  3. Release notes: # The survival bonus will increase at a slower rate. So that's it when you are not dead for 40 level it won't be 60% but 40%. It is clear enough I think. What you get from SB is not changed. But after playing for 50 level undead , it will be like playing on 30 level in 2.34
  4. It says only for ranged weapons the attack rating for example so for melee is useless I think too.

  6. Yeah, good point to distinguish from Titan Quest. But on the other side I could speak about Diablo II. It has worst drops than any other game and it was intended especially for battle.net to further increase game lifetime. Of course, things are not as bad as TQ but I really want them back to where they were (I remembered now also the random unique of Sacred2, which has been removed and that was also a good thing - know what to find)
  7. It makes it easier after all (you are not unbeatable), that is what you are saying. To make the game easier, with whatever that means, will make it to end sooner Sacred has the good of many variation upon playing a single char which makes it to last longer. Having to search for items will expire the game lifetime. A good balance is the best here , not to have crap all times, not to have good drops all the time
  8. Yes, Dobri it will make the game boring. If all of us will get the items, then there is no need for trading,bargaining (maybe), enhanced perception, farming bosses, equip jewelery with chance to find valuables and playing for survival bonus (not to be dead). This will make the game to come to an end sooner or later. Back in Titan Quest day I had a drop-mod in single player where I could find all uniques / set of all game. It took me a week if I remember. I equip my characters right away and that what left to interest me was level up. No anxious about drop => Boring
  9. It is too early to come to this conclusion in my opinion. In this case , some things like to some of us, and those things are awfull for others. I think that you could find other things to like. You will get used to it I think, if you really like the game at first place.

See, I told all of you, I got many set items yesterday! http://darkmatters.org/forums/index.php?sh...t&p=6838086 The quests are random I did some side quests different every time Well this is paradise , but it should be fixed ASAP P.S: Since I am at work behind firewall, I cannot see the official forum. So , please if there is any news from there please post. I strongly advise you to tell there in a moderator about the bug, I would do it if I could! We could loose our interest for the game from such a bug I think

  17. Shield lore. Many here are saying Devine Devotion is useless. Riding is usefull only if you are playing mostly on open-air. But if you do all quests + dungeons, you won't need that much.
  18. Nice Dobri... You could think that this build (but leave out the Warrior Focus and its CAs), it is a build based on Astral as primary + Malevolent as a support (with party modding of course in our case not self-centric). Instead of Warrior Focus, an additional General Skill or constitution would be good I think, except you think that Roushing Command is Vital for this build (if you could take also the buff from that Aspect it would make sense to me , but no 4-buff allowed ). In other words I think it is not worth it to take the Focus, for just one mid-time buff as Roushing Command. Great build, since we want to do something else than hack'n'slash all the time.

  20. Hi all, some notes and questions about choosing weapons for our characters. This post may be merged with this General Approach To Character Building The thing here is not what every character can use http://www.sacredwiki.org/index.php5/Sacred_2:Weapons but which of these and how we should use Dual Wield with Ranged,Swords,Hafted,Staves Seems the choice for every character that can have this skill. So it leaves out HE & TG. With Dual Wield you have: 1)Damage per second 2)More sockets than the pair of shield+one-handed weapon or two-handed weapons 3)All unique/legendary except some very specific do not have modifiers based on weapon lore 4)Can hold at the same level & speed a sword + hafted for example using just one skill Possibly drawbacks: 1)Combat arts based on one weapon only (I have seen this on my inquisitor with Callous Execution for example) 2)Loosing modifiers if one item has it Two-Handed with Swords,Polearms,Ranged,Staves All characters except TG With these: 1)Can do a serious damage in one-weapon based CAs (are there any two-weapon CAs after all)? Possibly drawbacks: 1)No many sockets , less that Dual Wield or one-weapon / shield pair One-Handed with Shield All characters except Inquisitor With these: 1)More defense 2)More slots from 2-handed, less than Dual Wield Drawback: 1)Less damage I have come to a quick conclusion: 1)Dual Wield wherever possible 2)HE with Shield (better than two handed) 3)Two-handed suck bit time, unless when used with CAs are more powerful. Until now, I have dual wielded only Inquisitor, but I might try Seraphim (polearm) and SW (hafted + shield) Fair Play - How should the items be fixed in order all choices to be equal 1)Add modifiers to all unique/legendary weapons and shields 2)A single weapon CA can executed twice only if regeneration time is less or equal than dual wield attack time 3)Add more sockets to 2 handed so as to be equal to dual wield and/or one-hand + shield
  21. Well what is missed here is some tricks, especially in early levels where +all skills are hard to find. If you know other tricks please post First of all, I think the 'enhanced' is not right, something like that is appropriate: 1. Enhance * -%regen time * +% chance for critical hits 1)Sharpen +% elemental (fire,ice,etc) damage ring. That will give bonuses to all elemental damage like putting a second 'sharpen' in the same slot. 2)Harden + % elemental (fire,ice,etc) armor ring That will give bonuses to all elemental armor like putting a second 'sharpen' in the same slot. 3)Play with the sockets to see which combination will give you more percentage.
