  1. That album is Star One's Victims of the Modern Age. Really nice album altogether. I got a signed edition with a T-shirt when it came out. ^^ And Arjen's actually making new stuff with Ayreon. Maybe we'll get a full album next year or so? I personally don't like his single projects as much as his collaboration ones. Plays really well, but I don't quite dig his singing. Though he's an amazing coordinator, I'll give him that. All stuff with Ayreon and Star One's really great. I'd warmly recommend you to listen Ayreon's Into the Electric Castle. Might be a little hard to get to, if one's not listened much progressive metal, but that's one really great when you get into it. Oh, and there's full list of Ayreon's quest artists. Just checked it quickly again and noticed that Hansi Kürch from Blind Guardian is Guesting in 01011001.
  2. Omni: Hey, no worries. I was actually debating about moving somewhere else with a friend yesterday. And one place I suggested was Netherlands. Guess we are both not very satisfied with many things our "darling" government has made few past years, or something... Friend even offered me a modified name; Johan van Kainoulainen. Guess we're kinda random bunch at times too. And as it is, this thread reminds me of series of threads on Finnish anime/manga/general Japan stuff- forum where I frequent. Fitly named as Offtopics, they're full of random chatting. And I indeed share your sentiments about Floor. Mostly heard her as one of the singers of Arjen Anthony Lucassen's Star One project. I like her singing a whole lot too.
  3. Well, that we have, but I guess only for Inquisitor, iirc. What was it? ...Supreme Helm of Evil, or something. And I'm all for tux-sets, if by any means possible.
  4. Omni: I'm quite sure there's a big possibility to get an Enhanced Edition for BG2 too, if things go well. And I've heard whispers they might also go after Icewind's Dale one of these days. Nothing official but it's always possible, seeing there's a lot of suckers for these games, me included. And about Mass Effects; they sure are quite FPS'ey, but do have quite many roleplaying components too, and there's many choices which reflect your actions through all 3 games, which is really nice. Albeit it's somewhat a chore to push at least 6 different Shepards all through the games. Still kinda liked it. Why else would've I played ME2 4 times in 2 weeks or something. xD Oh, and there's going to be a trilogy-edition which nails all 3 games together, so that'd be a perfect purchase for those who don't yet own any of them. And Nightwish. Well, you kinda missed my country; I'm from Finland which is where Nightwish it from too. Hopefully I would get a chance to see them next summer if things go well. I really liked what I've heard of Floor's work with the guys. She's altogether one of my fave female singers, so I was oeverjoyed when I heard she's joining the crew. Maybe temporarily, but I do hope she'll stick with 'em longer.
  5. Back to business, man. Hope you had a good vacation down south. And nice to hear a headsup, don't need to wonder what happened, if everything gets bonkers soon.
  6. Omni: Go for the Enhanced Edition, deffo! Haven't gotten it yet. Channeling my leftover funds on ME3, namely Omega. But in any even, the Enhanced Edition will definately be worth every penny, if you're a RPG, or more specifically FR-fan. Never had the chance to play the original one. Oh, I had it at one time, but the when noticed it wouldn't look very good on full-HD screen, sold it out. Anyways, I'm currently into Mass Effect 3. And secondly on Persona 4 Golden. Finally a great game for my Vita. ^^ Too bad it's dubbed, and quite badly, IMHO. But I guess the improvements and added stuff somewhat compensate that.
  7. Really? How the heck I didn't realize this when I watched this movie?!? Must've been the "refreshments" at the time. Yeah, that must've been it... *hick*
  8. Okay, broke down and ordered this one. At least I think it's this, as mine will be somewhat cheaper. But I read from the description it'll include all the bonus materials and a dragonegg paperweight. No need for an actual paperweight, but I'm sure it'll be nice addition to the few collectibles that float around here. Kinda had a break with the second season, and I think I might postpone it to the release of the BD-collection late next Feb. Got it reserved and all. Might be a good thing to read down the books first. Only around 300 pages in the first book and it really feels already better that the series, which really is understandable. And I'm sure I'll be wanting a reference book later, when the characters multiply. At least I heard there'll be such a thing.
  9. After few days of howling winds some semi-heavy snowfall. While it's okay to have some snow, I do hate snowworks to heart... Plus if forecasts hit true, there'll be around -18C tops on the coming week. Me no likey at all... *brrr*
  10. Gogo: Not about certain eastern works of "art", hmm? But yes, gotta admit, I like all that D&D stuff too, mostly Forgotten Realms, but a friend of mine got me kinda interested about Ravenloft too. But, perhaps continue discussion somewhere else. Don't want to highjack Aegi's thread.
  11. Still not nice to get a spam overflow... Well, all good tidings to the new thread, Aegis, and nice pic too. Gogs: Google-fu did it's magic. Was a little lost with the displacer, but indeed, I've read, was it Drizzt's adventures, about such creature. It was in Finnish, though, so the name eluded me for starters.
