The list at Wikki itself has actually got links to all of the movies on their list. And the cool thing is that this list is adjusted for old school dollars.

Super Cool list and definitely one of the more interesting ways of making a hit list for movies

I thought it was Titanic so I'm off by 2. Anyway I don't know if Waterworld is still the worst movie pluff of all time because it was listed in the Guiness Book of World Records a few years ago.

The grapevine always informed me that E.T. was the most expensive movie ever made until Terminator 2 came along... then last I heard was Spiderman 2....

So I'm only off by... err not even on the list ? :Just_Cuz_21:

shouldn't any of the LoTR movies be there :) and what is The Perfect Storm doing there :) That wasn't such a killer moive... I never realized how many tears and soppy goodbyes went into a can of tuna before gnawing my wrists watching that movie... :paladin:

T3 - it's Terminator ! Aaaaaaanold rocks !

X-Men: Last stand - it's X-Men ! 'nuff said

Spider-Man 2 - it's Spider-Man ! Web swinging action & Doc Oc... gotta luv it !

Superman returns - it's Superman !! wait... I'll refrase... : IT'S SUPERMAN !!

4 reasons to looooove these movies, no matter what the plot is like... I sincerely hope you regret your statement after standing in the corner for 15mins.. :paladin::drool:

I've stood in the corner and heres what I got....

I do agree that Superman, The X-men (Go Gambit), and Spiderman are great characters from legendary stories!

But how can you clearly get a story line from the "tattered" shreds of GREAT comics in 2nd rate Hollywood rip offs. Admittidly, Hollywood would have a hard time fitting 10,000,000 hours of reading into a 2 hour movie. (No I'm not slow at reading; there's just that many comics)

The over use of CGI (...while amazing) take away from the humble beginnings of these wonderful comics. These newer movies glorify violence with graphic scenes focussed on the GORE FACTOR and distort the family values and old time charm the original comics portray!

Now don't get me wrong! I love movies! but with directors and producers pushing this dribble on the unsuspecting youth makes me sick.

What ever happened to the artistic integrity of film. I find it hard now to push myself to watch this crap churned out of these factories, not unlike like the merchandise that follows.

What ever happened to the classics like The guns of Navarro, Trainspotting, Pulp Fiction & The Goonies!

Movies that had something to say, and had great story lines to boot!

I agree with all you have to say... There's so many more people with the same point of view and we're all stuck with the Hollywood rip offs... but it's all we're gonna get as far as real life action is concerned. I'd still then rather get the freeky actors (some of whom never even read comics ! :paladin: ) and bad humor than nothing at all ?

I must say that it's sad when a movie does not live up to all the hype created before hand, so let's keep our fingers crossed for Ghost Rider, Silver Surfer, Transformers and Spider-Man 3 :Just_Cuz_21:

Having said the above, I still liked the movies (and will buy all the DVDs) just because of the idea of real life super heroes... oh and let's not forget Aaaaaaanold !

Ok you are bouth right in some and wrong in other things.

Ubersolider:Movies like Navarro, Trainspotting, Pulp Fiction and The Goonies are still out there in one way or a nother. They are original way of making movies and they are just that. There can be no others like them same for does that tray to do things in there own way wich is new and can suprose us and take us out of the standard.

Allsaw Spider-Man 2 and Superman returns were great they keep to what works and give us the good old relax have fun and on top of that a cool back story

Scleameth:

T3 an X-Men: Last stand - dont have a clue and should be deleted from history. they give us great fights and that is all they give. No story no plot nothing. They are like a 40min episode from a SF show that you watch once a week.

For the upcoming movies Scleameth the best thing you can do is keep an open mind. Dont expect anything dont think how cool things were and you may be plesently suprised.

That is what I am doing with Transformers. :Just_Cuz_21:
