What is the dumbest thing you have done--that seemed funny at the time--that you are sure will come back someday? Well for me it was about a week or so ago. My sister-in-law got one of those flip video records as a reward for signing up with Verizon Fios. Was supposed to get a laptop but there was a mix up with the promotion company. So it's sitting there next to my computer..... I'm looking through youtube--searching for my favorite moments from The Family Guy when I got a sudden urge. I set up the camera, took a few steps back and started doing the peanut butter jelly song. About halfway through, you can hear my son asking if I have a problem or something. Well, now the wife is threatening to put it up on youtube, or facebook or something. My first thought is

It's like with today's sports stars. You get really good at [insert sport here] and people start watching you, slip up once and you're famous. Knuckles/Voided, as I recall, was our gladiator expert and gogo was the seraphim expert. Add one embarrasing photo and BAM!

And that is why I don't save my password in the options file. I once let my son help me with leveling a character in S1 and he killed it. There are 6 kids in the house. They all know not to touch daddy's/papa Henry's computer, but I do have to go to work..... Hate to come home one day to find my entire seraphim army dead.

A buddy at work bought this one and is trying to get me to do the same. Alas, my gaming budget is gone for the year.

This has been a very exciting thread! I know exactly where you are now. The money is in hand and the dreams are about to become reality and so you start rethinking some of the choices. You start to reason out some of the choices and cut back here and there. The main thing is that even with your planned cuts, you will still have an awesome system.

I've used AVG and was happy with it but I am currently using Avast!. The latest version seems fine but the previous starting flagging important files as infected. Avast also freaks the wife out late at night because it talks when it updates its database.

That is pretty cool. I've seen many weapons that just look awesome; I guess I'll have to start taking screenshots.

I entered(and used my real name) A bit more spam won't hurt me--it mostly get's caught by the filters any how. I thought I was missing something when I did not see a copy of the game in any of the prize packages. One a different note: If I go the the website for the T-energy sweeps, it still says check back after April 10, 2009.

I must have spent about 10 minutes checking that thing out on the net to find, to my horror, that it does nothing at all. It's just a rock with a USB cable glued to it. Lol. Kinda of want one though.

I'm guessing that gen 3 is Ice & Blood. It will take a few months, but I think I may end up getting it.

Lol. I was planning on shortening the length. I usually buy pants with a 30 inch inseam but these are 32. Kids these days just wear them long and walk on the extra length. Ain't that the truth. I find that if you can stop an eating habit for about 7 days the cravings will go away. I don't even miss the biscuits and sandwiches and burgers. I've actually gotten to a point where I can buy buy burgers for the wife and kids and sit there and watch them eat it without any problems. The wife loves my new level of energy because I can walk the mall for hours now. There was a reason that I was leaning on the bench in the first picture.

This is one of those things that you will love or hate. It made quite an impression on the discussion boards on Maximum PC with most hating it as I recall. Love it or hate it, I does have one thing going for it: It is one of a kind. That counts for a lot.

I'm getting that same error even after installing python. I think I have a version slightly higher than 2.6 though and I am running windows 7. I am still having trouble even drawing a line...lol After installing python 2.6, blender started to work 100%. So I would suggest maybe try installing 2.6? I uninstalled python 3.1 and downloaded(and installed) 2.6.4 64 bit. That took care of the error. Now for the tutorials!

I was looking at the Scythe fans as replacements for my 120mm fans in the future. The two 80's are going now though. As for the video fan, I found the fan control in my Catelyst drivers and throttled it way down. It's running almost silently right now and my temp is hanging at 52 c. I'll try attaching my other monitor to this rig so I can monitor the temps while playing sacred. I like the cooler you recommended as well. I have to buy a wireless card on my next payday, but I think I may be getting the fans pretty soon.

That would be too cool! @ locolagarto: I have the Smilodon extreme black. I live in Victorville with a huge empty field across the street. Just dirt and joshua trees. You know that monthly computer cleaning that we all(should) do? Well I have to do it every other day. It would cost me in the neighborhood of $40 USD to replace all of my fans with higher quality(without leds) Not a huge amount of money but I am broke at the moment. What I am more concerned about is the fan on my video card. It's going to have to be replaced soon. I'm just wondering if I can just take the fan off and rely on the heatsink.

Well it's been a few months since I built my Sacred 2 box and I must say that I am starting to regret my case choice. This thing is a dust magnet and two of the case fans are starting to fail. I'll replace them with better quality fans with no lights. But what is more troubling is that the fan on my Diamond 4670 is starting to fail as well. Anyone know of a good fan/heatsink combo? Or can I get by with just the heatsink. The noise from the three fans is really getting to me and I am about to remove the video card in favor of the on-board video if I can't find a solution soon.

Just wanted to take the time to say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Sorry, no poem this year. We are not going to do it today, opting instead for Saturday. But I've got the 4 day weekend!

Ever since I saw a spot on the food network about Pommes frites, I've been wanting to try them. I've experimented with making my own with mixed results.

You know, since I started the whole diet(and gave up bread) I have lost my taste for burgers and pizza and things of that nature. But right now, looking at those two hot dogs--I feel like I could almost fall off the wagon.
