chattius 2,536
Brew -> Eisbock Water freezes earlier than alcohol. So by cooling beer and filtering away the water/ice you can boost the taste and alcohol concentration. There was a battle for the highest concentration of alcohol but anything above 57% has yez to proof that it is made just my brewing and cooling and not by mixing. I think a real Eisbock with around 13% is the highest I would go if taste matters. Die Rangliste des stärkste Bier der Welt 32 % Vol. Alk. Schorschbock, Schorschbräu, Deutschland 40 % Vol. Alk.
