  1. The issue with DW and Sword weapons is that they don't stack. You are better off investing in DW - You will see some people who use DW possibly take Sword weapons as a throwaway skill and only add a point into it to unlock the various Sword Weapon modifiers on a lot of swords but that is the only reason to have both skills.
  2. Good build Woody. Unfortunately, I'm on consoles so Blacksmith is out and I already have a couple of shoppers so I don't really want to take Bargaining. This allows me to take both CR and Concentration. Now, I have one skill left - I'm torn between Constitution and Spell Resistance, but I've never used Damage Lore on a build either, so maybe that is worth the last slot with Fiery Ember and Icy Evanescence as your main Combat Arts. Any thoughts?
  3. If you look at the big map over on the wiki you will be able to see everywhere you need to go. It has all the town and temple locations on it. Well, 19 of the 20 temples. The 20th temple is found doing the quest "The Ancestor's Chambers" which you can get just south of Dyr-Laigh on the Dyad Island from the guy on the bridge. Sacred 2 Map
  4. I'm thinking I'll move everything up after Barg. at 8 and take CD at 50 and Shield Lore at 65. I tried this build when I first got the game when it was released on the PS3 and got my ass handed to me seeing I had no idea what I was doing. Now after many months and about 400 hours into the game with various builds, I tried it again the other night and had a blast, ran her up to 18 in just about 3 hours. You've done a nice job putting this together - Thanks Dobri.
  5. So do you recommend taking CD over Shield Lore at level 65 now? Or do you go back to what you did on your latest build and take CD and Shield Lore and get rid of EP?
  6. That's a shame - It would be a nice get at the halfway point of some turtle stomping.
  7. Yeah, I am hearing both magic and fire over on the international forums. I was trying to rush through and finish gold before bed and I now realize I still had three Ice relics equipped from the Fen Fire in the jungle. I'll throw on three Magic and Fire and give it a shot tonight. Thanks.
  8. Last night my level 65 seraphim was taken out by one of the traps of a Temple Guardian in the Great Machine. Does anyone know what kind of damage they do? I'm running Battle Stance at roughly level 50, and have Armor Lore, Combat Reflexes, Constitution and Toughness(All between 55-70 with soft skill points) as defensive skills. What can I do to mitigate the damage I took?
  9. It is really hit or miss for me, to be honest. My latest build is a level 66 Seraphim that has about 140 Bargaining - From 60 through 63 or 64, I wasn't finding any at the stores. Now at 65 and 66, they have them almost every time. I'm not sure how the numbers actually work. I do know that if you are persistent and don't mind the boredom of doing it, you will eventually find what you need - But from my experience, there has been some dry spells.
  10. One thing I have never seen there is the Poison Lord. Is that available only through a quest? I am on the PS3 - Not sure if it makes a difference.
  11. I absolutely love that island gogo! I make at least two or three trip there to circle the beaches when I am in the area. At lower levels, it is an easy level up in 15 minutes and at mid-levels(Up to 75), two trips is all it takes. I have yet to get as lucky as you with a fantastic drop like that, but while I am there I spam ment pots and always leave the island with more than I came with.
  12. "+ all skills" are pretty rare at that point. You might want to try shopping at the Runemaster near the big temple in Thylysium. There is a dungeon right there - Every time you pop into the dungeon and back out it will reset his inventory. It will possibly take a while before you will find what you are looking for - Maybe 1 out of every 10 hits he will have a "+ all skills." So, you might be bored for a half hour, but it will pay off -
  13. Well, first off, you should dump Crystal Skin for Incandescent so you can get the three modifiers on it. Without Mystic, you can't modify Crystal so it is a waste to use it. Seeing you seem to do a lot of melee, make sure you choose Revenge as your Silver choice which has a 30% + 2% per CA level chance to Reflect Close Combat Damage.
