    ahaha, you often show people flying around Hooyaah but personnaly I've never got this little 'bug'. The inscriptions on this ancient stone pillar must be very useful indeed. The Ancarian Universe... I wonder what was the goal of our beloved Creator when his Divine Breath beget this system. Hmm, let's see, where is Philios' Planet?

    Thanks Gogo At last a little contribution from myself. As for the Diablo 2 reference, I don't have it because I started playing D2 lately and never could get into it.

    This screen is epic. I think to remember (long time I haven't fight him) that he has a kind of whirlpool which can cause severe damage if you don't move. But fighting against him is not interesting at all indeed (even more when a summon run at kilometers from you and to find him, good luck..)

    Thanks Androdion, np One way I found (thanks to Flix I think to remember on another thread) is to edit an item, a ring here (he has this ring equiped twice), putting it a high SB value like 200% and fight. I will adjust this value, play, and according to the wiki page about SB ( http://www.sacredwiki.org/index.php/Survival_Bonus ) and the total time I've played with him, I will stop the edit on the rings when I will have reached an approx. value of the estimated SB value he got. Will be better than nothing.

    Can't the Character Editor modify the Survival Bonus? I have a high level HC char who died against the Abishai, resurrected him but for survival bonus...? Any advices to get the SB back to its valor would be appreciated (I won't let my pc running all the night against a kobold...) I don't even know the valor of the SB when he died (he was level 137). Thanks.

    Do you run sacred2.exe in admin mode? I think yes but just in case... I don't know sorry, never seen that error. On some threads I saw that some program may interfere but you have to do long and boring manip and not even sure if it will work, some were also talking about DNS but don't know.     hmm strange, I would have swear it would have worked. Doesn't your antivirus do firewall too? If you have one of these programs installed, try to deactivate them (found on another thread): *anti-virus/spyware, graphics overclocking tool or firewall related *PowerDVD (don't ask me why this one, apparently it can interfere) *Xfire *Punkbuster not in its latest version *check if Sacred 2 is really uptodate (should be 2.65.1 or 2.65.2) Else I don't know sorry.

    Hi Iron, I did a quick search and maybe it is related to your firewall. Try to momentarily deactivate it just to see if this is the problem. If this works, then you surely have to put a rule. Let's see.

    yes, I think I've tried everything (I used to run it flawlessly only on XP 32bits with the same hardware); I did everything mentionned in this thread http://darkmatters.org/forums/index.php?/topic/22823-sacred-2-gold-edition-freezes-after-50-mins-of-gameplay/&do=findComment&comment=6987687 exept putting memory management to 0 (I used different values) maybe I'll give it a try. Lowering graphic details, disabling Physx and all do nothing. The most unstable region for me is the Blood Forest (I can't do a step without a crash) but I've never experienced any stuttering problems in cities on the other hand. I think it's some sort of malediction: Sacred 2 was my most enjoyable game but never could properly play (I played a lot nevertheless on a server and saving often; all I can do).

    Personnaly I'm on Windows 7 pro 64bits and I've never managed to get Sacred 2 Gold (GoG version or steam) to work properly whatever I did (I've almost tried all I think); it keeps crashing (Sacred2.exe has ceased to function....), like Androdion said, sometimes after 5 minutes, sometimes 2, I think I can't get more thyan 30 minutes without a crash, very boring, while my pc runs like a charm for other games or whatever. I've even been burnt by a french forumer for having advised him to instal CM patch: he said his game was always crashing after the instal while it worked properly before, so...

    Modding must be indeed the best way to refresh the game: for example, modifying the policies, the musics, the camera (not only by the default options but with the optionscustom.txt which is by far more powerful),... to our tastes. Seeing wonderful screenshots and beautiful comments (like you know so well how to do Hooyaah) is for me another way to want to play again.

    Save your money! Do not upgrade your system for Skyrim! Sacred 2 is so much richer while Skyrim is so flat.

    These new sets and items are awesome, little bit cheated would someone say. Have you all of these regulary dropped or did you download these new items? one typo Glaurung/Galrung confusion. I love the unic namings of these items you can only find in Sacred I think.

    Great layout. Congrats for your level 200 HC! Have you beaten all the secondary bosses and did almost most of the most dangerous quests? (I think of Blood Forest and the Abishaï, Deamons, Dragons, ...). I think yes, and I will say Good Game!

    Hello everyone, if I can permit, I would bet that your antivirus is the cause, no? Sacred2update.exe is often seen as a false positive by certain antivirus. I guess your antivirus is putting the file in quarantaine or something so it's missing now. Do a fresh install and try to install the CM patch with antivirus/antimalware disabled to see if that helps. (do not worry it's really a false positive, the CM patch team would never put a malicious a program in the patch). Hope you'll be able to fully enjoy Sacred 2! (you can install too the Items Mod 1.2a Hotfix made by Flix for the install to be complete). Good luck.
