2 a dozen graves in both cities. I'm going to put up a temp page - to see if it looks better than spreading them out on multiple pages.
  19. Oh yah... Those are in the cavern system that's part of the kill the minotaur quest found in the village with the winery. Though... I could have sworn they were both gargoyles.. I'll have to get another look later.
  20. I'd have to say it's a matter of perspective. Sounds like you two are simply blasting through the main quest and are leaving the side quests behind. The class quest for the high elf has some good bits to it, it's a pretty good story line up until you get to the last two parts. The Legendary item you get when you complete the final quest is OK.. Nothing uber cool to write home about. But... There ARE a lot of things you might want to consider doing - like the side quests. They often yield lots of easy experience points AND then there's the matter of the drops you get from completing the quests. You get set items and other special goodies that mobs and such just don't drop very often. Completing quests usually yields higher quality goodies. There's no good reason NOT to do it all. You will probably want to make it to a reasonably high level when you get to Gold.
  21. Well.. the human one is done - it's Arnemark's Refuge - it's west of Artamark's Gate. (note the different spelling - checked it 2x myself to make sure my eyes weren't totally fubar - they weren't). It's now up for perusal. LOTS of stuff in that one. The one I remembered from Enturag was a bit of a bust. Only one grave and not much of a marker on it, just a comment on how they went out of their way to make the statue as fugly as can be. Going to hit the other 2 cemetaries I know of off hand before morning. I know one of them have a number of graves in it.. haven't played around much in the other - but I'll be doing some more explorations tonite.
  22. I can't.. Don't have Ice and Blood - yet... It works through Fallen Angel though in single player. Lemme check multiplayer.. OK.. So it seems that the info in the OTHER post on the subject of this quest - Nouveau Varguz - Loco has it right. It's entirely different from single player mode. Where the single player mode has more pieces on the board, the multiplayer version had only 3.. And all 3 of them spawned ancestral ghosts. Now then.... Oddly enough, I went into the logs after the fact, and oddly enough, the quest was marked as SUCCESSFULY completed. Unfortunately, I closed the game before saving a snapshot of it. DOH! Ah well.. It's easy enough to reproduce. The quest is marked as successfully done, and yet, the text on the page was expressing the Serpahim's frustration for NOT being able to play the game as she gave up. I took a quick peek inside the locked off are - and I didn't see anything in there that looked like the quest goal. Oh.. And before I forget.. Got the OTHER cemetary around Artamark's Gate up - Arnemark's Refuge.
  23. Yes gogo, that is indeed the name. I forget the exact location, but it is in an Orc city with a monolith in the center of some town hall or something. There appear to be only two quests in the place--one to search the coast for some washed up fabric and this one. The quest in question starts when you talk to an Orc whose brother was the cheiftan and is now dead. The dead one was rich but has hidden all of his swag in a cave. Also, he had a great love of some game. You go to the cave and find a chess board ala Harry Potter. There are three NPC's waiting to talk to you and your quest log, at this point tells you to contact each of them. Only one has a circle around him on the minimap. No matter which NPC you click on, you will fail the quest. The name of the city is Tharak - it's north of Enturag. The quest is offered up by the new clan chief of the town. It seems his predecessor left some weird directions to where he stashed his loot. He wants you to go find it. So you follow the map indicator and there's a cave that fits the description. When you go in, there's a small path that leads to a chamber. The chamber contains an extra large chessboard. On it there are some people and things. Some of the people/things on the chessboard have an Exclamation point overhead. Kill off the rodents as they're just in the way. Now then, as of version 2.43.0, all you have to do is talk to the rook - the thing that LOOKS like a tower. It's sitting in the first row as you walk into the cavern. When you talk to it - it will move across the board about 3 - 4 spaces toward the other side and the quest indicator will go off, letting you know you've finished the quest. I've completed this quest quite a few times on 2.43... Everytime this quest pops up it seems it's the same sort of thing - the poster has Ice and Blood and no matter what he's done, he can't complete the quest. Maybe the guys behind the community patch might have a fix? Edit: Ok.. I've tried this in multiplayer and I've confirmed what everyone seems to have found. Sort of. The chess board IS indeed laid out differently. In LAN based multiplayer mode, there were exactly 3 pieces on the board. One female and one male Orc and one wild boar. When I entered the chamber, the male Orc alone had a circle around his exclamation point. The other two did as well. When I talked to the male Orc, the quest indicator went off and 3 Orc ghosts spawned. I killed the lot of them, talked to the girl Orc and same thing - 3 more ghost Orcs to kill. Lastly, I talked to the boar (yah.. sounds weird...) and 3 more Orc ghosts showed up for a beating. Now then, this is where things get interesting.. I looked inside the chamber. I did not see the single player target - the 59 best games book. In fact, besides a few chests and a rat, there wasn't much else in there. So I took a look at my log. And lo and behold, the quest was marked completed - SUCCESSFULLY! Er.. Holy Hannah!? So I read the log and it starts out pretty much the same way. Get the quest, go to the spot, oh.. look, there's the rocks, trees and pond.. Go inside and that's where the outcome changed. Apparently going in and talking to the one with the circle around the ! is the solution. The log said that this wasn't the right place after all. There was no sense in looking further and quest complete. Unfortunately, I didn't save the screenshot of said log - but it should be easy enough to duplicate. Edit 2: Went through the quest again in SP mode.. Gotta love the new chief's name.. Get this - Gintonic Icelump... OK.. So does that mean his parents were alcoholics to be naming their offspring after an adult beverage..?
  24. You know - the easiest way to get the Fashion Police trophy is to complete the Epic Office Quest. Benny Keyser drops the first ring when you talk to him in the swamp area. You get the 2nd half - Ellen's Commitment - when you complete the quest. Assuming, of course, that the PS3 has the Epic Office Quest...
