  1. Glad you found DM Juli! I look forward to slaying many beasts with you!
  2. Thanks for the warm welcome! I have been having a blast with y'all and look forward to more great times!
  3. Hey there Zid, welcome to DM!
  4. I tried this a while a go. I may give it a shot again to see how it has been updated. As to the microtransactions, I don't mind it at all. Both free to play and pay to pay boils down to the same thing for me...time = money. I never have the time to get the best stuff, so if I want it, I have to pay for it. Either in an official shop or by buying on the "black market". Since I don't care about having the best gear, it isn't an issue for me. But I can see how others in my situation would pay real life cash for ingame items.
  5. Just hopped in for a bit. (bah. I think I give up on the HE. Just got my second one aced. Well...she was only level 9 at least.)
  6. Have a great weekend! Good luck with your crew during that drive!
  7. Does look very similiar to the D3 videos Blizzard has up and running currently. As far as "next generation gaming", it looks as if this may be true. Most every trailer I have come across as of late, all tend to have the same feel, graphics & the like. I remain, I see that too. They are all very similar. I wonder which game will distinguish itself as best? Blizzard has a track record of taking what others are doing and tweeking it just a bit to make it better. I bet we will see more of the same. I hope D3 isn't as claustrophobic as the past Diablos have been.
  8. For more strippers and flushing toilets!
  9. I really liked DS and didn't care for DSII. Now here comes DS III. Link to DS video I would have embedded the video to the thread, but I dont know how to do that.
  10. That's nine words.............and one number.
  11. Welcome to DM Inferno! Glad to see you signed up.
  12. Great guide! It looks great and reads well. Sorry to see you leaving Sacred! Good luck.
  13. Many people gather "buff suits" for their buffs. They gather all of the +Battle Stance gear they can and equip that before casting the buff. After they cast the buff, they change back to their regular armor and weapons. This allows you to get around the regeneration issue that can be created with eating a ton of the buff runes.
  14. We have a lot of US players on the EU servers (me included)....come join us!
  15. I am a sucker for ingame items like vanity pets or talbards or special mounts. If those are included, I may pick up the CE. I have no issue picking up digital only copies of games; especially with a service like Steam. However, the digital download of Sacred 2 was a royal pain in the a$$, so I think I would opt for a hard copy of Sacred 3.
  16. The difficulty of the rapids just got ramped up!
  17. When I lived in Wisconsin I learned the art of beer boiling the brat before grilling it. It is great for tailgating prior to a Brewers or Packers games. Just like the boiling directions above, just use cheap beer instead of water.
  18. Good luck Rot! Now where am I going to get my mythos news?!
  19. Sorry to hear that Ryan! I'm a serial toon killa...I feel your pain.
  20. "Knowing is half the battle!"
  21. I'm sure this is TMI, but here ya go! Jelly vs Jam How the US government defines them for labeling. The difference among these spreads is largely one of consistency, and for the first three, standards are established by the Food and Drug Administration so consumers will know what theyre buying. Jelly is a clear, bright product. It is generally made by cooking fruit juice and sugar with pectin as a jelling agent and lemon juice as an acid to maintain a consistent texture. Jelly is firm and will hold its shape (it shakes). Generally, jelly contains no pieces of fruit, although specialty jellies, like pepper jelly, may include pieces of jalapeo or other pepper. Jam is made from crushed or chopped fruit cooked with sugar, and often pectin and lemon juice. Jam can be a pure of fruit or have a soft pulp, but it does not contain chunks of fruit. Preserves are fruit cooked with sugar to the point where large chunks of fruit or whole fruit, such as berries, are suspended in a syrup base. The texture of preserves is not smooth like jelly or jam. Marmalade is a soft jelly, often citrus-based, that includes both the flesh and peel of the fruit suspended throughout the jelly base. The bitterness of the peel offsets the sweetness of the jelly. Conserve is a mixture of more than one fruit, often with added nuts and raisins, that is cooked until it becomes thick. It is used as a spread for breads, pastries and meats, and in the latter use is closest to chutney. Chutney is a spiced condiment of Indian origin (chatni is the Hindi word for strongly spiced) made of fruit or vegetables. It is typically served as an accompaniment to food, not as a spread. The spice level can range from mild to hot, and the consistency from a fine relish to a preserve or conserve. Fruit chutney consists of chopped fruit, vinegar, spices and sugar cooked into a chunky sweet-tart-spicy mix: according to one explanation, it blurs the Western distinction between preserves and pickles. Fruit Butter, such as apple butter or prune butter, is fruit pure or pulp combined with sugar, lemon juice and spices, slowly cooked down to a smooth consistency. The butter refers to its spreadability: there is no actual butter in the product. Fruit Curd is a creamy spread made with sugar, eggs and butter, generally flavored with citrus juice and zest. Fruit Spread is generally a reduced-calorie product made with fruit juice concentrate and low-calorie sweeteners replacing all or part of the sugar. The short common sense versoin: Jelly, jam and preserves are all made from fruit mixed with sugar and pectin. The difference between them comes in the form that the fruit takes. In jelly, the fruit comes in the form of fruit juice. In jam, the fruit comes in the form of fruit pulp or crushed fruit (and is less stiff than jelly as a result). In preserves, the fruit comes in the form of chunks in a syrup or a jam. Pectin is an indigestible carbohydrate (fiber). It is found in the cell walls of most fruit. When heated with sugar in water, it gels, giving jam, jelly and preserves their thickness.
