Not bad. I don't tend to dig gold hardware, but it's jiving with that finish.

I started a photo a day for a year project the day after my birthday this year. Feel free to peruse what I've been posting here on my livejournal - http://ankhanu.livejournal.com/ I'm largely shooting with a Nikon D80, which I primarily bought so my wife could pursue a career in portraiture. That kinda fizzled out and the camera wasn't getting a lot of use. The project has made me not be lazy and just use the damn thing, with some (imo) good results I'm expanding my skills and practicing my eye, and just using the expensive piece of equipment. Just a note, except where I say otherwise, the only photo editing I do is to resize the image for upload; no touch-ups, no cropping, no filtering, etc. I shoot what I shoot and that's that

Yeah, it's been a while Kel's doing well, and we still only have the one girl, she's 8 now, and we just had our 9th anniversary on Wednesday! Ya know, we spot a Sacred expansion, I think, but never the actual game itself... but when we see it, we think of you guys and consider getting it. I think Kel's system might run it ok, it runs Fallout 3 well enough. We'll see what happens

Playing Montreal is vaguely possible... in a way I'm in a different band than I was last time I was on here; if I do say so, it's somewhat better (Joe Costello & the High Tide). We were just in the studio last night recording a few more demo tracks (I used the two guitars pictured), hopefully they'll be ready soon. Unfortunately, our drummer lives in Newfoundland and Joe and I are both parents, so arranging any kind of tour is a bit of an issue. We do have plans to play in the Atlantic provinces anyway. As for Cth, as far as I know, he's still out in Alberta; he hasn't really kept in touch with anyone here, I generally only get updates from his mom, and no marriages have gone down

Most of my goodies have been music purchases as of late. In January, I bought a Fender Jaguar '66 Classic model And about 2 weeks ago, I bought a shortscale, 6-string E-e tuned bass, a Schecter Hellcat VI

I created mine in 1996 or 1997, combining the words ankh and inconnu; I just liked the phonetics of it. By a slight stroke of serendipity, it ends up having a decent meaning as well, combining the meanings of the two words; with the ankh being the symbol of life and immortality in Ancient Egypt, and inconnu meaning hidden, or an unknown person or thing. Combining the two you end up with hidden life or something of the sort.

Despite the fact that we've had cold, wet weather for the past 2.5weeks, it's not always winter here, despite the wintery Google Earth shots. Cth lived a little north of my place in the second pic.

I sent you a reply in-game the other day, Cykes. Long and the short of it: We're currently doing a set overhaul, getting more level 100+ sets and dropping some <50 sets... and we always ask before taking equipped items.

I got an email late last week accepting me into the beta. There's a NDA, so I can't talk about any specifics or what have you, but so far it's pretty nice, and HOMM-y. They're not screwing it up

Yeah, TH is a good one to max out. Even if you're not buying gear, you can buy FSP in the marketplace.

A member just left our guild, so if either of you is interested in joining, we can get ya in... but yeah, you'll still be buying Doublers from other people. The people I have as Enemies are all buffers with doublers x3 or x4 <10k

The little punks part, yeah, that sucks Gotta find a guild of good people. As for the taxes and holding a guild item in your inventory, they're not such high prices to pay for access to equipment, buffs and guild structures. Most will only require holding on to a single item, unless you agree to hold more (I've spent FSP to get 5 BP slots and hold 2 guild items for mine). With the taxes and gold donations, well, when you have access to guild owned equipment, you need a lot less gold anyway. The taxes and donations go towards maintaining the guild structures that give you various stat bonuses; they cost the guild x gold/hour to maintain. All in all, its a small trade off to improve your game somewhat. I found once I joined a guild and gained its bonuses my stamina use was much more efficient, killing creatures in fewer hits and being able to take out bigger monsters than I could without the guild benefits... The guild I'm in, The Lost and Lonely Ones, has been pretty reasonable. There are one or two players I'm not keen on in the guild, but several players who are pretty keen; Myles is in the guild now too. We're currently full, but a couple members may be getting kicked out soon for not following the rules... so a slot may open for you if you're interested. Cykes is in a different guild and it seems to be treating him pretty well... you might want to talk to him for more details on what they're like.

Genenut; you should really consider joining a guild, it will improve your stats and make levelling a lot easier

I've been doing the daily 500 since I posted... but I think I'm out. There's no point to the game really; I can spend time better. I've donated my gold and my ruby to the guild. Feel free to kick the account.
