  1. A cold windy day here. Only about 40 degrees. Even a couple of snow flurries. Hard to believe that last month we had a string of 70+ degree days.
  2. Some great fight scenes here. But if you want something totally over the top check out Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky. There are some great clips on YouTube. When I think completely crazy fight stuff, this movie is at the top.
  3. Happy Easter everyone! Got the day off, so I am taking it easy. Checking out the beta for Path Of Exile. I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend.
  4. Thanks for posting these beta keys D-molisher. Finished downloading the beta and so far I am at level 4. Still looking around the starting area. Pretty fun so far.
  5. Looks like I am a little late to the party on this one. Price now shows as $5.99 Do these kind of free games pop up on GOG very often?
  6. I finally picked up KOA on Sunday. It seemed to start a little slow for me, but it has improved a lot. I am already 30+ hours in (I just had the last 4 days off). I have already done 40 or 50 quests, just having a great time at this point. Very happy that I decided to pick this one up!
  7. The demo for this was pretty fun. I might have to pick this one up for the 360.
  8. So this game is finally out. Anyone pick it up yet? Opinions? I got around to downloading the demo for the 360 last night. Pretty fun. Limited amount of time to play. Considering reading some reviews and maybe picking it up this weekend.
  9. Welcome to Dark Matters! I have to admit that I never even knew this existed! Just ran a google search and the figurine looks pretty dang cool. Do they have them for all of the characters in the game? Be sure to post if you manage to find this at a great price.
  10. So this is only gonna be free in Europe, not in the USA? Pity. Looks pretty good. But I have to admit that my current machine would probably not run it on anything but the lowest settings anyway.
  11. Congrats on getting into the beta Llama8! Like Dragon Brother, I am looking forward to hearing how it is running on your computer (as well as the specs so I can compare it to mine).
  12. I really liked the original Fright Night a lot. Chris Sarandon was a terrific vampire, and Roddy McDowall was outstanding as the TV show host. Glad to hear good things about the remake. Hopefully it will be a lot better than the sequel was.
  13. ...and if I was making 3.4 million a year I would buy you one myself!
  14. Thanks Dragon Brother. Will probably give this a try after I read up on more of the differences between the 3 versions of the game. Looks like I will have to spend some time on the wiki. Thanks again.
  15. I am sure that one of the helpful people around here has the answer for this. I originaly purchased the American version of Sacred 2 for the PC a long time ago, then last year I used the link here on Dark Matters to purchase and install the Gold version of the game with Ice & Blood (which I play with the CM Patch). I spend some of my time playing the XBox 360 version of the game as well. Been having a lot of fun with the XBox version of the game, and this has me wondering if it is possible to install the old version of Sacred 2 on my computer without it causing a problem with the Ice & Blood version, this way I can play either version on the computer, instead of heading off to the XBox. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks to all for reading this.
  16. Norton also comes up with Sacred2.com as unsafe for me, but it does allow me to surf the site and I have not had a problem there, which leads me to agree with czevak's suggestion that it is a false positive.
  17. Welcome to the forum David. Lots of friendly people here as you have no doubt noticed, and a great place to find info on this awesome game.
  18. I love my toaster oven for making small meals and re-heating leftovers. Fantastic thing to have in the kitchen. Now, having said that I have to say that my favorite appliance is easily my coffee maker. A cheap simple kitchen gadget that I could never be without, especially if I want to stay awake!
  19. In my case it is Saints Row The Third. Although I thought the first one was okay, the second one is fantastic. Way over a 100 hours of playtime, probably 2 or 3 timmes that amount.
  20. That is just amazing to watch gogo. All 4 guardians in under 80 seconds! Congrats to Loco on a stunning build!
  21. Never found a Kaldur's Legacy, but I bet a DW seraphim with them would destroy most everything in the game. 2.5% each, dual wield, 5.0% a swing, even the guardians must just melt!
  22. Sounds a lot like here essjayehm. Mid 50's at the moment. low 30's tonight with a chance of scattered frost. can't believe that I will most likely have to start wearing a light jacket soon, instead of just a T-shirt. But I do hope that fall lasts a long time this year.
  23. Amazing survival bonus there! Never been able to accomplish that on either version of Sacred. Congrats on that essjayehm!
