  1. A little late into this conversation, but I am 322 hours into Valheim and still counting. I finished the main content about 150-160 hours in, and then I started playing with mods (such as the EpicLoot mod). Running vRoid models to replace the characters, a ton of mods to improve the quality of life. Definitely agree with the addiction comments though. I was playing quite frequently at the beginning. Not so much that my life/work suffered, but I definitely slacked on building my side-business (until I got hit with a flood of requests from clients, and then a bunch of new clients found me to add to that flood). Now I'm back to reasonable levels of Valheim and unreasonable levels of work...haha.
  2. So, quick thoughts because I'm on-the-go at the moment: - Gravitation for the CM Bronze mod, as consoles crash if you round up too many enemies. You'll want to hit smaller groups with it (compared to what you could do on the PC version). - I think I took Elongation for LA Bronze mode, but I don't use Levin Array much honestly...see the next point. - CM + LA (or CM + any further Area of Effect generally) will lead to frequent crashing on the console versions of the game. It's a shame, because the CM + LA combo is very fun, but I wouldn't recommend it on the console versions. I stick to CM by itself...and still crash my PS3 every-so-often.
  3. Hmmm. That's weird. I'm also able to download it (but it makes sense as the uploader). Can anyone else try to see if they can download the file please?
  4. As requested by Gogo (and thanks for his help in getting the files uploaded to DarkMatters): These files can now be found hosted in the Downloads section of this forum. http://darkmatters.org/forums/index.php?/files/file/629-kaballahs-seraphim-3d-modelling-files-poser-daz-3d/
  5. 100 downloads

The files to recreate Kaballah's Revelation of the Seraphim model in 3D modelling / animation programs such as Poser and DAZ 3D. http://darkmatters.org/forums/index.php?/topic/9655-revelation-of-the-seraphim-3d-model-poser/
  6. Sure. I'll make a note to do this on Thursday or Friday.
  7. I still have the files (see link below), but I don't remember the instructions for getting them into the Poser or DAZ 3D library (I haven't used them since 2011). https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwJYTQ0QsnCpV0hjUjFIOUVLUGs/
  8. That's a shame. I haven't been returning to Sacred 2 as much as I used to, but I've been frequenting it at least once a month. It's amazing that the game still holds up after 8 years (and that I still haven't gotten any of my current characters to level 200, after deleting my previous one). I played FF11 for the 5 years prior to Sacred 2, but I could never get into FF14 (probably because my time in FF11 has turned me off from any future FF MMO). On the other hand, still playing Blade and Soul (with a controller). I don't know if I can go to any other MMO that doesn't have a technical, action combat system.
  9. I pre-ordered it for PS4. I couldn't justify the limited edition from Squeenix's website though...$250ish CAD was just too much. https://store.na.square-enix.com/product/435171/nier-automata-black-box-edition-ps4
  10. To elaborate on what Lujate stated: Aside from the legal aspect, those mods were never successfully replicated on the PS3 version. In other words, PC to PS3 transfers (similar to the Xbox 360 version) do not exist.
  11. Only a few more hours until we find out exactly how the therapist reacted to Lucifer's reveal. As a side note: I also think that Trixie is going to soften Maze up throughout the season.
  12. Not that he hasn't been funny (his attempt at creating a catch phrase for himself was hilarious), but as the storyline progresses, there's been less opportunity for his antics from Season 1. (And less opportunity for therapy sessions.) I like where they're going with the story though, so I've been watching it...excuse the pun...religiously.
  13. Yep, watching Season 2. This season hasn't been as entertaining as the first, but still good. He hasn't been as snarky as he used to be, but the twists have been interesting.
  14. So, I'm not entirely a fan of Grunwald because of the lag that comes with the area on the PS3 version (not sure what causes it either). Depending on the build that I was using (I've tried a few on the Dryad), it was either the Orc Cave (quick single target kills) or Orc Area (farming hordes, usually using VD). Alternatives to the Orc Area are the Swamp or the Desert, but I don't think I hit those places until 40+. So, ultimately, it comes down to your choice of CAs. In regards to Constitution: If you're getting OHKOed in Gold, then Constitution + Armor Lore will help you survive, especially as the Dryad doesn't get Toughness. Constitution and Armor Lore sync well with AB and GT. If you play online, add me on the PSN. I still play every-so-often (usually offline though).
  15. Lujate: I know the feeling. I started a Warlock with some friends, and I found the lower levels very limited. Playstyles aren't fully realized until 25-30 (when you have a sufficient amount of mod points for your skills, which can alter them drastically...very similar to Sacred 2, but you have to wait a little bit longer to create a build that suits your playstyle). I play a Blade Master as my main (tank), and it plays similar to the first Devil May Cry (only with more options for animation cancelling, which were around in DMC also, but not as many options). I abandoned my Force Master pretty early on too, because it just wasn't as exciting as the close-combat. I recently created a new one though, as I've come across some Force Masters who were great at tanking (which you're not supposed to do with a Force Master), so I'm going to give that a shot. The flicker on your laptop...I'm not sure what could be causing that. Wild guess that it's something between BnS and your graphics card. It may have been addressed with some of the new patches though. Gogo: It's 3D, but done in a Korean animation style. I can see where the trailer gives the impression of a mix of 2D and 3D, but it's purely a 3D action game. It plays well online, assuming you have a stable connection. The NA servers are in Texas. I'm using TekSavvy (on Bell's DSL network) and have very little lag in most areas.
