Very polished looks Very comprehensive An unbelievabley cool, intuitive and VERY poweful RACE editor. Then you go out and eat other peeps with yer race build a civilization build technologies Go out into space where you then meet OTHER people's populated races with their own unique races and creatures! Fight em or make friends, the choice is yours. The online version of this game will be huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge every adversary you meet will be other peep's creations in a universe populated by hundreds of thousands! G'bye ogame? gbye black and white? gbye every other rts that exists out there? hold on, spore isn't just an rts.... it's also almost everything else we can come to conceive of in a game! The thing I'd like to know is, will it be an online game too, simply one player? Or both modes? That would be aweeeesome... I'll show it around as soon as I have played it a bit to see if others are interested. Local E-Bay Games store doesn't know when it's coming out, will check the site. http://www.spore.com/ Maxis game by electronic arts announced for the 3rd semester of 2007. Schot has shown me some quotes about people saying that we won't actually be able to go online and grab other people's rez from their planets a la ogame style... h"e saying that it will just be a sp game with creature catalogues, cityes and environments which will be people with other peope's creations that we can choose from. My take on thnis is... The money's always been in mp..and tah'ts waht really makes games last a loooong time. I"M hoping that Schot is wrong and my conjecture on this is correct And that they do, indeed, find a way to bring spore to the stars... and let us carve pieces out of each other... heh, a la ogame oh dear see what ogame's done ta me /rolleyes gogo Link to comment

Though I have some doubts about whether or not this game is going to be that great in MP. My vision of it was that we'd get to be able to go to other people's planets online and steal their most valuable resource... their population's DNA and add it to our own. muhahahah.... pretty neat /creepy/spooky huh? ^^ But...I'm not sure at all that this is the case now, I'm thinking it's mostly a single player platform...with only a few mp options.
