  1. A bit like Diablo 2. I'd play for a while and get fed up with trying to get a complete set ! Then, a couple of weeks later I'd be playing again !
  2. I have seen the Darth Vader ad' on British tv, and thought at the time that it was very clever indeed..............unlike most adverts. Steve.
  3. Some-one on SIF got me into TQ some time ago. Even with the add-on and mods, I grew a little bored of TQ.............sorry ! It was fun for a while. Steve.
  4. Slightly warmer here today, but it has brought in some rain. @ Gogo :- My feet get very cold, so I always wear slippers indoors, even in summer.
  5. I am readingHidden bits of Britain.. It's ok, but not as much fun as I thought it might be. Probably go back to fiction once I've finished this one. Steve.
  6. Heh, I couldn't even build one of thoseMeccanosets as a kid, so this would be a non-starter !
  7. Here is a link to theOfficial Amalur site. Check out the media tab to see some amazing vid's/trailers. Steve.
  8. I wish you luck with your purchase. If you are good with mechanics, then I guess it makes sense, especially if you are going to teach your children. Steve.
  9. Haha! Dodgeball was a good movie, light hearted, funny I watched a Ben stiller movie on the weekend too, Tower Heist. I thought it was pretty good. Tower Heist ? That's a new one on me. I'll see if it's on dvd. What year was it made please ? Steve. It's actually only just come out at the cinemas (in Australia at least), so you might have to wait a bit for that dvd. Aha, many thanks for info. I'm so out of touch with the cinema, it's embarrassing !
  10. Oops, can't remember who to multi-quote ! @ Gogo :- Thanks for the kind words. You are right to go to the doctor as these things don't just dissapear, I'm afraid. Sorry that you too have eye problems and hope that this latest thing ain't too serious mate. @ Podgie Bear :- Thanks mate. I'm sorry for your wife's news. Came as a huge shock when first diagnosed with diabetes as there is no familly history................only my all too big wasteline ! I'll keep my fingers crossed for her eyesight, as not everyone suffers. @ DB :- Cheers for the thoughts. You have to wait for the cataracts to fully develope before surgery, and that can take from 6 months to 10 years ! Only time will tell. @ Chattius :- Wow, that sounds like you've had a terrible time with your eye. Sorry to hear that bud. Yes, the cataracts are in both eyes, although the right one is more pronounced, apparantly. Cheers, Steve.
  11. I had my annual retinal check this morning, and the nurse told me that I have started to develope cataracts ! I was very shocked. I said that I am only 43 and that only old folk got cataracts ! She laughed and said that anyone can get cataracts, and that as a diabetic I have a higher chance than most................which had not been mentioned previously. I was a little annoyed about that, tbh. They have given me literature, in the past, on my diabetes which had discussed that we can suffer eye problems and even blindness, but never have I heard about diabetes in conection with cataracts *sigh* I will now have to wait for the confirmation of the results from the hospital and then start seeing ( no pun intended) the optician. My eye sight has always been good, so this is a double blow. Oh well, there's worse out there, so no point in sulking ! Steve.

  13. The last couple of days have been cold 'n' icy, but no snow thus far, thank goodness !
  14. The game looks mighty good. I started a thread on this over at SIF..............not that I got a bite ! I am waiting to see if you will need to use Steam to activate the game...........I very much hope not. Steve.
  15. Hi and welcome to the forum. Beating the game just get's you a pat on the back. Hmmm, Sacred 3 will be out, but who knows when. Steve.
  16. I should enjoy the work you have, even if it means long hard hours. So many have lost thier jobs these days that full time employment is something to cherish. Just try to stay under the bankers radar, they're out to destroy the world !
  17. I say never go back. What was a happy memory can sometimes be ruined by a modern nightmare............... Steve.
  18. I've been waiting so long for Diablo 3 that I'm a bit 'bleh' about it now...............if you know what I mean ?! Steve.
  19. I was gutted that the wonderful dwarf didn't make it into Sacred 2. What an awesome little dude ! Hope they bring him back for S3.
  20. IIRC that's on yer SIF profile..............well, last time a checked anyhoo. Very sorry that yer job fell through mate.
  21. No need to apologise my friend. I appreciate the link, and I will have a good read through to see what's on offer.
  22. Probably because that is what you are happiest with. I was the same with the first Sacred, especially closed hc. No matter what else I played, I always came back for some closed hc gaming. The massive number of variants in Sacred 2 is a big factor. A lot of games you play and don't fancy playing through again, whereas Sacred 2 offers lots of different stuff.
  23. Grim Dawn ? Can't say that I know that game, tbh. I'll have to go check it out. What type of game will it be ? Mmorpg, mp, sp etc ? Thanks for the tip. Steve.
  24. Coffee and almond cuisants all round ! I watched the Dodgeball movie the other night. Funny as anything ! Ben Stiller is such a funny comedian. Love the way he's happy to send himself up. A lot of Film stars are far to up themselves to do that, imho. I am very much not a romcom fan, but Along came Polly is another funny film. Steve.
