That picture does look cool, but its hard to tell how the game will actually look like. For me personally, I hope they stay away from the cartoonish style, it suits the side scroller well, but for an ARPG it won't work.

This might sound stupid but where are you going to check if the "All Skills +X" is taking affect? You have to go to Overview, then press R1, to bring up the Additional Bonus window.

A bow will always have more damage. But with a shield you can always socket more deathblow, and it gives you armour. I guess it comes down to personal preferance. I would go with a bow though. It looks much more cooler IMO.

or you can find a bow/blow pipe with a good amount of sockets and forge rings with deathblow into them.

I figured out a way to get more double shots out of the BFG gun.I play on the PS3, so im not sure if this works on the Xbox. Equip BFG on X and pelting strikes(or soul hammer,doesnt matter) on circle Constantly tap the two buttons FAST in this pattern X O X O X O ..... ( I place my index finger on X and middle finger on O) Almost every shot is a double shot. With this technique you will be killing bosses 2x faster. Note: The button configuration doesnt matter. You can have the BFG on square and pelting strikes on X. Always press the BFG first, then the Combat Art.

I'm getting that same error even after installing python. I think I have a version slightly higher than 2.6 though and I am running windows 7. I am still having trouble even drawing a line...lol After installing python 2.6, blender started to work 100%. So I would suggest maybe try installing 2.6?

Really nice guide. Im going to use this method and make a simple calculator in python. I didnt expect that there was so much work to be done, before actually starting to write the program. Man I can already see myself going crazy once I start this at school , and its 6 months away!

That really sucks man,it real bummer to see your hard work go down the drain. How are you turning off your PS3? Are you turning it off from the back? Or are you holding the XMB button and selecting "Turn Off System"?

I was fooling around with this program a few months ago. Its pretty complicated. But after folowing a tutorial I made a small and simple game, was pretty fun.

Thanks for all the info guys! I got a lot of reading on my hands. @Schot: The program only starts in the next Autumn semester, so that leaves me with 6 months to learn some programming on my own. I apologize for not explaining myself in my first post. But for the January semester coming up, I will be trying to get in a Java Beginner or HTML Beginner class. So if I get in to one of those classes, I will post my projects. @Nihilith: I think I will be starting off with Python. If you dont mind, can you lead me in the right direction on how to get started? I noticed I have python 2.2, is there a way to update to get to 2.5?

In my next semester of school I will be starting my new program of "computer programming" I was wondering if anyone can recommend where should I start off to get a general idea of programming. What is a language for a beginner to start off with? Also, If anyone knows any good websites or books on languages such as HTML, Java or C++ ( these are a few of the many languages I will be learning in the program), I would gladly appreciate it. Im not sure if you are going to the right place to see if they are actually working. You have to go to Overview, then press the button for additional bonuses, it should bring up another window on the side.

What does a defrag program do? Ive never done it before shoudl I start doing it to my computer?

Avast anti virus, I use it on 2 of my computers. It was rated the best free anti virus program out there. You can buy the professional version, but they offer a GREAT free version. Take note its not a trial so you have it for life. It constantly updates its self and it is always scanning your computer. I highly recommend it.

Its not the server. Its who ever hosted the game. If his connection is bad,you will lag. I think your connection also plays some sort of role too. Are you on wireless? If you dont want to have any lag, you should create the game. Ive played in games where there wasn't any lag at all, just have to look for the right game.

Small annoying bug. Turn on Battle Stance Go to Overview, Click the button to view additional details. You can see the first page, but it doesnt allow you to scroll down. If you turn off Battle Stance. Go back to additional detals, you are able to view all pages.

I dont play sacred 2 on PC (yet) but maybe you can try updating your graphics card.

I think split screen is the way to go for this type of game. As for sharing experience, I have no problem with that, me and my brother both get the experience.
