  1. It is fully functional. Thanks for looking into this!
  2. Wow, YouTube takes forever to upload sometimes. Got the SW updated videos up. These are the videos which have been completely overhauled: I just realized that all of my SW recordings have been against Kobolds. Poor things. Any input for tweaks? Are there any weapons in any of the videos which you feel exemplifies the CA better (thus should be moved earlier in the video)? I'm planning on moving the last scene from the Scything Sweep video to become the first scene (before changing the videos on the Wiki itself), so now would be a good time to suggest further tweaks (while I'm in the editing phase).
  3. No problem. Thanks for looking into it!
  4. PvP isn't a huge focus for the console versions. Beyond a certain level, PvP battles become endless. The only real use that I've seen for PvP (aside from trolling people who join) is to give some method of enforcing the host's definition of teamwork. For example, I've played on some Free World PvP servers where the host and their friend have ganged up on people who didn't stick with the group, effectively resetting that person's survival bonus (as a death in PvP counts as a normal death). I never host Free World PvP. Always Campaign or Free World, depending on what the we're looking to do that session. Public or Private is usually up to group concession (which turns out to be private games 95% of the time).
  5. Just a heads up with Free World in couch co-op: Experience points are not shared between the players. Whatever you kill, you'll get experience for, while your wife won't (and vice versa). This is why I tend to stick to Campaign for couch co-op. I have a character or two around your HE's level. I also tend to do some boss runs on Gold (level 45ish characters) with my cousin on Friday evenings (EST). Add me on the PSN if you're interested in playing online (if/when I get the chance to jump online...that's usually Friday nights).
  6. Hi Elwynn. Welcome to DarkMatters! Good to see another PS3 player around. What level characters do you have currently?
  7. I've seen compiled lists floating around on GameFAQs (for the console versions), which led to this: http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps3/949630-sacred-2-fallen-angel/faqs/56748 Unfortunately, this only covers the console version. It might take a mini-project to cover anything new from I&B and the CM patch.
  8. Hi Schot. Has the Upload File function (for uploading images) been restored as yet? I'm not finding it in the toolbox section of the sidebar, but perhaps it has moved elsewhere. Thanks!
  9. Interesting. Is there controller support? I don't think I could get used to a mouse+keyboard style for a game like this (especially after 600+ hours of Monster Hunter).
  10. Hi Colton. You do point out a good issue with my original videos (especially for the Area of Effect CAs), and I always felt that some of the videos were lacking (Demonic Blow always bugged me). I've already created new videos for the weapon-based CAs, in the style which I did the Pelting Strikes and Assailing Somersault videos (to show different scenarios and different weapons), but I was waiting for the Wiki to be restored. I've also finished all of the videos which show the modifications to CAs (such as Flaring Nova's Impulse modifier). I'll be uploading and changing those before August 6th (as that's when Dragon's Crown comes out, so I'll be busy with that). If you feel that the new video doesn't quite capture the feeling of each CA, then I'd support a replacement. For the time being though, I have spent many hours on the new videos, so I'd like those to have a chance first. Thanks for the support! Edit: If you would like to contribute Dragon Mage videos, that would be greatly appreciated. As I am on the PS3 version, I can't actually make videos for the Dragon Mage.
  11. On topic: Huzzah! SacredWiki reclaims the throne. I also noticed the sidebar is smaller than it used to be, but I'm used to using the links on the main page anyways. Off topic: I hope it wasn't boarded up with plywood... We have to think about the resale value! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RcL6DwSufMI
  12. Huzzah! Job well done Schot. You are now awarded a Master's in PHP and a Doctorate in Wiki Restoration from the school built in Thylysium. I did a few edits, so everything looks to be in good shape.
  13. Your plan makes sense, and sounds like a very good direction to proceed in. Best of luck with the tests today Schot!
  14. Finally got them uploaded online. If anyone plays Saints Row 3 (on any platform), I can make the character available to the public and you can download it (via the Character Gallery).