  12. Welcome to the boards, matey! Have a great stay.
  13. Guess I forgot to mention it'll be a three year project to pay that. Around 850€ or something. Couldn't get it otherwise but there was a nifty part payment contract. Around 25€ per month is affordable for me. Too bad two's the maximum my current GPU can handle. So no all three screens at once... Yet, with couple of clicks I can twirl which screens to use for pc. ^^ Though one of these days I need to invest on the pc as whole. Especially GPU. But gotta admit, I'm quite damn happy about the tv.
  14. Guess this goes here too. Finally gave away and got meself a real TV. Brand new Samsung 40" LED. A bit work in progress though. A sort of cable channel is needed to hide away the assorted cables. But as it took some time and friend's from next town over, decided to do it some other day. Was quite late when we finished. So, all in all, from now on nice movie and gaming moments coming.
  15. You do have much more temperate climate altogether than here in Finland though. And few varieties grow on the Andie's snow line, so they are hardy ones indeed. Only thing that's keeping few possible candidates from overwintering here is the ground frost. Haven't checked out lately though how the refining project's going. Maybe we one day indeed have a hibernating chili from Finland, who knows. Oh, and friend's got at least one lemon tree or something indoors. Gotta keep it small tho, limitide space and all..
  16. Yep. That's really all it takes, I've noticed. And really isn't the most expensive hobby/experiment/whatever, if it doesn't go out of hands. I've read few stories of building big greenhouses when interests first spikes. Searched some info of those, Podgie. Seems both are annuum variety, which aren't mostly the most tasty ones. Not counting jalapeño. Though only my humble opinion. And supposedly the Devil's brew should be quite hot. So be prepared for that. Guess I might want to put up one Hungarian, if only for looks. Reminds me a little of Pimenta de Neyde. Mighty nice looking variety.
  17. chattius: Well, that's certainly one option. I have those couple Preatermissums in passive hydroponics, which works just fine. Only downside is that the plants grow quite thin, whereas in normal soil the stalks are much stronger. Also, all but two, well three, if we count the bamboo are on pots with water tanks. No fibers but good things to have, if one's away for some time. Doesn't dry up that easily. Gogo: Thanks. ^^ And it's now quite that I don't have time. More like all stuff happening with family and my own situation sucked me so dry that I didn't have any energy left to keep up with all the plants. Now, I might finally put something on the backyard next summer, but otherwise I'll stick up with those few. Less hassle, more space. Only downside is, that the hydro kept air tad more moist on winter. Need to come up with an alternative. If the real winter ever comes around.
  18. Whelp. It's been almost a year since last whisper here. Though, to be completely honest I've had little too much to deal with to concentrate on these darlings... And as for an update, the hydro had to go. Didn't have quite the energy to keep it all clean and stuff, so it really started to affect the quality of air... So, it's on hold, at least for now. At least it really taught me to what it takes to have one. And so, here's what I have left as it is. A lot less than earlier, but I don't really mind. At least it's easier to concentrate on the few ones around. Oh, and that bamboo is nice little addition I got from a dear friend. ^^ It'll be heckuva sure I'm gonna cherish it. Hopefully it'll also bring me a little more luck, as it's supposed to be a good luck bamboo. xD
  19. Ah, that one. To be completely honest, I was tad dissapointed in that album. I like Kamelot, yes. I like Tommy Karevik's singing ALOT. After all, he's the lead in Seventh Wonder, which is one of my biggest prog metal faves. But somehow that album didn't quite cut it... Sounds much better in for example on Alley Cat: But that's just my humble opinion.
  20. Well, checked all the options and everyone led to some survey or lottery or something, which would want all my contact info. (phone, et) That's a major no for me at least. Thought for a moment that must be sham or something. Would game companies do this nowadays? If yes, then no betas for me... Also, there seems to be a premium, like all other shares, but many other share-sites have completely free non-premium dls, so makes me wonder a bit..
  21. Nice finding, Aegis. If I'm not mistaken, that's some seriously nice cell-shading there. ^^ I also found it to my liking. Something to keep watch of, certainly.
  22. Personally, I've gotten Extremely Might Bat of Devastation and Dragonslayer couple of times, but that's about it. Mind you, haven't been playing for quite some time. But yeah, they are quite rare to drop. With or without CM.
  23. Into Mass Effects once again. Renewing the effort to port bunch of Shepards all the way to the 3'rd game.

  24. Bring on the rhum, yarrr! Especially Schot, have a few on me. This looks good indeed. The new default was far from DarkMatter(ish) feeling. And on a quick glimpse, this looks sweet in smartphone too. ^^
  25. Apparently some buggers with nothing better to do. Guess Schott is figgering around it as we speak. Not the first time something like this happens. Well, atleast we still can access the site.
