  1. Not sure Gogo. I've asked Pixel, Doberlec, TornadoX1 & czevak (I think) if they can keep us uptodate on the SIF with any news. I was thinking of going but my wife's up in Manchester today/tomorrow & the flights get a lot more expensive on Fridays/weekends...
  2. Like a "Dryad Lore" giving increased resistance/evade to soap & bonuses to hugging trees?
  3. I was wondering why you'd not put in a TG (or Inquisitor & DM). I'm not sure off the top of my head what an "immortal" TG would look like, but I'm sure Jolting Touch would feature fairly heavily since it gives stackable melee reflection (or life leech, sadly not a %), 5% healing per pulse (or more RpH per pulse) & most importantly, Damage Mitigation (25% at level 1). You'd probably have to take Concentration so you can use T-energy Shroud (modded for damage mitigation & CA reflection) & Untouchable Force (modded for stun, attack speed reduction & arrow block) & possibly permanent Combat Alert (obviously you'll get better bonuses if you keep it a CA, but you'll have more to manage, but you can just chuck it into a combo) modded for defence & melee reflect. Charged Grid is the TG's only healing CA (well, and Jolting Touch), but it's got a massive cooldown that isn't reduced by any of it's mods. Furious Emblazer can also be modded for stun. That would make necessary skills - Concentration, DG Focus, SW Focus, WE Lore, Tactics (since it boosts the damage reduction/absorption of T-energy Shroud), LF Focus (Lore would only be necessary if you're using LF CAs for damage), then the "usual" Consitution, Armour Lore, Spell Resist & Combat Reflexes, possibly Toughness as well, though you'd need to swap something out since Conc -> CR is 10 skills.
  4. Your attack speed would be 100% if you've not got any bonuses to attack speed (from any source) & the weapon level is at or below your character level (assuming you've not got the relevant weapon lore). It's probably simpler to check to see what type the weapon is if you've got either Sword or Hafted Weapons, since if it is that weapon type then it'll get an attack & attack speed bonus, if it's not then it won't. Additionally, if the weapon you're curious about is higher level than you (but still equippable) then IIRC the attack speed debuf is calculated incorrectly when in your inventory (since it won't use the correct level of weapon lore), but it is correctly calculated when you equip it. Eg, say you're level 100 & interested in a level 120 weapon. Normally this weapon would have a significant attack speed reduction due to it's level, but because the "max level" item you can use is 125 due to your weapon lore, you can use it easily. When it's in your inventory it'll show the "normal" attack speed debuf, but when you equip it that debuf goes to 0 (since the debuf is correctly calculated using your weapon lore).
  5. So, for those hard-of-thinking, editing the Spawn.txt file & changing the "total_density" will increase the amount of monsters spawned (man that's a lot of rows!) & changing the "rank = " line from 0 to 1 would make a normal monster a champion in the Creatures.txt file (and changing it to 2 would give a boss)? Edit: 'Cause I replaced all of the rank = 0 with rank= 1 & none of the monsters changed to champions... Edit #2: Ooops, I guess I should ahve changed "monstertype = 0" to 1...
  6. How about the "other" colour for the eyes (so if you go with red for the body you use blue for the eyes)? Or Green? Gogo, I doubt you'd see the detail of "proper" bloodshot eyes...
  7. Thanks dreeft. I think I'll go for red too...
  8. I don't suppose someone would mind re-posting the pics so that I can see them? http://czevak.cz.funpic.de is being blocked by my work firewall (which I can't get around) for "Spyware effects"... ####wits...
  9. I've PM'd Pixel, Doberlec & one of the mods on the GSF. I think that Pixel's standing in while they get a replacement for Hornet, also, TornadoX1's been helping out on the SIF every so often as well.
  10. The pic's aren't being displayed...
  11. And we don't (I think) have a CM to give us the info (Hornet's last day was the 13th). Edit: Might have to go on to the GSF & ask one of the mods to hand us any info, links, etc)...
  12. Which begs the question, what was the other one (I only really remember DaGirl World )...
  13. Oh good, bloom! On one hand I think that you may need to change the graphics engine, but on the other hand I've seen posts in the modding forum about adding light (or something) to items (ie, that the graphics engine can already do something like this, though I'm not sure if it would add a glow like that). Personally I'm quite glad that there are some games in the world that don't have bloom up to the eyeballs...
  14. It takes the Humans 1,000 years to make a crossbow, the High Elves/Seraphim were making all of the energy weapons while the dumb#### Humans are going about hitting things on the head with blunt-and-or-pointy sticks... But yes, it'd be interesting to see either a shiny high tech chainsaw, or a gruby "Orc tech" chainsaw (lots of noise & black smoke, etc). Especially if you can have a sawn-off shotgun in your other hand...
  15. Yeah, but that's not what I saw when I did some investigating... I'm confused too now & it didn't help that the per level damage bonuses on the CAs aren't linear: Baneful Smite (from spells.txt) does 49 damage + 24.5 damage per level both physical & magic, though the magic gets a +2% bonus per level as well. That all adds up to 149.5 at level 1, plus the % bonus from Int (13% on the level 200 seraphim I was using) gets me to 168.9 damage & the Int screen was saying 166 damage, which is fairly close. level 60, however, should give 1,519 physical damage + 3,342 magic damage, for a total of 4,921, plus the Int bonus of 16% gives 5,708 damage, but I was only seeing 1,372 damage (429 physical & 943 magic). Then add in CD: level 1 CD (+74) 176 dmg at level 1 BS, 1,436 dmg at level 60 BS. level 10 CD (+313) 214 dmg at level 1 BS, 1,641 dmg at level 60 BS. level 20 CD (+537) 255 dmg at level 1 BS, 1,833 dmg at level 60 BS. Interestingly, at level 1 BS, the Magic damage was 130 while physical damage was only 125). level 50 CD (+1,030) 334 dmg at level 1 BS, 1,641 dmg at level 60 BS. level 100 CD (+1,829) 469 dmg at level 1 BS, 2,942 dmg at level 60 BSInterestingly, at level 1 BS, the Magic damage was 237 while physical damage was only 232). Even after taking into acount the 13%/16% Int bonus & the 2% per level BS bonus, I can't get the damage bonus from CD to calculate correctly...
  16. Not sure what definition of base damage you're using Loco, but CD is a % damage bonus just like the Lores (unless I've got the wrong end of the stick about your post). Edit: Actually, it doesn't look like it is a % bonus...
  17. Ther German name (or the one that's used in the files at least) is schwertfeuer which translates to "sword fire", which is far more accurate.
  18. And yet cool... Edit: I think the only downside of copyinng over the Wheel animations for the UFO animations would be that it would presumably always be in effect (ie, you'd be riding a UFO rather than a Wheel).
  19. That would be quite interesting Chattius, it would mean that you could have a TG that has Area of Effect (albeit short range) damage buffs for fire & magic. Add in Damage Lore... The damage would be comparable to the melee range damage from Incandescent Skin, slightly more (3+2.5 per level) than the Sphere mod for the Inquisitor's Reverse Polarity (which is apparently fairly powerful later on). Perhaps it could be a change for the CM mod? You could then have a TG that uses the damage mod for T-energy Shroud & this for melee range damage (plus spamming Deathly Spears) & using Damage Lore to make them more effective. Edit: Perhaps change mod #5 to block root rather than break root (I assume that break root only affects any roots in effect when the CA is cast, rather than as a buff when the CA would be in effect when a root is cast).
  20. Yeah, it wouldn't be possible on the consoles due to their lack of ram, though some dedicated servers would fix that.
  21. WYSIWYG, Soulstaff of the Wilds is what we've got...
