How fast is the Ancarian Day?

Seraphim Cleansing Brilliance buff gives extra vision at night -
It's SP for a reason. The game TOTALLY immerses you in your character and the story surrounding him. This is one of the few games I will play on the lowest difficulty setting possible just so I can get to the next point in the story

Overgrowth - damn that combat!
Ryanrocker replied to CoolColJ's topic in New Games General Discussion
Throwing your weapon seems to be the only ranged implemented at this time, but it is only alpha and he mentioned staying in alpha for another 1-2 years so there is certainly room for additions -
Awesome, the Witcher series is both one of my favorite book series and one of my favorite game series. Geralt looks quite old in this next installment, but as always, the games are played for the incredible intriguing story, with the combat complimenting that

Very cool looking keyboard! Unfortunately it's not mechanical so that immediately drives me away Edit: Spending $80 on a non-mechanical keyboard is the part the bugs me the most. It's a little ridiculous to think about how much having a brand (SteelSeries, GW2) labeled on to your hardware can raise the price.

Ohhh interesting topic! I hope someone has the answer, I'm pretty curious about this as well -
Tapatalk on DarkMatters?
Ryanrocker replied to gogoblender's topic in Forum Changes, Feedback and How to Reach us Live
I know almost nothing about Tapatalk, except for all the times I'm on my phone trying to read a forum and have to load an extra 3 pages because of a Tapatalk "This forum supports Tapatalk! Click here to install now!" ad. I browse Darkmatters regularly on my phone, and navigation is excellent with our current IP Board providers. I say nay just for the sole reason of having ads -
Gogo, what makes it worse was that this was almost Day 1 DLC. This came out about 1-2 weeks after release. Now THAT is what makes me sad

This weekend was huge for GGG on the ban department. They caught alot of streamer who were botting/using RMT, which I think is great Edit: I also extremely dislike Panko. He purposely kills his HC characters to get views, and then buys all the gear back with real money. People like him really kill the HC community and shouldn't be playing the game if that's what they are in it for.

This one is made by a LARGE majority of the old Blizzard North devs (Diablo 1 & 2, vanilla World of Warcraft), so I am super excited for this game. I've been signed up for a beta invite the last 6 months and haven't heard anything back but I know some people who have gotten in and love it. The most unique thing about this game is the Path system IMO. Basically when you make a character you choose their race, pick two classes, and decide on a Path. A Path is basically how you would like to play WildStar. As of now there are 4 Paths: Soldier (given extra combat missions), Explorer (given extra world exploration challenges), Settlers (good for house building and given base-defense style missions), and finally Scientist (which take samples of materials out in the field and do experiments). If you didn't get that, I'll leave the video down below

Wait, those ads were for Wartune? I've seen them before and was always like "oh...well then" -

Torchlight 2 - New ingame Video June 30th
Ryanrocker replied to Rotluchs's topic in New Games General Discussion
Yup there is online HC, and I believe servers are still running and no need for LAN quite yet. I really enjoyed Torchlight 2, and it has a decent amount of depth to it -
Wartune - not exactly new but...

Just for laughs I quickly threw together a side by side comparison and they actually aren't as similar as I originally thought -
Wartune - not exactly new but...

Looks pretty interesting! Thanks for the writeup and trailers Wolfie and gogo. Really looks to me like Final Fantasy gameplay with a STOLEN hotbar from Diablo 3. I mean look at that thing! Practically identical -
So I've Never Played Sacred...
Ryanrocker replied to Ryanrocker's topic in Sacred General Discussion
Interestingly enough, after playing about 10 hours of Sacred 1, I am back into enjoying Sacred 2:I&B. I really enjoyed Underworld, but I think it's one of those things where so many good memories and experiences in Sacred 2 have led to some prejudice. Whether I go back to Underworld and explore the world more remains to be seen, but for the mean time I'm happy that one Sacred experience has led to further enjoyment of another in the franchise -
Old Sacred HC geek coming back to play Sacred 2

I finished this up today, and that feeling of grabbing your unique mount after running around so long on foot is just magical -
Diablo 3 starter edition - free to play
Ryanrocker replied to CoolColJ's topic in Diablo 3 General Discussion
Keep in mind the game got scrapped a few times in the production cycle and the production time is actually much less than most people realize. As you mention, the vision and talent is simply not there - because the Blizzard North devs left. Although a few did leave to form Runic, also remember that a LARGE majority of them are over at Carbine Studios working on WildStar. So the people who brought us Diablo 1 & 2 are still out there, just working on different series. And that fact gives me hope for developers -
Not going to mention much for spoilers sake, but I really enjoyed this episode and the humor that went with it. Only thing for me is that I feel that this series would be better as a biweekly series instead of weekly. Every two or so episodes seem very related 1&2, 4&potential 5, and for times sake I think each episode would have more meat to it instead of the tidbits that we are being fed
