  1. Holy poopsicles, no wai?!? So say, for instance, I have 2 weapons with 25% DB each, and two pieces of armour with 25% DB each (totalling 100%), then does this mean I'll deal 2x damage all of the time, or will it deal 2x damage for the first hit and then revert back to 1x damage for the remainder (the remainder being less than 100% health)? The answer to this might just change the way I play my Seraphim....
  2. Trust me, I'm right. When you enter the cellar there's an unmarked doorway immediately to the left. It just looks like a black archway, but its a stairway that takes you further down. I called my PS3 a few choice names before I found it, I can tell ya.
  3. There's another door in the cellar immediately to the left of the entrance you come in by. Its not marked out, and its easy to miss. I know this, cos I had the same frustration as you did about 30 minutes ago until I accidentally discovered the other doorway. You can thank me later.
  4. First of all, I'd like to nominate Xcelency as the new God to be worshipped by all. He truly is The Man. Thank you SO much dude, seriously. You have the full sets of each? Um... lemme see what I need... Endijian's Pauldron Endijian's Wings Endijian's Bracers Endijian's Sash Endijian's Leg Guards Niokaste's Grace Niokaste's Shoulder Guards Niokaste's Cord Niokaste's Leg Guards The Officer's Saber has gone to Xcelency, but I saved the Dryad Shoulders for you. If you want to exchange more, then just keep selecting what you want and I'll deliver the goods.
  5. Really?!? Wow, thanks! If there's nothing you need, I have cash.... just over 3mil.... I'll happily pay for any of the NBD or EA set pieces I don't have - although you'll have to let me know beforehand, so I can arrange to move the money around (its a pain on the console versions....). I'm in the UK, so god knows what the time diff is. Unfortunately I'm just off to bed (what with it being past midnight here now) after 9 hours of Sacred 2, but I should be around tomorrow. My PSN ID is Blokeh so add me when you come online tomorrow and I'll create a lvl1 character and get some dealin' done!
  6. Okay, both you guys, I have no other method of typing on PS3 than the joypad, and I hate how long it takes to type.... been meaning to get me a touchpad for ages.... So both of ya.... what ya got in those two sets, and what ya want for 'em? Might as well post it all here so others know whats still on offer....
  7. **** LIST UPDATED - Thanks to all who've traded so far, you're legendary! **** So I *really* want either the Niokaste's Blade Dance set or the Endijians Artifacts set (NBD cos my character is more a fighter than anything else, and EA because it looks like some mental Varia Suit reject from the Metroid world). My Seraphim is currently at level 40 (silver) but expect that to change very rapidly in the next week or so. So.... if anyone has any of the pieces for those sets around the 40-60 level in duplicate, and fancies any of the items below, let me know. **Edit - I've gotten a few lightsabers too, so if you want, I'll throw one in on any deal, while stocks last** Thanks. 8. My rule is to keep ALL combat arts at one rune for the majority of the game. The more runes you learn, the more damage you do, and the more time it takes to recharge. If you add the [insert name of combat art bracket] Focus skill to your list (like for the SW you can choose Malevolent Champion Focus, or MFC) this will reduce the charge time for all of the combat arts in the Malevolent Champion bracket. This means you can use the multi-hit combo art (forget what its called), and the more you add to MCF, the quicker it recharges. Then when you have it down to a single second or so - and ONLY then - learn another rune or two. Provided you keep the recharge time low by putting points into MCF, you can use the combo as your standard move and turn your SW into a walking vegetable dicer. I prefer me some Dual Wield, but whatever dude. I'd recommend getting Astral Lord Lore. This increases the damage that your Nether Allegiance do, and with enough points, you can summon more undead to fight for you. Some think thats the cheap way out, but hey, it works. I'd also recommend Armour Lore, so you can wear bigger and better armour, as well as get more benefits from it too.
  9. Diamond! I got a few more set pieces tonight, so I'll list them tomorrow and you can pick a few.
  10. I would only ask for two of the lvl35 Officers Sabers, but I see they're on the no-no list. The rest is way out of my level league. Ho hum, nevermind then.
