Indeed it is convenient, and since I use Webmail notifier I have to stay logged in for it to work. But like Tomi I use NoScript, and also R.I.P, Better Privacy 1.22 and goolash. (Funny name that one for a extension. )

Appearently they did something, because the test gives better results now. The ping is not 40-50 but atleast a whole darn lot better then before, and so is the upload. EDIT: Ok now I am both extremely happy and extremely confused? How can there be such a huge improvement all of a sudden? It is great but...Huh I have decided not to trust the results of this Speed test site anymore. The results are so subject to change for me, several times it was between 17000 and 19500..and just now after I restarted my computer the results are somewhat lower then in the first speed test picture in this post.

LoL I did call them today and they said they would look into it. Which probably means they will take their time. As for my download and upload, according to my Internet provider my download should be around what it is now. They agree that the upload should be somewhere between 465 and 480. The ping should also be much...much smaller they say. It should be between 40 and 50. (At the moment I have trouble believing anything they tell me so I will see.) I will wait and see what they come up with.(And also..when )

Yeah I know it is high, I do not know if this is another thing my IP messed up..or if there is another reason. But at the moment my best bet is with my Internet provider. No matter how often I try it...it is always some where between 450 and 495.(I tried it a minute ago and it was 491 ) On page 5 post 84 of this thread you can see the results of how it was before they merged. As for your upload and ping...cue Ave Satanae(spelling?)

Well this is what you get when your internet provider merges with other Internet provider companies. A improvement in download speed, but pretty big loss in upload.

I also noticed that Darkmatters pages load fast again, it could also just be because I am trying out a different browser at the moment.(And no it is not Google Chrome or the latest IE ) Nah just kidding, even with Firefox I noticed that the loading times have returned to our favor.

Stubbie, you and gogoblender are not the only ones having trouble with slow loads. I actualy experience slow to very slow loading on many other websites. So it seems to be a common problem throughout the entire internet.(Well at least, that's how I notice it. )

LoL, I am usualy unable to make a picture like that but I hat my brother inlaws digital camera for 2 days, and the picture became a whole lot better then I expected. (And also a lot bigger. )
