Using old and new items (=CM-patch sigils) to maximize CA-range for a mentalist build. Also demonstrates how a 100% chance to halve reg-times does in connection with combat discipline mastery: Regeneration starts at around 30% left.
  2. Gehackte Leber, = chopped liver, no thanks. Zeppelinwurst, oh yes.
  3. Different countries different laws.... Hypothek is mortgage I think, but most people in germany do a Grundschuld instead a Hypothek. ...Grundschuld is essentially the charge on the land or property. In essence the value of the security (usually owned by the bank) on the total asset. The Hypothek is the mortgage, and therefore the agreement with the bank to loan you money to pay off the charge. Thae value of the Hypothek will decrease (assuming it's a repayment mortgage), whereas the Grundschuld remains static (which is why it can't be the "outstanding balance of what you owe" as this will slowly reduce, unless you apply to re-evaluate to comply with the capital outstanding or re-mortgage). If anyone buys your property, then the company registered with the Grundschuld has first grabs on any payment potentially upto the Grundschuld value (but usually less as part of the mortgage is paid off) before you get any money... Our company accepted a Grundschuld of a worker when he built a house. The company was happy because he was closer to work, the worker was happy because of no bank credit, ... This tax and bank stuff is giving headaches, isn't it?
  4. My oldest is at home for weekend. She is studying arboristic (knowledge how to cure trees) and she said she never heard of a spring lark apple. But spring lark sounds like an early apple, so probably a Klarapfel or a variant. Klar is german for clear, english name is 'White Transparent'. A very early and sour apple with a strong taste and people use to pickle it hear in germany. They are normally not at stores because they rot away quickly. If it is the season (starts now) look at a market or ask at a place which sells apple trees. If the spring lark is a white transparent, plant some trees with some friends, local garden club or history club, ... Edit: mom says she used to pickle them with cucumbers as a younf girl.
  5. Yes. Having an older sister who wasted most of her money for music doesn't reallyforced me to buymyown albums. But intrumental or clasic music wasn't her thing.
  6. Did you know that Michael Rother did a studio album called Katzenmusik=cat music? The first album I ever bought and I still like it. Bought it for the background music for a photoshow about the travel to Verona/italy we did with our class when 16. Then I listened to the music while learning for highschool and later univetsity. My cat was used to it and played a purring bass while curled on my knees. Instrumental music is best for learning and for cats. Rother was an early member of Kraftwerk and gave concerts improvising with rec hot chiou peppers some years back.
  7. PPP = Pizza, Pasta, Pommes A caterer for kids birthdays, I think oekotrophologists will get headaches reading such a name. But my daughter reported than they served Bratlinge at the birthday of a friend. Bratlinge are tradtional german veg burgers.
  8. I miss the Raspberry variant of Aranca yogurt cream. Normally you use the powder for a tasty yogurt cream. But if you use fruit juice instead yogurt it results in something tasting like a sorbet, with the light stiffness of a mousse and I like to use it for my 15 minutes cakes. http://www.germangoodies4u.com/dessert/177-dr-oetker-paradies-creme-sahne-karamell.html The aranca/juice mix is top: So much red berries in our garden and they discontinue the red variant of aranca. Did't they know that I didn't use it for cream but for cakes?
  9. Thats why my wife has a coffee grinder and a boiler in her doctor room. Some relaxed talking while she prepares the coffee and often getting some information before the realexamination starts. But with the way health insurance pays examinations, it would be just 8 minutes for a standard. So the examination time has to be creativly redistributed away from healthy persons to ones with no diagnosis yet. But she is a countryside doc, so nearly all people are known for lot of years now. And often it is such simple as a pet died and the person is sitting at home instead walking with the dog. But at a village she knows this, shw probably wouldn't know in abig town.
  10. Our Askepot, norwegian for a pot for ash = cinderella fairyfale, has 50 shades of grey in her fur. She looks as she felt into a ash pot. Forest cats are clever beasts, they don't follow a squirrel , they jump up the tree and wait for the squirrel to appear. Also they don't fear water, ours is hunting for small fishes at our reservoir for the firefighting water. Her last kitties were not pure forest cats. Seems a wild cat found the way through the forests. We kept one of the blenders (how wecall mix of wildcat and housecat) and gave the others to farmers who wanted intependent rat hunters rather than house cats. Ours has the 5 stripes of a wildcat between the ears, just like the wildcat in my avatar.
  11. Most cheese needs rennet from calf stomachs. In switzerland most calves were slaughtered for cheese making. Nowadays there is artificial rennet. The rennet thickens milk for digesting and is mainly found only in stomachs of young mammals. Our local cheese is made from quark using bacteria and not rennet. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rennet http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sour_milk_cheese http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Handkäse We do our own cheese, buying some fresh milk from a nearby farmer. We have this nice swiss army knife staircase in our house. Drying fruits, riping cheese, making gruenkern, walking up and down, slide on it, heating the house, ... Nice staircase. http://darkmatters.org/forums/index.php?/topic/18412-what-is-the-latest-big-real-life-project-you-started/
  12. Found at many bookstores and bibletheques: One can renounce plenty of things... but cats and literature! Nice age, the norwegian forest cat of my wife is 18 now.