  15. I don't think there's any explicit references to Sacred 2 in Saints Row 3. This is a character that I've created, in the image of the box-art Seraphim, using the highly detailed character customization system already available in the game. Within the customization, there are also options for solid colour eyes. The face-paint is actually an option called "Gothic Eyes" (or something similar) under Eyeshadow, so it's not quite the full face-paint of the Seraphim, but enough to see the reference. The only thing that's missing is an outfit which matches any of the Seraphim clothing. It might be possible to create something close to the Niokaste's set, or some variant of the Revelation of the Seraphim set, but I haven't had a chance to explore that avenue. I've come across one or two people online who have recognized the reference which I've created (though they don't play Sacred 2 anymore), so it seems that the Seraphim is a highly recognizable figure overall. However, this seems to be the only attempt to actually create the character in SR3.
  16. I've been playing quite a bit of Saints Row 3 lately, and noticed that it would almost be feasible to create a Seraphim look-alike. Below are images of my attempts. Keep in mind that I'm on the PS3 version, so I'm restricted to the options available within the game (no mods). I was surprised that I was able to get something this close to the character. Unfortunately, there are no wings which can be used by playable characters (though NPCs walk around with angel costumes). I have 2 versions: The box-art white haired Seraphim and traditional blonde haired version. The white suit is inspired by the Revelations of the Seraphim colour scheme, while the black suit is inspired by the black/red standard armor palette swap.
  17. They've also ripped my videos (and Combat Art ones) which I've only given the rights to SacredWiki for. I'll file a separate DMCA with Wikia when you guys have filed yours. Please let me know when you've done that. Edit: Actually, it does fall under the domain of SacredWiki, so I think your request should be sufficient for having it removed also.
  18. If you could use a short-term boost in defense, I'd go with Armor Lore first. (This seems like the best first choice overall.) Take Tactics Lore second, unless you could use a short-term boost in damage. If so, then Tactics Lore first (and Armor Lore second). Go with Constitution last.
  19. The biggest bug for TG is the Jolting Touch bug (where the Silver mod "Self Repair" heals the enemies instead of the player). I can't think of anything else off of the top of my head though.
  20. Hey Artbox. Welcome back to Sacred 2. I posted a reply on GameFAQs already (regarding storage chest tips), so I'll copy and paste those here: - I find that the chest fills up quickly with Runes. If you're making a High Elf, then Grand Invigoration solves this problem quickly. - If you can identify classes that you don't enjoy, then you can forget about equipment for those classes. - If you know how you're going to build your characters, you can keep equipment which will be useful to them and sell everything else. As for which class to restart with: Which class do you remember liking the most? A good tank would be the Seraphim (Exalted Warrior and Revered Technology Aspects in the build) or the Shadow Warrior (Death Warrior and Malevolent Champion Aspects in the build). Wiki is down at the moment. Temporary link: http://web.archive.org/web/20120621000156/http://www.sacredwiki.org/index.php5/Sacred_2:Fallen_Angel
  21. That information applies to the console versions of the game, where you can socket high level rings, amulets and blacksmith arts (Whet, Anneal and Enhance) into low level armor, without affecting the level of the armor. However, in the PC version, it will change the level of the armor. I believe (a PC player may want to correct me on this one) the "Bargaining Network" is required to support new characters. In this scenario, you have multiple characters with Bargaining at different levels, so that new characters are always supported by a different Bargainer as they level up.
  22. Spell Resistance stat: I think Blaar had it right. "I was also thinking on do *will* for some spell resistance later on?" (I interpreted "will" as "Willpower".) Points into Willpower will also increase Divine Protection's shield HP pool for sure, but I can't remember if Warding Energy's shield HP pool is increased by Willpower also. Issue #2 (character running around randomly when using a CA): On the console version, I normally break this by mashing a normal attack (by pressing the same button that the CA is set to repeatedly) or another CA. Both commands force a re-target, which breaks the random running around quicker. This solution might work the same on PC also, though I can't say from experience.
  23. I've noticed the same thing. I had a bag of red delicious in the fridge for weeks, and they were only a little soft by the time I finished all of them. Needless to say, I was a little surprised. It didn't stop me from eating them though...
  24. It's "poutine" on top of the cake. The fries are cut pieces of cake, the gravy is dark caramel sauce and the cheese curds are clumps of whipped cream.
