IIRC, Sacred 2 on xbox was infamous for hacking. As for console mods, I never heard of any. OFC, what's a hack vs a mod might be subjective to some.

On console, all slots are the same. On PC, weapon slots are on the left, CA on the right and buffs in the right corner.

Wow, this is a surprising mod. Almost an un-mod mod. This is right up my alley. I've never been a fan of mods, in any game. Flix, you are a treasure to the Sacred 2 community.

Welcome aboard! I say start with CM (mandatory IMO) and see how it goes. You can always add more later.

Escort quests can be a pain. IIRC, you can heal NPC's with potions and CA's (e.g. Hallowed Restoration). You might also check the wiki for the specific quest. The write-up there might have tips.

Exactly right. My two nephews are XBOX guys and I do Playstation. We all play D3, but can't hook up. With D4, I should be able to play with you guys on PC and them on XBOX.

They're planning for cross-platform, so that's a most definitely!

Hmm, interesting... A strong maybe. Have to see how a melee Rogue looks vs battle-mage Sorcerer.

The biggest hurdle I see (excluding Steam, don't know much about that one) is getting the input devices to talk only to the current instance of Sacred 2. I wonder if using VM's would help? I guess that might also help with Steam, depending on what it's checking.

Interesting question. I've had two games running before, but never tried to have them both active at the same time (I just ALT-TAB between them). IIRC you can play in windowed mode, but I don't know about getting both active to receive user input.

You can see the golden brown plantains around the edges of my bowl. Plantains (green & ripe) appear frequently in my kitchen. I can't recall the last time I did anything with a white potato.

I fry the plantains. I slice them about 1/4-3/8" and fry in a cast iron skillet. Five minutes per side and serve. I end up with something that vaguely resembles home fries.

My riff on poutine (which I've never even seen IRL). Green plantains, mushroom gravy and extra-sharp cheddar.

Blizzard announced it in November 2019. I don't expect anything before late 2021 at the earliest. It's hard to believe by my laptop is from 2013. Next year will probably be time for a new.

gogo, we probably still have a long while before D4 actually materializes. There hasn't been any word of an official release date. Their annual BlizzardCon will be in February. I guess that would be the first time there's even a chance of an official date. If I'm still alive when it's released, I'll be up to hook up with the FDM crowd. SC/HC, I'm willing to follow the crowd.

I see that they're planning on controller support for PC, so I might go that way. Keyboard/mouse are my biggest objections to D3 on PC, and I'm not keen on the idea of paying a sub to play D4. Blizzard is planning on HC, and I'm wondering how that's going to work in a public MP game. My little experience with public D3 games reinforced the stranger-danger concept. They may have only enforce HC in private instances.