  13. One thing from my grand^4ma I forgot: local mills were outdated then. While the modern mills in towns had fine sieves to turn the flour into fine white powder, local mills lacked them. Whole grain flour a century before its benefits for health become known. No train or roads- the relative small area was forced to produce all what was needed for itself. To prevent misharvests there was no monoculture but a brought mix - again something good for the health without people knowing it at the time. Not much cows or calfs to be slaughtered so normal cheese couldn't be done. Bacteria fermented cheese (Handkäse) is today considered as one of the traditional lowest fat cheeses in the world. --- If your diabetes doesn't come hand in hand with an allergy against Gluten: Ever tried Grünkern? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gr%C3%BCnkern Grünkern was discovered when unripe spelt had to be harvested because of bad weather. Grünkern stew recipe in english: http://kitchen-tested.com/2011/06/23/gruenkern-stew/ The wife of my brother in law suffers from diabetes: One recipe we do when she visits is paprica filled with mushrooms and Grünkern
  14. I did a video showing the dragon mage in the swamp at the spitting spiders. No healing done while the video, frame rate was just 3fps or so. The mini-map isn't really a minimap because I place energy blazes at the screen corners in front of approaching enemies, well I would if the frame rate would have not dropped this amount. I hope you can see the 7oclock effect for the first combination which is just energy blaze: 101% chance for half regeneration and 20% faster because of combat discipline mastery results in the regeneration clock starting at 70% = close to 8o'clock. I hope also that you can see the range covered by an energy blaze and that the damage received is not that bad.
  15. I was speaking ofmy grand^4-ma who died aged 103. She lived when the area had no train or road connection, so mainly from the local stuff. Pigs were wooly forest-pigs with way less fat, cows were used as a replacement for horses and only slaughtered when too old for work- tough low fat beef, sugar was not this white crystals but honey or melass from boiled sugar beets, plant oil was rare and a pot of pig fat had to last for a year,... Most recipes were boiled not roasted food and she allways drunk a cup of Dickmilch in the morning. Dickmilch= bacteria fermented milk. Add Sauerkraut, Rotkraut, Handkaese, Crayfishs were not endangered,....
  16. As soon as you start to use maths a food can't be healthy. Too much thinking is stress, and stress is unhealthy. Add that people are not same. Lactose intolerance and other stuff is genetic. Thousand year old process to adapt people to local food. Just eat the favourite food your grandgrandgrandgrandma taught you can't be a mistake. All studies showing that a certain group of people and their food has a longer life span are often ignoring the climate, working conditions and other factors.
  17. German rammstein wiki says that the name was done temporary and they stll searched for a better. But the name stuck to them like chewing cum on a shoe or a bad nickname. Very like to The Who who did song contests with different names and the time they won they had a stupid name and the organizer asked the who? And they said okay, The Who. They didn't thought that this would become their later name.
  18. Tomy knowledge Rammstein named themself Rammstein Flugschau when the band was founded. The second M a writing mistake. Flugschau is german for air-show. One of the bands covering Rammstein is named Flugschau
  19. They covered Rammstein too. But if I read or hear Rammstein- I have always the terrifying accident at he airshow at Ramstein in my mind. Was at airforce firefighters then and we visited a day after for cleanup and learning from mistakes.
  20. It happened several times now. We bought high price tickets for the original band- mainly for the life show. But at the concerts all the people in the rows before us have their hands in the sky holding cellular phones and cameras, sometimes just few centimetres in front of our faces.... The opposite at a cover band: It seems there is less to no reason to do a film and put it at youtube. We could watch the life performance and that at a way lower price (sometimes free). So we could bring the kids with and show them which kind of music we listened when their parents were young.
  21. After her car accident - http://darkmatters.org/forums/index.php?/topic/16390-car-accident/ - our second daughter was a bit handicapped in which sports she still could do. We are very happy that she won the district championship in Radball in a mixed team. Radball was chosen to remove fear when riding a bicycling by doing a sport which uses a bike. Learning controlling a bicycle, predicting and memorizing other vehicles (bikes), team sport, ... Didn't exspect that she would stay in it for more than one and half year now - perhaps the other half of the mixed team is a reason. Don't know how popular Radball is outside central europe, so here is a little video for beginners: and a german one Funny that the idea for the sport was born when a biker was attacked by a little dog and hurled it away by a gentle move with the forewheel.
  22. Yes, but corgi are more open graslands. Too many boars here hiding in the forests, fear they are too short-legged. But I think every place used to have their optimal localized breeds. Our state has the most forest of all german states, andgermany has the most of alleuropean countries.
  23. Spagehti-ice was invented in the nineteen-sixteens in germany. Read the wiki link in last post. Here it is quite common at icebars. But it isn'ttoocomplicated to make it yourself. If I would have invented it vanilla ice would be meadowsweet ice
  24. Nice recipes, we did Spaghettieis 3 days ago when temperatures were at 37 Celcius, strawberries are ripe and it is quickly done having a press for potato damplings, which can be used for noodles too. Spaghettieis -spaghetti-ice Spaghetti- replaced by vanilla ice pressed through a noodle machine tomato ketchup- replaced by strawberry sauce parmesan cheese- replaced by coconut pieces http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spaghettieis Our vanilla ice is more yellow than in the picture, adding a bit saffron for a more spaghetti-like colour.
  25. We got our Runi from a nearby farmer whose youngest boy turned out allergic to dogs. So if he needs Runi for working he phones and the dog can run the 3 miles alone. If not for cows ,Runi is ecellent at catching frisbees. Old german races: http://www.herdingontheweb.com/english.htm The cow-dogs www.herdingontheweb.com/kuhhund.htm
