  1. Hope all work good for you Dobri, health matters are the most important.
  2. Today I will do my test with Ice & Blood before buying it. But, I expected you Dobri to say about the game-play overall (only mentioned 'Expert touch modification'), so until then, I am expecting to play the Dragon Mage for one-two weeks and that's it? Is there better items for looting? Are the new areas interesting?
  3. Either way it will be unfair for the new players not to have this 'advantage', don't you think?
  4. Too pity there is no Windows 7 64-bit official support as far as I can see. We have to play it in compatibility mode, like latest patch 1.43
  5. Wow we are looking forward ( I think expansion will be lower priority now, since a new game is more exciting)
  6. I did the shortcut modification with Compatibility mode and it is ok now. Many of my rings have changed in this patch (I am just confirming it) Sounds are different when activating buffs.
  7. I have the same crash on that same dll. The problem is that the sound make crackled noise and after I play 1-2 minutes it crashes to desktop\ Edit: http://forum.sacredeng.ascaron-net.com/sho...p;postcount=115 I found this since I do have Win7 64-bit 7201 build... but to shame, since no compatibility mode was needed with previous patch
  8. Wow new patch but I have this problem http://forum.sacred-game.com/showthread.php?t=66800 which is in German Forum. If I can understand I have to reinstall the game?
  9. I have to add to these that it is best to reduce the chance to be hit than to increase your defense. For my experience, when entering platinum, the more hitpoints will save you than more armor/defense attributes
  10. Most of my chars are with 2 aspects (primary and secondary) .... Expansion is a reason to play again ... after summer I think
  11. That is a feature I would like to see in next patch. A tooltip to show us the hard points.
  12. Look here the thread by me and @Dobi http://darkmatters.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=9715 Dryad example with Capricious Hunter (Primary) & Nature Weaver Aspects: Skills 1)Concentration 2)Tactics Lore 3)Capricious Hunter Focus 4)Constitution 5)Nature Weaver Focus 6)Ranged 7)Spell Resistance 8)Combat Reflexes Optional: 9)Shield Lore only if playing one hand weapon or Armor Lore (secondary) since many items for Dryad have modifiers for armor 10)Anything else except Cabalistic Voodoo Aspect and Nature Weaver Lore Combat Art 1: Ravaged Impact Combat Art 2: Darting Assault Combat Art 3 / Combo 3: Dust Devil and/or Forest Flight Combat Art 4 / Combo 4: Tangled Vine and/or Goldenglade Touch So , Nature Weaver Focus is a skill you have to get, to mod the Ancient Bark and Enhanced Perception. I mod also Tangled Vine for boss killing (to last longer and make their attack slow). You should put more points to Tactics Lore (up to your level) In general you have made a good character
  13. GOGO the links stats should be update as for patch 2.40: There is no restriction in entering a difficulty level other that to complete the main quest. For every difficulty along with the max level of mobs there are also the minimum mobs level: 1)Bronze- Silver level 1 2)Gold Level 41 3)Platinum Level 71 4)Niobium Level 101? (I have never went to Niobium yet ) Even though rushing is good , no matter what someone does, he could easily die when monsters are at 15+ level. So , I suggest to enter Gold at minimum level 35 and stay there until level 60. Also, for platinum you could stay from 60 to 90 level. At level 85-90 you are ready for Niobium
  14. When your character is at level 30-45, you could have your Combat Arts at level 20-30, depending on the regeneration time you like, the highest level without penalty (Aspect Focus Skill). At that time you will see that eating one more rune will increase the regeneration time of this CA , but will increase also the duration of the Combat Art. When you are beyond level 50 with your character, your focus skill will give you the ability to reduce further the regeneration time, and at the same time the level of your CA can be increased beyond 35 for example, where you will notice that eating one more rune, will may increase the regeneration time , but further increase the duration. For example: 1)Character level 30, Skill Focus Penalty 25, Frenetic Fervor level 20: CA Regen Time = 60 CoolDown+ 2.0s and Duration 30.0s Next Combat Art Level: CA Regen Time = 60 + 2.2s and Duration 30.1s (so Regen increased for 0.2 s and Duration 0.1s) Next Combat Art Level: CA Regen Time = 60 + 2.4s and Duration 30.3s (so Regen increased for 0.2 s and Duration 0.2s also) 2)Character level 40, Skill Focus Penalty 35, Frenetic Fervor level 30: CA Regen Time = 60CoolDown + 6.0s and Duration 33.0s Next Combat Art Level: CA Regen Time = 60 + 6.1s and Duration 33.1s (so Regen increased for 0.1 s and Duration 0.1s also) Next Combat Art Level: CA Regen Time = 60 + 6.1s and Duration 33.2s (so Regen is not increased at all and Duration 0.1s) Whether the regen time of the CA will increase is based on CA Level (it is fixed per level) and your character regenaration time skills, rings etc... which will reduce or increase the fixed of CA The Duration is only relative to CA (it is per level fixed) For example level 20 of Frenetic Frevor may have 60s CoolDown + 10.0s regeneration time, but your character may be good to keep it at 60 + 2.0s
  15. At early levels 30-45 with runes 20-30 you will be about the same meaning one rune will increase the regen but the level will increase the duration also. In some level those 2 will be equal and in higher level with good build the regen will be kept lower that rune level increase.
  16. I am at platinum now at level 57 ... with SW ... mobs are at level 79! So, it is hard there, but that what annoys me is that the XP I get is similar to level 66 (capped mobs of gold difficulty)! That is really unfair... if I can kill 22+ level up I could expect 3x-4x the XP I got from my similar level. So , there is no point going there , is it? I am at orks now. With the way I am doing the main quest I can assume I will be at max 65 before entering niobium, and I could tell that minimum level for niobium is 91.
  17. No, it won't go down but Relentless - Increases the duration of the Frentic Fervor. (33.3% increase) can give you the duration up to close 60 seconds, so you could have it up all the time
  18. He can die much easier than every one else. Needs hitpoints ASAP (especially if it is a melee build)
  19. I am an update maniac ... all advises are correct, about free space and ram , but since he plays well on SP, then I only advise to wait. The online server might do the issues
  20. Windows 7 RC installed here and Sacred 2 in it also
  21. Well a new patch (software) or a hardware change might trigger your interest again.. For me, for example , it will change a bit now that I have put it on Windows 7, because there I have the OpenAL now option and I want to hear all new sounds! All my Characters are getting to Platinum now (SC - only), so until I find hard to defeat, I keep playing ... though here in Greece summer is coming and mainly I go for swimming
  22. No, you can unlock it ... who said the opposite? Once you take one lore (Pyro) and put only 5 hard points, you are ready. You did not read my post carefully
  23. Nice build, a 3-buffed one, though I wonder if it is good to have the Arcania Lore in there, since you have not many points there, so cobalt strike will be weak. I have an ICE/ARCANIA build, where I use only Arcania Focus for Shadow Step + Expulsion Magic in a combo and Grand as my 2nd buff. I would drop Arcania Lore and take Spell Resistance or Combat Discipline for example. I have read that Fire Daemon is weak , so I might consider for going to 3-buffed ...
