  1. I'll have to 2nd that - camera angles in caves bites big wind. It's like without fail, you get dumped into a cave and there's a section of wall right there in the way - of course, some baddy is wailing on your behind and you can't see what's going on to do anything about it. Really HATE when that happens. Don't get me started on that, you're completely surrounded and taking hits and you're trying to get the right angle to fire off your CAs or hit back. It's my biggest gripe about Sacred 2. I'd like to just go through one cave without having to change the camera angle a million times!
  2. Well I must mention that I picked the Seraphim as my favorite character as shes propably the most flexible toon in Sacred 2. The TG is propably the most hopeless character in Sacred 2, maybe it's my style of play but it doesn't seemed to be a good choice for either combat or magic use. If they do a Sacred 3 I hope they sort out the camera angles in caves etc. As they really suck big time.
  3. Going with the builds that other people have made is OK, but may not fit in with my own play style. So I tend to go with my own builds with some elements of the builds done by the pros, if it don't workout that well I start over and try something else. That's the good thing with Sacred 2, you can always come up with new ideas.
  4. That makes sense, I found one in Elf capital after completing all quest in that region. But I think I know the thread you are talking about, I think it was mentioned that it gets harder to find them as you go up in lvls, may be wrong though.
  5. ROFL! Hilarious! Isn't that the same guys who made the parking garage lightsaber fight video? @S-P: Bargaining doesn't have to be twice your level, but it does look like it needs to be kept above your level. I don't know the exact probability curve, but I'm not taking any chances - I keep my bargaining maxed and give priority to items with +to all skills or +bargaining. Collecting lightsabers becomes a full time character strategy, because you have to make some sacrifices in other areas. You do it because you love the video and sound effects, and the Star Wars connection, not because you want to make an uebercharacter. Good to know, but my 26 level seraphim has now got bargaining at 20 points above level through relics/plus all skill items. I've only found the one sabre in Thylysium, no luck anywhere else. But I'm going to get more, its got to have a certain amount of luck involved.
  6. Well, I like to be uber sure I can get those sabers; so my Inquisitor has 70 bargaining at character level 15 I take it you have a lot of socketed 'all skill' items?
  7. I heard somewhere you need to get bargaining skill double character level is this true? I've only managed to get it 10 lvls above my character level.
  8. Yes, I'm playing Ice & Blood and they are hard to come by.
  9. They seem to be pretty scarce, I've got one with my seraphim shopper at level 15 and I've not seen another one since. I need two for my dual wield seraphim.
  10. Ranged attack might work, or try to lure them out of the mist. Get ones attention then run back out of the mist until you get control back and kill it.
  11. Nope, I've not had any problems there in SP mode, did have a small pause with my ice HE using Raging Nimbus but then plan sailing. Does using CAs cause the lag or just fighting in that area?
  12. I would go with Stalworth Safeguard, that one gives you some bonus armor against elemental damage and decreases secondary effects and an increase to survival bonus. That or Glacial Defender the damage mitigation bonus is pretty good.
  13. I thought the great machine was draining all the T-Energy from the world so you had to stop it, but I could be wrong.
  14. Doesn't Darting Assault work in those situations, as it randomly attacks nearby enemies. But with a Seraphim Radiant Pillar and Flaring Nova works ok.
  15. Actually that's a good idea, never thought of it before.
  16. I thought as much, I guess I'll stick with Silver.
  17. Not long ago lost my 70 level Seraphim, and setting up a new SW. Just about to switch it to Silver as I usually do when building a new toon. And that made me think about Bronze, is it actually worth going through Bronze or is Silver the better option?
  18. I'd go with sword weapons, the benefits out weigh the loss of a skill slot. Dropping Combat Reflexes would be your best option as you've got the other important ones.
  19. Er... I could have sworn she says "That was fun, or would you disagree USER"... She seems to be more interactive with the person behind the controls than the other characters. I could be wrong tho... I'll have to crank the volume up a bit and listen a bit closer... At any rate, she reminds me of a cross between the old Battle Mage from Sacred 1 and a Jewish American Princess - "I'm a fragile high elf - how am I supposed to carry THAT?" He too was quite cocky for his britches at times. It's my favourite quote, but it could be user, but I prefer loser. Well.. Ok.. If you must.. But if you think about some of the other things she says - something to the effect of "Congratulations Player, the quest compass has helped you arrive at your destination..." - you can see what I'm talkin' about. I know what you mean, but there are times when shes talking to the enemy when she says something like "cut it out, or I'll turn you into a torch human". Anyways some of it is quite funny, especially the Evil HE.
  20. Damage is also effected by the elemental mod as well as physical damage, you also need to take into account the enemies own defenses I.e. if bow has lava chunk (fire Damage) and enemy has some resistants to fire it would do less damage than say a Blowpipe with magic pearl (magic damage). But Ravaged Impact basically does 100% damage of the equipped weapon.

  22. Can't help you there, as I've never used disarm always use battering. But I would imagine it only works on normal enemies and not with bosses.
  23. Well Podgie pretty much somes it up, but I would suggest putting Soul Hammer and Pelting strikes into a combo, they work well together.
  24. Well I play a Seraphim most of the time, but for actual personality I'd go with the HE. She tends to be very confident of her abilites with good reasons as she could level a small town with her magic abilities. 'That was fun, or would you disagree loser' Always liked that.
  25. Only ranged weapon mastery give increased attribute bonuses, other weapons get double hit chances.
