it is indeed starting to look less and less appealing, even though I haven't researched everything yet, and I plan on doing at least that. it's friggin 0.1.8 and they're tryin to get money ... they didn't even fix the language bugs or made any progress in the real game yet, this kinda blows... well .. I'm not givving up yet .. but I'm starting to wonder if this is a fun game to keep playing after researching everything.

best u put it in vac mode and come out of it every other week or so , I don't know the babysit rules here yet but if I doubt we can just take over your account for a few days, ip checks etc.

oh man ... even thouhg I only have 4 or 5 vids there this totally blows.. this is put in for 2 reasons, sincerity and for possible future alliances with clans who uphold those same basics, ( some even require them to even consider an alliance like WNx) the code of honour To me is nothing more then a basic principal which should never be broken, nor do I expect it to be, but you have to make a statement about it. if by scripts you mean tools to calculate attack times and attack power for certain units like Speedsim or phalanx timer for Ogame, no they are not illegal ( maybe the word tools isn't right ) I was talking about Programs that run the show for you. I'm not aware of such programs for ikariam nor am I aware of such programs in Ogame but imagine a tool where it will send a fleet away 30 seconds before it might get hit and then recalls that same fleet after the hit was done, I consider THAT a Bot and thus illegal. Calculating programs do nothing more then use the basic mathematics of a game, they don't change the game itself. the other things seem pretty clearcut to me, scamming is not repaying someone who send u a FECAL MATTER!load of goods Cheating is amongst other things.. setting up a second account on the same server to act like anything from a free farm to a nice espionage base without the other player knowing he is not playin that character but somebody else alltogether etc. etc. the use of exploits ( if any but there's bound to be a couple cuz it is still beta ) should also be forbidden.. instead of misusing an exploit you report is both here and on the Ikariam website. I think loyalty speaks for itself

While I like asking them to visit the forum and get to know us, I strenuously object to mandatory posting rules. Mandatory posting frankly is one reason I never joined DA or WNx. We start imposing too many rules and I'll defect. hmmkay wouldn't want that to happen, though I think it would be logical they join the forum, if for nothing else then the trading and open discussion here's the revised version changed mandatory into preffered and slightly altered the tone of the sentence, let me know if anything else comes up. I won't put it up untill we decided on a name anyway and till LLama8 returns.

What is the use of playing HardCore then? the pride of staying alive in a hostile environment without the possibility to just continu after you're death. Getting to level 216 in softcore is easy .. you just need to play a lot. getting to level 216 in hardcore is not.

Most ppl here play only closed internet Hardcore, and time is not really an issue because whenever I get online there are more players online. more people in a server means more xp per kill but it also raises the possible amount of lag. Closed internet is different from open internet for 2 reasons, firstly you can only start from level 1 and work your way up to silver gold etc. secondly you can not import a level 50 character into closed internet because your character is saved on the ascaron servers. in open internet you Can import a character from your pc and play from level 50 and up. to play closed internet Hardcore ( meaning when you die you HAVE to start over ) requires you to click on the little blue face button next to where you can type your name after selecting the desired character changing it from a blue face into a red face, the next time you load the game where you can select your characters it will say Hardcore below your characters name.

okay since I have the ability ( and responsibility ) of editing our External aliance page I started to make a first draft of our page, any and all ideas are welcome and will be implemented when possible. I could use a little help with some of the html tagging as well so feel free to comment on this. the second tier is coming closer and we gotta get this to work, right now we look like a bunch o noobs on our external page anything between simple ( ) can be included in the text.. anything between [ ] is meant for editing and comments ps. I used the word Crew instead of clan because we are not all in D.A.R.K. and the word clan might be misunderstood

those levels are based on MP,in SP you can not start a gold or higher game without finishing it on the level preceding it ( silver for gold gold for plati etc.), silver however is possible from the beginning, ( but not advisable unless you're absolutely sure u want to die ) if I read you correctly, starting a new char in MP by using another char slot does not ruin your chances to get on higher levels, but only if said character is also the required level. the reason for Finishing the game, is something you want to figure out yourself I think, Me .. I do it for the satisfaction of finishing the game at least once, and also to know all the area's and their enemies, it gives you a general idea where you can have some fun on a certain level, or in some cases where the enemies are most susceptible to your favored damage type ( fire, poison, Physical, Magic). Also the devs have put a lot of effort in making this game as interesting in SP as it is in MP so it's worth it IMHO Statues are interesting only when you have 100% lifeleech and there is noone else on the server, it has a hidden bonus!! Bonus = I don't lag but you do 100% places to train all depend on what character you're playing, for quick leveling with a bit of an edge ( or a big one if the server is crowded ) is the VOT (valley of tears ) a lot of people also like the OC ( orc Cave ) or GC( ghost clearing/cave) practice:) well I love them lush green fields full of goblins they're dumb, they follow you even when you are clearly stronge, and they Die real quick ( but don't give much xp )
