llama, I just read the changes for EP... fantastic news! lol, been a bit out of the EP loop lately, but now I really wanna see what it can do. I've got a lot of time today, so I'm gonna resize all the unique weapon pic stats in the wiki so that messy edge along the right as you read down the page dissapears. The Combat Alert does not seem to be increaseing my chance to hit for the pistol I have placed within my socket ...I check this by using the "C" key. I can socket lots of Attack in my sockets and can easily shoot up my chance to hit. But Combat Alert, while it will increase my def percentage is not increaseing my chance to hit with ranged. Is there something I'm not doing? Is it because I'm still at the point where I've picked no mods for this CA yet, that it's not affecting my pistol's chance to hit? gogo

that would be the servers who are at 2.34.2, our copies are at 2.34.0 so don't try to find a patch from 2.34.0 to 2.34.2. Thanks Arp gogo

I"m with the others here, bhall238, in agreeing that there's really no geographical area that will be better than any others unless it has monsters spawning with enough champs to perhaps raise our chances a bit. I know that in Sacred , we'd all do the orc cave over and over again because it had such a high concentration of Orc Champs in those little corners. The drops were fantastic, and I'm always looking for areas that can kind of come close to that in Sacred 2. I've always thought it was always related to the specific enemies we battled rather than any particular area we tried to farm. When you create your toon online first time, you can add the clan tag [D.a.r.k] at the beginning of your name and VERY important this...make sure you click upon the red skull down at the bottom of the character creation page. If the skull "glows" it means you have successfully created a HC toon and will be able to join up with us in the servers. You'll also need to update the game to the latest patches to join up with us online...I think we're at 2.34.2?

Areperum, I have to say that the ladder lately has been very very frustrating. It's what got me going actually to take the toon up to Niob...and for the last few days no updates have been happening, in fact, after that small flurry of almost constant real time updates... nada Does anyone know if it's broken? gogo

No worries, Kaiden. You can add what you find, this way at least your findings are documented. We can always work on the managing of the content after. The wiki's open to everyone and the entire community, all of it's pages are open to contributors. Have fun. gogo

Kaiden, this is excellent...and welcome to DarkMatters! Ayup, I think the debate on what an Easter Egg is or isn't is going to go on forever...but having all the references documented never hurts. Since you're a member here on this site, you'll find that you can actually make edits to the Wiki already. Just log into the wiki with the same login name and password as you use here at DarkMatters, and you can press edit at the top of this page here on the wiki: http://www.sacredwiki.org/index.php5/Sacred_2:Easter_Eggs Copy and paste everything you find there, and one of us (or even you if you have time ) can always come along later and add some polish or edits. Wiki coding is a snap, just look at the code of how someone else did it and you can just do it that way. I find getting runes in this game so much easier than in Sacred 2 where if you used or had too many stashed, your drops would get smaller regarding runes. I've got a bunch of runes up in Plat now, and can easily send them down to anyone that wants... though, I think the level of the runes, which actually scales in Sacred 2 unlike Sacred, could be a bit of a hindrance? gogo

heh, Coruskane, was wondernig about that myself. And...dom dom dom dom...I've made level 128...and am slowly slogging my way up to Niob. I'll probably park my toon when I get there, and have fun with all my lower level toons where most of the community is playing. Put, saw your Dryad getting up to the top as well... I'm just trying to keep the discipline to keep up the leveling... must...advance... must...advance... And Viper...wow... those levels are going on fast... Good job! gogo

It takes a while to get used to it. I'll be really honest here and say I hated the game when I first got it I had to soldier through though, and with Brad here, I guess I had an advantage with someone always having an answer for me when I would yell out how I didn't like the lag, hated the switching delay, thought the tree was stupid, hated the fact that I had to have a certain of skills before choosing another one...lol, I could post for a long gime But...after a few weeks, and when my first toon finally made it to level 50...I was hooked. I'm still playing more than three hours daily, and I've done weekends with more than 22 hours...but don't tell my work that. Timo, if you're looking for friends to help you get your mojo back, you can always find me on msn, and Gial, same for you. One of the best things I've found about playing this game is the amazing times I'm having all the time on msn with Zinsho and Putrescine. I love being able to bounce build ideas off these two, and I wish there could be a way for all of us to get in on that. Gial, I'm so sad that you have the American Servers I know that Ascaron is working on getting a merge happening, but me and Brad are trying very hard to get all of our members back together on the EU servers and we're slowly having things happening. For me, playing with friends always makes the game for me. I like what you have to say about backgrounds and images...but did you know I've almost got them completely turned to low most times simply because of that extra little "edge" it seems to give me when I'm playing? And ayup...the cam takes a while to get used to...I was screaming blue murder cuz I felt like someone was making me play the game with a helmet over my head. Brad's got an awesome guide somewhere around here with fiddling with camera settings. That for me all of a sudden was like a replay of the scene from The Wizard of Oz when Dorothy steps into a technicolor world. Click and forward to the bug bite ^^ And yes... SO many keyboard keys to use...but after a while...it becomes totally second nature, and you won't even notice you're using them. I pretty much only use forward, right left and my mouse... plus "Q" for picking up stuff.... most of all my levels are done that way, and mouse control over the camera gets to be great with Schot's guide. Guild Wars, Requiem...all fun and good...but ONLY because I was playing with everyone from here. Lots of games to buy and be dazzled by. But none of them except Sacred 2 comes packaged with all of you guys, my friends. If I could offer some small advice, it's to stick it out for a few weeks, try hard to get a toon to level fifty at least. Getting all your skills in all of a sudden "clicks" a build, and from there you'll be looking for bug spray, cuz when the Sacred 2 bug bites, it bites hard. Keep the faith! gogo
