    I found a unique poison fang.:woot: Didn't even know those exist. Are they part of a mod? Because I can't find any information about them in the wiki. Does anybody know name or id of the unique damage converters in the blueprint.txt?

    Does somebody know where this miniportal leads? It's behind a locked door in a cave where this chain quest takes place. I have not found a "legit" way yet to unlock the door.

    Wiki says that originally the cave was split into three different caves which got merged in later versions. On the wiki dungeons map, one can still see the original shape of the cave(s), where a large chunk of the cave is now currently unaccessible because the most part of the pathway between the two cave areas is gone and instead there is this strange miniportal behind the locked door know. Does somebody know what happened here?

  3. hmm I can easily accept that this is a special case, but your explanation seems weird to me for two reasons: Just because it isn't rendered doesn't necessarily mean it isn't there and then there are these gothic style archways with two of the streams going right through.

    I think a way to test this is if the same thing can happen to a ranged weapon other than a blowpipe, then the case is clear but if we don't get it to work with another weapon, then it's evidence that it has to do with using a blowpipe.

     

    EDIT:

    Since I didn't have a high level Dryad, I downloaded an unskilled testcharacter and tried it with the only ranged weapon it had, a throwing potion (the dark matter one), on the same building on the seraphim island and mounted of course. One can see the projectile getting blocked by an invisible wall, no matter how close to the wall I am. Since there are no hits, it would be pointless to make a screenshot. Next I'll try to find some more weapons, especially a good blowpipe. One thing to notice is I played with CM-patch and S2EE CORE, but without S2EE Altenate Spells. This is fun, it gives me a reason to play the game again:)

     

    EDIT 2:

    Tested pretty much every ranged weapon. The only weapon I could get it to work is the blowpipe. It works on every wall, but you need to be close to the wall in order to shoot through. If you're not close enough, you get the sound and animation of the blowgun attack spell but there's no hit. Works with both the two weapon CAs and normal leftcklick attacks.

    Conclusion: blowpipes can shoot through close objects.

    So at least that's the proof blowpipes can shoot through walls, can't find the part anymore where they're blocked by hills.

    I know that I've seen some pictures in a guide somewhere in the german sacred 2 forum where the person did exactly what you suggest here. if I remember correctly then the conclusion was that blowpipes can go through pretty much anything "handplaced", like walls and statues etc., while being blocked by anything "terrainbased", like hills and cliffs etc.. imma see wether I can find the link again

  6. Yeah I wish there was another list like that for attack speed so that players inexperienced with some weapon types could really compare and understand, however I don't know where to get these informations. Maybe it has something to do with the length of the different attack animations?

    There's something I wanted to do for a while now but I don't have enough skill, honsestly I don't even know where to start. Is it possible to mod High Elfs Blazing Tempest so it no longer gets blocked by every single tree and rock while also keeping the fx and damage synchronized? I mean one could simply change the spellclass to Levin Arrays spellclass or something like that but then the damage events wouldn't align with the fx animation anymore. Because this is what makes a Pyromancer High Elf very not fun for me, especially in regions like the Artamark.

    Btw the same goes for the Glacial Thorns spell, but it's not as bad as Blazing Tempest because of the spikes height.

    That is really interesting. Does this work vice versa? E.g. if people found an item in Sacred Gold like the Dragonscale or so, and then install ReBorn, pick up the item and put it back and it will change? Because then the problem would be solved:cool:

    I have a question for you regarding the unskiled Characters Topic:

    First of all: Exciting news! @SupremeJoker has sent me a char save with tons of farmed stuff that I didn't find to upload it here in the forum.:bow: First of all, a kudos and a big thank you for him for keeping the game alive :D I think he really deserves appreciation for that.

    Now as some of you might know, SupremeJoker plays with the Sacred ReBorn mod by OverLookers Clan. This mod fixes a lot of item-specific bugs and it changes some few key items of the game to be way better balanced.

     

     

    The pro thing is that it makes items obtainable that in Vanilla were initially intentional to be able to drop, but due to a bug these items either don't drop at all or they drop significantly altered than the developers originally intended.

    The con thing is that the mod is also a rebalance mod that alters some key items in a way that would significantly change Vanilla gameplay. Additionally the Overlookers are constantly working on ReBorn which means that things might change in the future.

     

     

    Now the question is: should I include ReBorn specific items to the unskilled characters file, should I only upload items that are obtainable in Vanilla or should I upload a second file of unskilled characters, one for Vanilla and one for ReBorn?

    • If you vote for the first option, I can simply install the ReBorn mod and upload both Vanilla and ReBorn items on the same characters so that people can sort them out to their likings on their own.
    • If you vote for the second option, I'd just need to sort out all the ReBorn specific items on the file SupremeJoker sent me since everything I farmed is Vanilla.
    • The last option honestly means a lot of work because I would need to duplicate all of the heroes and then go through all the item changes on all the different versions of the ReBorn mod and sort out everything that would not be obtainable in ReBorn on the ReBorn characters and everything that would not be obtainable in Vanilla on the Vanilla characters, which would also mean that I would need to be constantly switching between Vanilla and ReBorn. If you want me to do that then I might need some help with that.

    I will edit the Poll in this thread after this post so you all can simply vote here.

    Hey @SupremeJoker, I've created this new topic for our discussion. This is exactly what I had in mind when creating the unskilled characters file in the first place. 

    The minimum level is just the minimum level requirement your character needs to be able to wear the item, it has nothing to do with the level of the item itself. An item with minimum level 202 can be significantly worse than an item with minimum level 150, but it doesn't need to be. If you want your item to be the best possible, you need to look at the level directly below the item's name.

    I've pinned your request to the first comment in this topic. Unfortunately I cannot help you more than that right now, but if I ever find the ring at a higher level, I'll let you know. BUT you can do me a favor: Since your The One Ring of All has a higher level than mine, can you send it to me? I'll then upload it to the above file and edit you name in the first post of the unskilled characters download topic so that everybody knows it was you who found the item.

     

    I don't know the exact rule for the minimum Level Requirement, but I assume it has something to do with the main stats (which would be the four damage types for a ring). The best way to farm these items is with a trading character at the so called "Bravemart". This is another thing I wanted to do for a while: getting full yellow "%regeneration special move" and "%regeneration spells" gear for all the characters.

    This is a place dedicated to trading Sacred Underworld items. The idea is that we all gather everything we find together in a single file and make it downloadable for everyone. I will try to keep track of everything being sent in that is not created using an item editor and update it to this file:

    Part of the reason I created this topic instead of just discussing it up there in the downloads section is so that our moderators don't have to check every single comment for the community rules after posting.

    Right now unfortunately there are 14 edited items in there, one of the goals of this thread is to gradually replace them with "legally" found drops. I will create a list of every item that we already have in above file and a second list of every item people asked for. This is a work-in-progress which will probably take me a lot of time which probably means that I will edit this post a lot. We will probably also need to think about how we make it that everybody is able to send items to everybody without flooding the darkmatters servers.

    Hey gogo,

    Yes I understand that, I was just asking wether the default skin has a dark mode somewhere or we'll have to use a browser extension for that. Since I'm not a very long time member and I'm not familiar with invision at all, it could have been that there are settings for that and I just couldn't find them. Seems like that isn't the case:wink:

     

    However I'm looking forward to that. Love you moderators work, the great Pumpkin totally catched me by surprise :)

    My favorite bosskiller CAs have always been gust of wind and/or iceshards. Not patient enough for the meteors animation :D
