  1. If you go mitigation go big or go home. Mastery of tougness and gear specced mitigation. Combat Reflexes isn't too bad 1 pt wonder on the other hand because 1 pt reduces crit a fair amount and relieves the melee spike damage.
  2. seraphim has set pieces with mitigation so it is a good way to go. Mitigation is not a diminishing return. Unlike evasion or deathblow. and another interesting thing is that going from 50 to 75 cuts damage you in reality take by 1/2. Mitigation going 0 to 25 it only reduces 3/4 of base damage. So mitigation is the opposite of diminishing returns. Combat reflexes is good also though. The minus crit is the big deal. The reason it is good is it prevents damage spikes. Spikes are more dangerous than steady hits.
  3. gogo I am 1 GB memory:) is that right or is it my bandwidth with ATT? So lost. I used a ton of it in the first month I had my phone so I thought I had to buy more but then didn't use so changed my plan again. The REALLY cool thing is I used ATT app to make the changes to my plan rather than be on hold 20 minutes.
  4. gogo I have the iPhone 6 with a big screen. That is nice because it has a big enough screen to use as a kindle. Also I don't have great vision and a little shaky hands (but I could still play sacred). For me the bigger screen definitely worth it.
  5. I have an iPhone and was just enthralled by it and learning so much and useful apps. My knowledge has leveled off though. But I use it a ton.
  6. I think you could make a trip-aspect seraphim. But the thing is you usually spam certain combat arts and so if you take 3 foci/ 3 lore then you can only use 1 combat art at a time. And as you see it takes up 6 skills and you only have 10. But it can be done. What combat arts do you like to use? Maybe I can help? Also people always forget that they will probably only play up to level 90 or so. They won't hit level 200. So even if you cover all three aspects with all lore/foci you still have to pick which skills to invest points in. I think ultimately you need to make brutal choices. That doesn't mean you can't somehow use three aspects, but your not going to be a master at 3 aspects.
  7. So if I am only spending 80 points I should go 21 in focus and 59 in lore?
  8. A lot of times people plan their build for all skills mastered but then actually playing the build they don't nearly get that high a level. I figure on spending 80 pts between lore and focus for radiant pillar. Should I spend 5 on focus and 75 on mastery of lore? Or should I split 40 in each and not have a mastery? I will have rph.
  9. I like reflect spells best if you are going past level 100 which is where enemy CAs start to feel the hurt. Projectiles are not very dangerous in Sacred 2 unlike Titan Quest machae archers. I would take force field instead of ranged reflect. For the last if I use rph to blow away regens then I take block. Otherwise a toss up.
  10. Did you know double attack from mastery does not work on combat arts? I'm not sure if double attack on gear works on CAs.
  11. I have an idea. Respec a limited number of levels going back. So say at 20th level you can respec back 3 levels, but not all 20. This prevents you from totally changing a character from a tank to dps or something but allows you to fix ideas that don't pan out.
  12. Now reading the Belgariad: pawn of prophecy, Queen of Sorcery, Magicians Gambit. Book 4 and 5 I don't have but I ordered them and should arrive in a coupla days.
  13. Yes too hard to know your skills by their icon
  14. I recently finished Double Cross which is about a real life 'mob boss' Moony Giancana including his early youth up to when he was running deals with the CIA. It is a true story told by his brother.
  15. I only use ZD in boss fights and take advantage of his twin % life leach weapon. If I have a %life leach weapon then he will too. I do not use ZD for regular mobs and I use Soul Reaver against mobs instead. On the boss with ZD I make it a buff so I don't have to recast. For example fighting the guardians you don't need to wait for cooldown and recast.
  16. Tactics lore directly increases melee damage and crits. Also Shadow Warrior is unique in that tactics adds mod points to both death warrior and malevolent champion. I think you should take that skill would be my highest order suggestion. Blacksmith is good to go along with tactics because you can ramp up your damage. I am assuming you are not using higher level toons to do your smithing. But before I played with higher level smiths 'cheating' or 'twinking' one of my best shadow warriors had max blacksmithing and max tactics and performed wonderful.
  17. 5. I like Korum in the desert. You can travel to the desert in single player by a road from Sonnenwind. Sonnenwind is in the elf map. In Korum there is a stairsteps that spwans no enemies so never in a danger. Just go down the stairs and back up to respawn the vendors. There is a shop and a rune maste near the stairs (runemasters sell jewelry.. something I didn't know for a long time)
  18. It's a fun game and unbelievably cool artwork on each card. It's a money pit if you try to buy all the cards to make a good deck.
  19. This spider guy reminds me of magic the gathering cards.
  20. The difference for me is my attitude. If I am not finding gear with a Sacred 2 system I think: "ok just kill more bosses etc and it will drop".. And compare that to someone else 'getting my loot'.. It makes me upset. I don't want to compete with someone for who nabs the loot the fastest. It makes me angry. Regarding Titan Quest there was a lot of customization but not in the characters appearance. The dual mastery system is genius in that there are 9 masteries and thus (9+8 +7 etc) 45 combos of masteries. And then you can spec your skill trees and gear. Titan Quest is as special to me as Sacred 2. Multiplayer was bad though because it wasn't closed server. I also only played where I find my own gear (not twink) so I never found anyone who wanted to play that way with me.
  21. What combat arts do you use to kill: champion, boss, mob?
  22. Probably gear is important for defense. I would put 75 points in lore and focus and master shield lore which should help against green scorpions as it give reflect and % melee block for a shopped shield. Evasion pants and boots will also help against scorpions and other things.
  23. I'm a fan of spell resistance because the odds are stacked in the players toon's favor hopefully. They have some kind of defense where the sum of damage of the monsters is not going to bring them down. For example shadow warrior has reflect and hitpoint regeneration and a lot of armor.. Then other skills come in play. Spell resistance is specifically targeting lucky crits of combat arts of the enemy. The deck is stacked for the player and the only danger is burst damage or getting unlucky with crits. combat reflexes and spell resistance help. Yes you need enough basic defense to get to where you have the deck stacked. But once it is stacked SR is good against the worst burst damage in the game. In hard core it can be better to have a benefit targeted to the most dangerous damage. Sure you need reflect and evasion but anti-crit does play a good role. My general claudius build had spell resistance mastered and I never regretted it.
  24. I've read that one feature of unbended is that the world evolves as things go on. For example a peaceful community might get at war or damage from magic gone wrong. How does this work with multiplayer? I LOVE the idea of an evolving world, but I had hoped to see friends from sacred 2 in the new game.
  25. Toughness/mitigation doesn't work on DOTS like spiders in south east swamp. It also doesn't work on the eyes in the cursed forest life leach.