  11. From one married man to an (almost) other, congrats man!
  12. HOT DAYUM I'LL TAKE SOME! I have some set items, lemme get back to you....
  13. It helps if you play on at least Silver difficulty. My Seraphim took Bargaining as her second skill. I levelled up a whole lot until I had at least 10 skill points to spend. First stop, Enhanced Perception with 5 points. Then, Bargaining. From there on out, I always ensured I had my Bargaining skill maxed out with points. This was ALWAYS the level the character was. From there, I enhanced it with armour that had either "+ Bargaining" or "+ All Skills" on it, as well as the Relics you find - if you have 6 Relics with +2 Bargaining, thats an instant +12 boost. If you manage to keep your total Bargaining total at LEAST double your character level, you will find some unbelievable things at merchants. Exceed more than double, and you will find lightsabers.... oh yes. As for my character, I then took Sword Weapons, Dual Wield, Armour Lore, Exalted Warrior Focus and Concentration as my next skills, and at level 27, I'm pretty much unstoppable. As I can find the best weapons and armour, I'm tooled up to buggery, and with my points split between Bargaining and EWF, I'm a shopping psycho who can unleash Pelting Strikes once ever 2.2 seconds. I'm taking Tactics Lore next, not too sure what to take from there, but I'm looking at a pretty decent build here. Not perfect, but damn close.
  14. I'm glad I wasn't the only confused one. Considering I've played several hundred RPGs since the early 1990s, I'm surprised I never came across this term until I joined here....
  15. I see the term "mob" used during Sacred 2 discussions, and even seen it as "MOB" too. Part of me thinks "a mob is a large group of enemies", but another part of me thinks "I wonder if that really is what it means...." People mention mob/MOB size as affecting drops, and I just wanna make sure.... mob/MOB really does mean "a large group of enemies", doesn't it?
  16. Sorry man, Akuma911 claimed the last one. He doesn't have it yet on account of me not adding him, but I have one left after giving them out to people here and my own site, and he was the last one to ask. Sorry everyone! Once Akuma911 gets his, thats the lot gone!
  17. Thats the quick version. 1. Create a new user profile on your PS3/360. 2. Start up the game on the main user profile. 3. Go to Start Game, and choose what you want to play. 4. Select OFFLINE. 5. When the game starts, hit the start button on the second controller. 6. Player 2 logs in using the secondary user profile. 7. Go have fun in Ancaria.
  18. Original post says thats what he did, and the quest wasn't there.
  19. This is true but if your friend is the one starting the game and your the one joining in, you would be fighting level 10 baddies as the levels spawn around the same level as the host player. Not so. My friend was a level 30 SW, I was a level 40 SE. He hosted, I joined, and the enemies were 40+. True PS3-based Sacred 2 story.
  20. Turns out the money was on his main which was 20+ levels higher than me. So I set up a new toon and just offed 150-ish potions (to get my stock to an even 1300) and threw in a lightsaber too, all completely gratis. Yeah, I'm just that nice.
  21. 1x light potion @ 5000 gold 100 light potions = 500,000 gold. 200 light potions = 1,000,000 gold. I have just short of 1500 light potions. I'll do you 300 lights for 1,000,000 gold, or 500 lights (and two lvl16 orange lightsabers) for 2,000,000. Your call. Drop me a line anytime and we'll sort something out. Again, the PSN ID is Blokeh so if you're alright with this, add me and hit me up.
  22. ooo, I may have to document these Just teleport around the first few towns, as each merchant restocks (at least I'm sure they do) if you leave the area and return. It'll be far cheaper this way, than paying 5000 gold for each. BUT.... if you really want to pay 5000 gold a piece, I'll run around Ancaria and grab you a ton of them no problem. Drop me a message on the PSN Blokeh if you really wanna do this, and I'll start farming right away.
  23. Hang on.... Potions are only around 200 each depending on where you buy them from (I just bought a load at 86gold each).... Or am I missing something?
