  1. If you're looking for the highest experience gain per minute, then the Orc Cave is your best choice (assuming you can kill them quickly enough). I've run experience/minute tests between the Orc Cave, Swamp and Turtle Island (near Poison Lord), and came out to this conclusion. Due to the fact that you can infinitely spawn the Orc Cave (so there's no need to reload the Free World game or leave the area in general) and there's little time needed to travel between sets of mobs (especially if you can clear the cave in 15 seconds or less), the experience/minute is actually highest from the Orc Cave. The only thing which may slow you down a little bit is if you tend to keep too much of the loot (forcing you to leave, sell the items and come back). If you only keep what you think will be useful to you (and maybe Set Items/Uniques) and scrap everything else (you'll get pretty quick at it with practice) then you can keep on farming the Orc Cave almost non-stop for hours. The only downside to the Orc Cave is that there's absolutely no variety (and variety isn't encouraged when you're trying to kill everything asap), which can get a little boring after a while. Hope that helps.
  2. Done and done! I revised the main Attribute page, as well as the Strength, Dexterity and Intelligence pages. Thanks to Essjayehm for the inspiration and direction on how to state it clearly. Hopefully that should clear things up for you Scleameth! Thanks for bringing this to discussion, progress is good.
  3. I simply like using this chart: http://www.sacredwiki.org/index.php5/Sacred_2:Weapons. Essjayehm has the correct list and gives the advice I normally give: Check which Attribute is given "Weapon Damage+" when equipping the weapon. The whole part about the "3 spaces" is incorrect anyways, as the Ice Flash and Quetzal's First Strike both take up only 3 spaces (according to the images found in the Uniques database page), but are both modified by Strength. Edit: My intended point is that there are so many exceptions that we should remove the reference to "3 spaces" entirely, and use a description like Essjayehm's: "Everything except daggers, short swords, mage staffs and blunt polearms."
  4. Nice find Gogo. Very interesting article. And now we start pushing the boundaries: Sacred 3 in 3D!
  5. This looks like an effective build. I have a similar character which works very well. Only two of my Skills are different and it doesn't quite have the items forged that yours does, so yours would probably be much more effective. Have you thought about taking Combat Discipline over Sword Weapons for the general damage boost to all of your CAs? I can't quite remember my evidence right now (even the next day, you still feel the effects of marking final exams), but I think Combat Discipline would boost the efficiency of your character beyond the benefits of Sword Weapons.
  6. On the XBOX version you will not see colors to discern the quality of the items, instead you will see a star system. If the 360 version is the same as the PS3 version, you'll see the colour when the item is still on the ground. The easiest example to see is the blue streak of light from the pouch that drops on the ground which represents a 1 star item, compared to the white streaks of light which are normally present for 0 star items. It's generally hard to discern in a group, but the different colours will stand out sometimes. Think about a cluster of loot in Borderlands in a highly detailed section of the environment.
  7. Actually, I've come close to testing this, but never observed the options... I've gone to level 62 on Silver with a particular character, but never checked (or noticed) whether I could start Gold anyways. Unfortunately, I've already finished the Silver campaign with said character also. That same character is grinding on Gold until past level 100 anyways (the limit within the Orc Cave), so I can check the Gold-Platinum requirement. I also have level 30+s who haven't finished Bronze or Silver as yet (including one which is taking the Hardcore challenge), so I can try with them.
  8. No problem. Actually, the PS3 instruction manual lists the same level requirements for joining/creating a game of certain difficulties as the PC has. However, they have been verified as false many times (I have level 70-someodds who can create Platinum/Niob games, when level 100+/140+ is the requirement according to the instruction manual). Correct, the above speed leveling trick works with offline co-op, as online only allows up to a 10 level deviation from the host's level.
  9. Yes.. If you play single player mode, you need to complete the main quest on each level to unlock the next one up. In Multiplayer mode, you only need to achieve a level (like level 60 to unlock Gold)... See the chart above for more info. Not for the console versions. The only way to unlock the next difficulty is to clear the one before it. Beating Silver unlocks Gold, beating Gold unlocks Platinum, beating Platinum unlocks Niob. There are no level requirements, for single player or multiplayer on the console version. I joined a Niob Free World game hosted by a level 39 character with a level 30 character about a week ago (PS3 version). There can't be any level limits according to difficulty for that to happen. I was shocked to see a Niob Free World game at that level myself, I had to read it twice.
  10. Are you on the 360 version? Are you patched (PS3 or 360 case)? There was one issue brought up a while ago, and the consensus is that the 360 version is glitched in this way, but it might have been solved in the patch. (Source: http://darkmatters.org/forums/index.php?sh...mp;hl=diligent) I'm on the PS3 version and I have my trophies with 223 quests solved, including failed quests (and I got it at exactly 100 and 200 quests solved).
  11. I'll provide support for vaskov's observations. Those coloured streaks seem to correspond to the PC colours. I often see the white, blue and yellow streaks. However, I can only confirm that the white streaks correspond to 0 star items and the Legendary items have orange streaks. After observing those two, I stopped paying attention and took it for granted that the colours were the same as the PC version. I know the blue streak gold pouches have a considerably larger amount of gold than white streak version also. I just don't recall ever seeing a green streak and I don't know if I would be able to pick out the Gold streaks.
