  1. Hhhhmmm, when discussing the idea with Lllama he said that the toon would need bargaining mastery for the quest reward bonus Maybe looking into the code of the game(which I have no idea how to do) would be the only way to know for certain.
  2. "Bargaining Mastery grants better quest rewards" I've never read anything about this before and was wondering if anybody knows what it actually does? I'm trying to make a toon just to do all the quests in gold difficulty and was wondering if it's worth taking bargaining just for better quest rewards. Does it increase rewards chance by a percentage after the mastery or is it only worth taking the skill to 75 and no more? The tooltip doesn't mention this bonus after mastery. It only lists the chances for better items from traders.

  4. I've tried to get there by going across the ocean but found there is an unpassable "box" around the island Has anyone managed to get there and if so, how did you do it?
  5. Just downloaded it but I'm a little wary due to the fact I have dual OS's. Win7 is on one HDD and XP on the other. If I defrag from XP could it screw up things on the Win7 install? I tend to agree with the old saying "if it aint broke don't fix it"
  6. I was wondering wether it could have been a yet unknown bug Loco. It depends if DB can reproduce it or not I remember a video Erling posted a long time ago of him one shotting the garganthrapod with a dual wield Inquisitor.
  7. Wonder if it has something to do with "Chance to inflict Serious Open Wounds"? That can take quite a chunk of the Guardians hitpoints away. Also are you using the silver mod "Lacerate" on Callous Exacution? because that has scaling serious wounds too. anyway, awesome video. Have never seen them one shotted before and would love to know how you did it
  8. Agree mate, we seem to be completely in the dark at the moment over at the SIF. I hope they will not forget about the international community.
  9. Awesome game, was also addicted to it for quite a while. The Dark Brotherhood(think thats what it was called) quests are probably my favourite in any game. Wish Bethesda would get on and make another Elder Scrolls game, Fallout 3 was good but the setting was dull compared to Oblivion.

  11. Jolting Touch from the Lost Fusion aspect can kill bosses quickly and easily on it's own when modded life leech/self repair/shelter. JT will stack on bosses giving an instant regen with good leech/damage and over 100% mitigation. If you don't want to go down the deathly spears road then JT is all you need to kill all bosses. I can't stand the noise that DS makes so I had to find another way to kill bosses with LF
  12. That looks like its spawned with the block chance projectiles that scales with shield lore, very odd. If you remove some +all skills does the % change? Maybe is just to low level to spawn all the bonuses yet, try spawning it at higher levels.
  13. Hhhhmm, you might be right with the not having shield lore. All the shields I spawned were from toons that had the lore. Looks like it needs testing further, won't be able to until later today though.
  14. Here is a video of my effort at a ping-pong TG, he's only level 89 so has a way to go yet It's hard to make a good video of the AD Temple Guardian as it doesn't do him justice. It's a very fun build to play I think his AD is around level 53 with a 1.3 second regen but he has 85% chance to half regen which allows for a quick re-fire. AD is modded ricochet/ricochet/ice bullets for 4 hits per CA. Sorry the video has no sound, I cant figure out why.
  15. Server numbers do seem to have been reduced recently. Saying that, there were way to many (empty)free servers at one point. Hope all the money they are saving is going towards Sacred 3
  16. The skills are what makes PoE sound very interesting. Lllama wa saying earlier that with the gems the skill mods could be even more varied than Sacred 2. I agree with you Oasisbhrnw, the gritty look suits arpg's. There are to many cartoony games around at the moment, it's good to see a dark looking game again.

  18. I have troubles sometimes depending on which account I start first. The servers have been screwy over the weekend anyway, had loads of CTD's when joining servers. Maybe try the Sacred 2 temporary file cleaning utility, that might help. Found the old thread here
  19. Thanks to Vorlon for posting about this over at DA. Thought you guys might be interetsed in Path of Exile. Path of Exile website here and the DA thread here. A load of us have already registered interest in the beta. The game looks very interesting

  22. I think something got a little screwed up as it has the name and stats of a unique If you have a niob shopper to spawn it then this shield will last a long time. The CC block does scale with the shield lore skill even though it is shown in blue text. A rare shield with CC block and +XP might but be better to level with but this is probably the second best shield in the game(if you don't mind using the unlock items).
  23. I agree with r00 on the rare shields with scaling CC block. Later the armour from Stalworth becomes worse than the block. Rare shields can have cool mods later on and still keep the huge CC block chance with 2 sockets. If you are OK with the unlock items then Grunwald's Protection is an awesome shield. Scaling CC block, ranged/knockback block and 2 sockets
  24. Just did a little test in plat against the GC using just JT and didn't take any damage. I had no idea how much mitigation JT gives, was surprised to see what it does. It shows ~170% all channel mitigation not including toughness
