This year? Before a game will be release it gives previews and news, but the last previews and news is from last year. My personal opinion is: Sacred3 will be not released this year.

A big difference with Ascaron is that I'm not in the office with the developers, so I have to jump through a number of loops to get things done when it comes to in-game content. But this sounds like a cool idea if it fits the game The community managers from ascaron was not in the same city as the development studio from sacred;) Studio 2 was in Aachen and the headquarter from Ascaron in Gütersloh and a small pr office in Potsdam. PS: Welcome on board and maybe you will stay longer as the other cm's;) PPS: Only the console version was made in Gütersloh.

The pdf was changed. The game "Sacred Citadel" was removed from the list, very funny:D

Correct lujate, you need a lobby where the servers are registered and the gamer can join it. But without a lobby server you have no chance to find the servers. Or a user made a lobby software, but I think this chance is small to make a lobby software for sacred 2 and host it. The lobby at the monent is not open source and koch media will not give any users this software to host it. The problem is that the lobby software have middleware and is not allowed to give it to the users. It's the same like the source code from sacred 2. Only way to play in the future is to use tools like hamachi. But we must wait which servers will be shut down. My personal opinion that the closed net servers will be shut down and the lobby too. But I hope the lobby will be alive.

Let me explain the situation about sacred1 and sacred 2 lobby: The lobbys from sacred 1 was payed by a lot publisher. Every country have their own lobby and the publisher in this country pay for that. That is the reason why a few lobby in s1 are alive and others dead (german lobby too). The lobby for sacred 2 won't be payed by region publisher. Only koch media payed for the lobby and closed net server. The situation is the same as s1 shut down. It's a economic decision, sadly.

This words show only one think: If a game have not things you want and will never get it, the company is crap and the death is ok. Nice words to the end. It's better you change your view on the word. Nobody have deserved to lost the job. Ascaron make a good job all the years and a very good community work. My 2 cents

Sacred was not the final reason for the bankruptcy, right. Older games from ascaron cost a lot money and the games wasn't a top seller. 2 example: Darkstar One (2006): Cost 2 Mio. €, profit: 1,9 Mio €, a difference from -100.000 € Tortuga - Two Treasures (2006): Cost 2 Mio. €, 0,2 Mio. €, a difference from -1,8 Mio € You see, the mistake in the past have ascaron died, but we can talk and talk, the past will never to be change. It's better to look in the future, that says anca (btw: I miss you).

More keen games. Deepsilver is only the company that give keen games the money to made sacred 3. Ok and the pr for the game when the times is right and maybe that is 2012 or 2013 or................ PS: I wish me a wii version

Thanks for the warm welcome and for the beer:D Rumors or not, fact is deepsilver buy a license and when I buy a license, I will use it or? Sacred 3 was announced on the gamescom in cologne and keen games get a chance to made (and I hope a good) sacred 3. But to made a game cost time and we have to wait for future informations. PS: I think sacred 3 will not continued with the sacred 2 storyline. My personal opinion the game will play after sacred 1, maybe.