  12. I really hate to say this, but this really sounds like it'd be a save file corruption. If the PS3 freezes during a save, that would corrupt the save data for any game (not just Sacred 2). Not being able to make a game with that saved file, as well as crashing other people's servers would be caused by this also. My only suggestion around it is that you could use a back-up file (if you have one). I constantly back-up all of my save files (which aren't locked from copying) to a USB drive, just for a situation like this. You won't be able to get trophies or trade anymore, but at least you'd save some of your work. If it was your internet quality, they would face lag issues until you joined, then they would retain a stable speed while you wouldn't. You would lag out eventually (and probably lag anyone else connected to the server out also), but the host wouldn't see their server crash. Hopefully I'm wrong or you're able to find some fix, but this is what it looks like to me.
  13. The only requirement is being at that point in the storyline that you're supposed to fight them. They won't just be there in Campaign without having progressed to that point in the story. If the gold circle is in one of their areas and they're still not showing up, that's another issue, which is normally solved by saving and reloading the game. Hopefully that helps!
  14. I've seen discussions about this, usually to port Japanese release save data to the North American versions. Unfortunately, I don't recall anyone being able to do it on PS3. Quick searches on Google and Altavista don't produce any hopeful results. Maybe someone's been keeping up with this idea more than I have though and will have a solution.
  15. Yep, I've had it on others also. However, this is the first time I've actually spotted the cause and ran some tests around it. Actually, it's happening even with Reflective Emanation alone. I've tried it with GR, NA and SV on at the same time (in pairs and as a triad) and it doesn't occur with those. As soon as I add RE to the set, the Bonus Overview stops working. I do this constantly with some of my Seraphim builds. I haven't taken the time to figure out which buff is the issue there. However, in this case, no matter how quickly I'm able to scroll, it only allows me to scroll down once (then it locks). Hopefully this will give a little more details for others to be able to test.
  16. I've just stumbled across a small issue on the PS3 version. Would anyone be able to verify that it happens to them also? Also, would someone with the 360 version be able to verify that this happens on that console also? I've noticed that when Reflective Emanation is active, I can't scroll up or down on the Bonus Overview more than once. However, as soon as I take it off, I'm able to again. The same effect is replicating across all of my Shadow Warriors, but not with any of the other buffs. As soon as it's verified, I can place a small note on the Reflective Emanation page. Thanks!
  17. I second what Jurrasicpunk said. The penalty won't be very large, especially with a smaller gap like that which will become more irrelevant as you increase in levels. I ran some tests on a new Campaign on Bronze using a secondary account on my PS3 (offline co-op): Seraphim Level 1 (Solo) - Inquisition Guard Level 1 = 12 XP Seraphim Level 1, Seraphim Level 73 - Inquisition Guard Level 1 = 0 XP (Level 1 Killed) - Inquisition Guard Level 1 = 0 XP (Level 73 Killed) Seraphim Level 1, Shadow Warrior Level 17 - Inquisition Guard Level 1 = 2 XP (Level 1 Killed) - Inquisition Guard Level 1 = 2 XP (Level 17 Killed) Seraphim Level 1, Shadow Warrior Level 12 - Inquisition Guard Level 1 = 3 XP (Level 1 Killed) - Inquisition Guard Level 1 = 3 XP (Level 17 Killed) All helpers received 0 experience. As you can see, no matter who landed the blow, the same penalized experience was granted to the level 1. The experience penalty did have something to do with the level of the helper, but also there is a consideration for the level of the character against the level of the enemy (separate from the level of the helper) as none of the helpers received experience while the level 1 did. This "Character Level vs. Enemy Level" factor is what will cause your level gap to be largely irrelevant as you continue to play (and may allow you to catch up to your girlfriend's character's level over time, especially if you can stack more experience Per Kill than she has). Hope that helps.
  18. Ah, right. I overlooked that aspect. Which new utility is this that allows the transfer though? I haven't noticed it (then again, I haven't had much time to check out anything new on the PS3 lately).
  19. 1) It will count it as a duplicate. You won't be able to trade (or get trophies) with said file. The only way to work around this is to do a full backup of your hard drive (using the Back-Up Utility). Then it will count as an original save file. I confirmed this when I switched my HD to a 500 GB drive (from the 60 GB). 2) Yes you can. When you set up the new account on the system, simply log in to your PSN account instead of creating a new one (there will be an option for specifying that you already have an account). You'll also be able to sync all of your trophies to your new PS3 in this method.
  20. Expanding on what mainrunr said, and taking from experience on the PS3 version only: Weapons are indeed sorted by damage, from highest to lowest. It seems to use the lower limit of the range for the initial sort. If multiple weapons have the same lower limit, it compares the upper limit. Armor are sorted by equip location first (head, body, shoulders, arms, hands, waist, legs, feet, misc or class specific, rings, amulets), then by class (with your current class always being on top, then a default order which I don't remember), then by armor value (highest to lowest again). Amulets and rings are in the general order which you placed them in the box. I don't know what determines "newest to oldest" or "oldest to newest" sorting, as I've seen both, but never with the same character. (One character will always have "oldest to newest" while another character will always have "newest to oldest".) There doesn't seem to be a way to change it unfortunately.
  21. I'd be interested in teaming up. I'm not too sure how much time I'll have immediately, but I can try to get online this weekend. I have a level 73 Seraphim around your level. I also have a bunch of spare Celestial Helms. You can have one, I don't need all of them. My PSN is Mystix123. I'm in the same timezone as you are. Actually, I used to visit Saint-Hyacinthe yearly when relatives lived there. Nice place.
  22. Good idea. Thanks. I hope he doesn't have that turned off like I do. (lol)
  23. Thanks Loco. I can't seem to find an alternate method for contacting him. Hopefully he might see this, otherwise my search for a good freelance 3D graphics designer continues.
  24. Does anyone know if Kaballah can be contacted still? I know he did this back in 2009, so I'm not sure if he frequents any of the forums anymore.
