/cry all done for the day @ Wygram - the beta's are totally CPU dependent so low fps should be fixed once they start using GPU's to run graphics. It was suggested to run everything at minimum settings seeing as how none of them make a difference at this point. Was fun hanging with you guys again. Cant wait till next BWE. Cheers & *hugs* Kiy

I was lucky enough to find 3 banners the entire weekend all on my last day. they gave you skills on the skill bar and mostly were to help your entire party, don't remember exactly what. I had seen them several times over the weekend, but wasn't till the last day I thought about picking one up.

I found the ultimate Jumping spot... Made especially for crazy's like us. spent the last few hrs I was in beta here jumping off. Sure wish ya all were with me *hugs*

Anet has said there are no dedicated healers, everyone is responsible for their own health. Also there isn't a need to party unless you feel like it, everyone can participate without being in an actual party.

I'm having fun playing D3. The Monk and Witch Doctor are my two faves currently. I do find something comforting in being able to smash so much in the game. Murphy struck again tho... Beta down for server maintenance and I'm off all day ><. DaveO I've only played Solo so far so I can't comment on the Community. I would think that... it's probably not much different then Wow's community base(which I'm not a big fan of) Also, I'm sure we are getting a very small portion of what D3 will ultimately be, or at least that's what I'm hoping. Call me optimistic. Kiy PS... still anxiously awaiting S3... hurry UUUUUP and give us news. lol

yea at first I thought part of it was the graphics, but then I realized its cuz there is fog over it all... its actually not to badly drawn. Very Wow'esque. I'm not a big fan of games that have a stationary camera either. The game is in Closed Beta, so it's not that surprising to me that there inst extensive help out there. But then I tend to like doing my own thing anyway. People are always telling me why I cant do what I do in games, lol. But as long as its fun and I can do it my way... that's all I care about. Of course when I'm in end game and people count on me I do things that are generally accepted and still have fun. Looking forward to playing tonight. Ill get to put some more time into it. Hey guys, I just got into the closed Beta.. Only got to play for about 30 minutes tho. First impression: I was kinda disappointed the first few minutes. I mean in this day and age of games its kinda not impressive. BUT.... I realized I did have fun, and I do like it, and I'm looking forward to checking it out more. *smiles* Kiyeri

Humm, hasn't happened to me yet.. but I'm not so far. Got into it when it first came back to the US as beta but wasn't able to play much and interest kinda died. So last night I started a new Char, and guess we will see where it goes. Have you tried the Single Player original version? I been playing that for years and Revival/Hellgateus makes a good CM patch. In fact interest in it died when HG Global came out, but they have started working on it again recently. Anyway Cheers, guess Ill just have to wait patiently for S3. Kiy

In response to the question about Steam, I recently bought Dead Island on CD, and guess what... you have to have Steam to play it, and you have to accept the updates as well in order for the game to work. I'm not a big fan of Steam, for security reasons, but also because you have to be online in order to play Single Player too. Here are a few other games I have bought on CD and had to register on Steam as well: Dungeon Siege III Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale Fallout New Vegas Two Worlds II Maybe once you have Steam on your PC it hijacks your other games that they have as well. Idn, but imo it sucks. Wonder if this is another sign of the future for gaming. Kiy fixed typos

I have been anxiously awaiting D3.. and now I'm kinda disappointed. I'm sure I'll get it, but I have enjoyed reading everyone's thoughts and comments. I have a few of my own tho (of course). I'm a huge fan of SP, love my online friends, but I need to log on, walk away and come back as often as needed. Also, there are times I play cuz I have to sit somewhere random and wait for hours (no satellite), and booting up a SP game makes the time fly by fast. But this Solo online seems to be the way of the future. Seen it in several of the games that have come out recently. As for RMT (real money traders) all MMO's have them. It's unfortunate but true and sometimes RMT ruin the game completely. As long as there are people out there that will pay real money for ingame items or currency there will always be those out there that will exploit it. Maybe this is Blizzard's way of trying something new to control it. In my experience Blizzard is one of those companies that try to keep them in check. Sooo... I guess reluctantly I'm willing to try and be open minded and wait and see how it all works. On the subject of Modding... Blizzard openly allows their games to be modded by the community. It has thousands and thousands of mods out there and you are allowed to use them. Supposedly, Blizzard even supplies the code for you to mod (I don't know first hand since I don't make mods). Anyway, until we here differently I would think D3 will be the same way. I have played Wow on and off for a few years, never for more then a month or two at a time... while I like the game, generally I am not a big fan of the player base. So many months ago I applied for the Diablo III beta. Then I get this offer from Blizzard... If I return to Wow and purchase a years membership I will receive D3 for free as well as being allowed into the Beta ><. Needless to say I'm not interested in playing Wow... Anyway there is my 365cents... lol Kiy

I think its an ossum idea. I always check to see if the price is lower on Amazon.com before I buy. Would love to see commission go to such a deserving group of ppl.

Unfortunately life is hectic these days and don't have much time to play... but ill never be too far away. Its in my blood lol. And I am anxiously waiting on S3... Ya all better play with me when it comes out Kiy