  16. Anyone else watching Season 2? It's sparked the wrestling fan-boy in me (and I gave up on wrestling completely). These guys are insane...it's like watching an action movie every week.
  17. I found it hilarious to see Lucifer in psychotherapy...but that's maybe because I'm a Psychologist...haha! The twists throughout the first season were interesting and kept me engaged (and that's hard to do these days). I set aside time for only Lucifer, Empire and Lucha Underground. Looking forward to the second season.
  18. Anyone else playing Blade and Soul (hereby "BnS") these days? I've been jumping between BnS, The Division and Sacred 2, though most of my gaming time (however little) is spent with BnS...mainly because I have it on my laptop (so I can play it wherever I happen to be). I use a PS4 controller (with InputMapper) and it plays really smoothly.
  19. The quickest speedrun that I can think of is a Shadow Veiled Shadow Warrior on the Dark campaign. I didn't intentionally attempt to make it a speed run though...that's just how it worked out. My character went with Skeletal Fortification and Frenzied Rampage, with high level sockets to add Attack Value+ (to land hits with Frenzied Rampage) and Damage+ (for both CAs). Unfortunately, I have neither a guide or a video for this speed run, but I can post the build if you think it might help. Another alternative is the BFG Seraphim. Run by normal mobs and melt bosses with the BFG. A good amount of the strategies from the PC version will work on the console version still, but it's best to look for strategies from the vanilla Sacred 2. As for game mechanics to speed up the run: - Use abilities like Assailing Somersault or Shadow Step to move through fences or jump down hills which you would have had to run around otherwise. - Think ahead with the Portals and Resurrection Monoliths. For example (assuming you are starting a fresh character), when travelling to the Octagolamus, flag the Resurrection Monolith near it. When you return to Za'Zuruik to turn in the quest (and then have to travel to Blulutuz), you can use the Monolith to cut out a portion of the travel time. Two quick misc points from Dorimil and Lujate's posts: Console version can start directly in Silver also. Local co-op removes the level gap limit, though online enforces it. So, it's possible to have a level 200 character guide a level 1 character through the game (and quite a challenge to control two characters at the same time...haha).
  20. Unfortunately, this may only apply to PC (not to the console versions), or if it does exist, may be bugged in the console version. There are a number of calculation bugs which makes high end loot a little harder to come by on the console version, as mentioned by lujate. For example, the bonus to your "chance to find valuables" from having 100% of the map revealed is not ~+25% like it is in the PC version, but instead ~+2.5%. I've been playing the PS3 version since release and have never had a 4-star item drop (except for those which are quest rewards). Your best options to increasing the drop rate are Survival Bonus, Chance to Find Valuables and Enhanced Perception. In regards to the Orc Cave: You'll need to farm for more than 30 mins to an hour to find loot which are potential upgrades. I'll usually see a few good (2 or 3 star) drops in a 2+ hour farming session, but it's not often that the particular piece will be better than my existing gear across any of my 10 characters. However, if you're using 3-star items, you're more likely to find an upgrade much more easily (a higher level version of the same piece).
  21. Each region has a minimum and maximum level range for each difficulty. Eventually you will reach a point where enemies (including bosses) will stop levelling, and you'll need to switch to a higher difficulty if you want them to level up further. This information can be found here: http://www.sacredwiki.org/index.php5?title=Sacred_2:Enemy_Levels Additionally, the last bosses should have roughly these level limits (these are from vanilla Sacred 2, not sure if this remains with I&B): Difficulty Minimum Level Maximum Level Bronze 26 40-41 Silver 26 75-76 Gold 66 120-121 Platinum 96 160-161 Niob 136 215-216
  22. Unfortunately, grad school often means moving away, especially if there's a particular program which you have in mind. My Bachelors was technically in Artificial Intelligence, so my options were to move to British Columbia for grad school, or switch to Cognitive Psychology. Also, even in a city with 3 major universities, it's uncommon for someone to stay in Toronto for their graduate studies. I attended a university 2 hours west of Toronto for my Master's, then another 2 hours east of Toronto for my time in Ph.D. My two pieces of general advice for any Psych grad student considering their life beyond grad school: Master's helps with the job hunt, but the Doctorate is only useful if you plan on becoming a professor. I had a handful of interviews and 2 offers within 6 months of the job hunt, while friends with their their Ph.D. haven't gotten a job offer in over a year. If you intend on searching for a job after grad studies (and not pursuing academia), then try to find a program with internship opportunities. Also, try to develop other skills in the meanwhile (such as programming). These skills will help greatly your marketability in the job hunt. The friends who have been in the job search for over a year lack marketable skills, and can only lead with the statement "I have a Ph.D." Some of this advice probably applies to fields outside of Psych, but I can only attest to this being the current state of the market in relation to Psych jobs.
  23. "Thinking of going back to school but I've always hated it." Depending on the program, sounds like you'd fit in with graduate studies. I have a Master's in Cognitive Psychology, moved to another university for the Ph.D. (but ultimately left before finishing). Since this post, more details have actually come out surrounding the situation with my former advisor (more unethical behaviour was revealed to me when I saw another professor at a conference), and he even had the nerve to ask for my help on a publication for his "Golden Child". (To this day, I'm not sure what answer he was expecting outside of a flurry of profanity.) My advice would be to consider your goals and which degree (Master's or Ph.D.) will help you achieve those goals much more easily. There are many cases where only having a Master's makes the job hunt much easier than the Doctorate would. Which program(s) are you looking at going into?
  24. I still play offline frequently, online every-so-often. PSN: Mystix123
