  1. I like it. Nicely done. There is something about the armor that reminds me of ....... uhg... tip of my tongue, can't remember the book......
  2. Welcome to DarkMatters. I can help...... what are you looking for? A pure caster Dragon mage is really exactly what he is built for. I have a level 142 Dragon mage on the HC Closed-Net servers. There are many ways you can build him. I found a hybrid dual aspect is the best. Dragon Magic focus and Lore for the buff and Dragon Strike. Constitution, Armor Lore, Toughness, Concentration, Combat Discipline, Spell Resistance. These are the Skills that I deem the most worthy. And have gotten me to level 142 and I have always pushed the boundaries of safety when I play. Then the choice of Elemental Magic or Mentalist is where you need to choose. I have done both. My Draaken is a Mentalist but I still use unmodified Elemental Combat Arts.
  3. Hey hey no worries. I'm thrilled that both Scott and I could help. Now then.... I didn't notice before but..... Welcome to the forum!
  4. Nicely answered essjayehm, Not far off from what I would say. I'll do as you did but in Gold. Hope that helps ya. Have fun with it!
  5. Just missed ya. I'm on for awhile... nap went too long so I'll be up all night.
  6. We had this dicussion awhile back.... I just found the thread and read thru it. Start with this to get an Open net server going. From locolagarto
  7. I'll be in for awhile.... at least until the urge for a nap hits me. I made it a couple hours..... nap time.... I'll be back!
  8. Magic find is at 14% and SB is near 50%. I attribute the drops I've been getting to the "Lucky/Unlucky" theory.
  9. Welcome Lujate. Hope I can run into you tomorrow.... errr today.
  10. Just found a new axe from the Treasure Chests below the Invisible Labrinth!
  11. Going in HC Closed net. Near level 40 I think with my "No Buff" No Aspect lore focus build.
  12. Totally welcome, as for dual wield instead of Sword Lore its totally doable. The attack speed with Dual Wield and Frenzied Rampage is crazy fast. Actually any weapon skill is great, the trick is to get it to mastery for the benefits and attack speeds it will provide.
  13. Yessir, that will usually do it. Something wierd happens and you can't seem to make sense of it.... restart.
  14. hey hey glad to hear your interest. For runes right off the bat you can eat as many as you want for Rousing Command, Ruinous Onslaught, and Killing Spree. For the rest of the combat arts you can keep them at a low number initially till near level 50-75. Or once you start finding/shopping for Regen per Hit you can eat runes to keep the regen time of the eaten runes close to the animation speed and the amount of RpH you have socketed. In other words eat as many "mini-buff" runes possible at any time. Everything else stays at one rune until Armor Lore is at least Mastered.
  15. I think your build should work out just fine, get the armor lore and toughness to mastery as soon as ya can. Both for the protection and the regen times on spells, since you didn't take any aspect focus. Also the staff lore is not a bad idea. Since it will shoot ranged just add a bit of regen per hit and that will cycle you spells faster.
  16. Well well, update time. Fourth month is coming up, I have cut down the drinking by near 85-90%. Have lost almost 30 lbs. I found a really good gym to go to and have started very very slowly. Basically just going through the motions of lifting with very minimal weight. Wow am I out of shape. I guess I have this coming to me for sitting on my arse for the last 2 years only lifting a finger to play Sacred. Bonus from the gym and a new co-worker that goes to the same gym, is a social life is beginning to sprout. My buddies wife has started a list of her friends for "Matchmaking". First date hasn't happened yet, she says I have to trim my beard down first. I guess a Goatee near 4 inches long is a bit much.
  17. Hey hey, I did it! It's been one year smoke free and I feel great. I can breathe and am not choking or coughing to death Sense of smell has been so acute that I have to be careful working around certain coworkers. Actually had to ask one of the office ladies to step back a few feet as I could not concentrate on the task because she smelled so very good, I'm thinking its a conspiracy the ladies do to get guys to easily do their bidding. I just couldn't say no. Even if I had wanted to. @Knuckles, how is your endeavor going?
  18. Sorry I have been such a slacker of late, haven't even played the last three weeks. Anyway I do have a level 142/143 Dual Aspect Dragon Mage in HC Closed net. I have been meaning to do a write-up on him but recently have started to change my life around instead of playing Sacred 24/7 After playing a good 5-6 triple aspect builds and not feeling comfortable to push on to niob I tryed just a dual aspect build. and that was the perfect ticket. I've been working 6-7 days a week since October except for 3 week off for surgery, I have this entire weekend off so I might be able to get started on a write-up for him.
  19. Welcome to the Forum! Hope you have a smurfly good time here. Have any questions at all don't hesitate to smurf us.
  20. Hey hey, no worries. you can install the CM-Patch and use your existing toons no problem. The issue that you might be referring to is when you take a toon that has CM-Patch equipment and then disable the CM-Patch and try playing again. What happens is that you will lose the CM-Patch equipment. So what I do is export my HC toons, install the CM-Patch, Play on LAN. When I get the urge to, I will disable the CM-Patch and play on HC closed net. I will not enter a LAN game unless the CM-Patch is reactivated.
