Well that sucks. I thought it was funny. Imagine a snowball coming at you and ya think "Im protected" next thing ya know your on fire. What the .... Just can't get the thought out of my head. I'm here at work thinkin about it and laughing trying to work on machines and the operators keep giving me funny looks.

Ok guys this one is wierd to me. Granted I just started playing pc 2.43. I noticed that when I'm looking at my Mystic Combat Art on my HE the element damage changed depending on what weapon I have in hand. I really just noticed this when I had a sword in hand with fire element and my frost flare showed up physical and fire damage. Does the same with GS and Nimbus. So does this really mean I can trow a burning snowball at a kobold an watch him burn? Seems kinda funny but would really be a benefit for differant mobs and the armor they protect against.

Currently I have a blacksmith at level 44 and a shopper at 28. Locolagarto has a shopper at 31. We are running patch 2.43. Do we run the blacksmith and a shopper up to niob level before we get Ice and Blood or do we take the plunge now so we can build these guys up to take into account for the nerfs and such?

I just switched to the pc version also. It's a new world compaired to xbox. I had to totally rethink how I play. First thing I learned is to drop the leveling up fast idea. Your starting out empty, play safe and slow. Get your skills were ya need them and a big chest of goodies to swap to a toon that you'd want to level fast. My first toon is a blacksmith, with him I'm socketing smithing skills for my HE shopper to get her up to near his level. Can't shop with no money and playing hardcore you need a strong first toon to lay ground work for the others.

Not set on these as a brand. It just happens to be at bestbuy where I live. The gts 250 is about $189 and the 9800 about $150. I want to get a good card under $200 that in 2 months time I don't want to be saying " dang I wish I would have bought XXX"

I'm looking to buy A new Vid card and want to know what y'all think betwee these two. BFG- nvidia geforce gts 250 oc 1gb gddr3 pci express or BFG- nvidia geforce 9800 gt 1gb gddr3 pci express

I just went the way of the pc with loco. The Holos Burger Brothers are mainstream now. Still have to figure out how the controls work but I'll get used to it. As far as spending 1000k I'd have to stay console. As it is I need to get an upgraded vid card. But it works for now

How's the little Mage doing? Is she getting closer to that new vid card? What kind will you buy?

Speaking of buying the pc version, is there a keyboard map we could download and print out to have infront of us till we figure out how to play on pc?

Ya know after thinking about this, it just might be better for us to start our builds out this way to find the sticky spots to fix unstead of having to wait till niob to find weak spots. By then it's much harder to fix than if we find them at low levels

I'm up for that! Been a long time since had a build like this. Kinda like the challenge of the "Mage that couldn't concentrate"

That could be. When I got to niob at level 93 and loco was at 97 bfg he invited me to freeplay to unlock the empty office quest. When we popped into the jungle mobs were 30 levels higher. At that time I had a 95% SB and I believe Loco did as well. Since then Im at 117 and I can only get mobs at 17 levels above me. I'd have to vote for SB doing the level gaps. Or damn bad luck/glitch that day. Needless to say that was my first death.

That sux. To think I spent that time and frustration dancing through dryad city to find that ....... Temple underground. Wooosaaaa. Ok I'll be good now.

Sure is. I had just finished killing this beast recently and needed to figure out what to do with all that beef. Then I had an inspirational mouth watering thought.....about every other weekend I go out to my favorite pub for the most wonderful pizza, Wooley Bully's. The pizza I get there I call the Greek Special. Its got 5 cheeses, one being feta, chopped Gyro meat, black olives, extra roasted garlic cloves, mushrooms and spinach, with fresh chopped basil to finish it off. So I figured I would get a bit of both worlds with this monster. The pictures wont download on my iphone to show the folk at work. I'll figure out something though.

Thank you very much I'm honored, my stomach is calling me names for the abuse, not only did we eat it Sunday during the game but I took the last third of it to work Monday for lunch and dinner. It was even good cold. But my belly is screaming at me... Or is it my pants button screaming for relief? Not sure but something is getting ready to let loose. Must be the kid in use that's taking so much pleasure in eating this monster and seeing a title under our names. Thanks again Gogo and all who have watched with interest.

@Scratchiepants take constitution. You'll need it for niob. If ya want to find goodies socket Chance to find valuables xx%. My high elf has no ep but about a 40% chance to find valuables and I'm always getting good drops. And try and kill as fast as you can I think it ups the chance for good drops.

One thing I wish I would have done on the shield maiden was mod the expulse for damage, undead, t-energy. Love this CA for undead. Just wish it did the same to killing t-energy mobs. But then again I modes it like you said for damage, undead, and block incoming magic, which I think at this time at level 111 on niobium is saving my backside. Even with over 40thousand armor, 120% evade, about 40% detrimental magic I'm getting hit for 3000 by the demon fish in the jungle. Well see what dryad island has instore for me tonight.

BTW what kinda hardwear would I need to run sacred on the pc? Back whenn I played EverQuest I had to turn off all the spell effects when I ran my bard, twisting 3-4 songs at a time was too hard on my system back then.

Wow still very impressive to come up with combos like that. I'm liking it. Keep us informed on how she's doing with it. I like the added difficulty of no chest or smithing help from higher up. Hope the young one is doing well in her recouping.

Wow mighty fine way to work things. And this coming from your 11yr old? Kids got brains dude. I'll have to try this teleport trick once I have it modes out. I'm currently running your shield maiden at level 105 on niob.

Got to do what ya got to do. Like Knuckles said if there's a way some of us can help let us know or do what you have to. Both SacredWiki and Dark sites are awesome I'd hate to lose them.

I tryed farming this morning. Had a hard time getting one to spawn but finally got one. experience was great but I didn't get any good drops other than money. I don't have EP, my chance to find valuables is about 35%. Maybe I need to get CFV up higher to get the drops your talking about. But the hunting of these champs was fun till I got too close to town and the ogre kept casting into town. I did notice that when the ogre casts his minion he always casts to the north if that helps anyone to choose the battle ground.