  14. Hey guys, need some input to restart my previous TG - Is it crazy to go without T-Energy Shield as a Buff and use Combat Aura and Untouchable Force instead. By going with T-Energy, it basically forces you to choose Warding Energy doesn't it? I was thinking about trying out something along these lines - I love having EP and Bargaining as I hate the micro-management of going between my other builds. I could take those out and add WE and Toughness/Damage Lore/Combat Reflexes instead. 1) Enhanced Perception 2) Devout Guardian Focus 3) Bargaining 4) Source Warden Focus 5) Concentration 6) Tactics Lore 7) Armor Lore 8) Source Warden Lore 9) Combat Discipline 10) Constitution Thanks for your help.
  15. Wow - I had no idea. Like I mentioned above, I have just run IS and GI together and stayed away from Mystic Stormite tree. Surprised there is no mention of that on the Wiki.
  16. Maybe I'm missing something here, but why can't they both be run? I have played only one HE and ran IS with GI instead so I'm not aware of the reason you can't go with those two. He's taking Concentration which allows the two buffs.
  17. I thought of that for the added damage but was afraid of getting into crazy regen times if I pump it up. Are you aware if the damage modifier affects Divine Protection by boosting the shield an equal amount?
  18. Well, I had a blast playing through Silver with this build and reached level 47. Will start to slog through Gold soon and I am torn on my Level 65 choice. Part of me understands your reasoning of going with Sword Weapons. But, part of me really wants to Gold Mod both Flaring Nova and Divine Protection so I'd pick RT Focus instead. Any advice guys?
  19. Nice guide Stephane! I have been wanting to try Astral Lord focused SW for a while now and will probably start this one up after I get through with my current Dryad. I noticed in your initial post that there was no way you could have taken those skills in the order listed so I rearranged them prior to seeing you listing the order in a later post. I think I will stick with mine as I like to open up DW and 2 Buffs ASAP. So, I am going to try - Tactics Lore : 195(5 to open Dual) Armor Lore : 75 Dual Wield : 75 Astral Lord Focus : 100(5 to open Conc.) Concentration : 75 Constitution : 75 Malevolent : 75 Astral Lord Lore : 100 Combat Discipline : 75 Ancient Magic : 75 This shouldn't make a difference in the overall build. I did have a couple of questions though. 1) You mentioned that your CA modifications went as follows - The first CAs I've modded are Frenzied Rampage (with tactics lore) and Shadow Veil, then Nether Allegiance and Reflective Emanation. Why would you mod 3 buffs right away when you can't run 3 until level 75 at minimum? Do you swap between them? 2) With Shadow Veil as one of you main buffs, I was surprised to see you didn't take Demonic Blow seeing that would most likely grant you the lowest regen time without breaking your invisibility. So, I assume that Frenzied Rampage and Killing Spree are your main attacks. How many runes did you read on each to keep the regen times as low as possible?
  20. Nice guide Kudos. I'll be trying this build starting this weekend. I already have a couple of shoppers and I've saved up a good amount of Inquisitor gear in preparation of getting him started out until he can reach their level. So, I won't take Bargaining and move everything up a spot - I am thinking of perhaps Damage Lore at 65 to fill the open slot, but I'll wait to see how things are progressing before I lock myself into anything.
  21. I know with games such as these I get burned out as well, but I end up going back to them at some point. I still play Diablo 2 and Sacred from time to time - Drop in 30-40 hours at a pop every few months. It'll come back.
  22. Thanks so much Nilihanth. I assumed that was the way, but after spending an hour last night trying to find a way through the mountains in the swamps I figured I'd check. I hate being a wh*re to trophies/achievements.....Damn temples.... Thanks again.
  23. Can someone explain to me how to get to Libi's Pratfall. I assumed it was through the marshes. but haven't found a way over there. Looking at the map it's tough to tell whether to travel through all the crap on the eastern side of Bluestone Lake or take a northern route through Bluesstonbury and the Traveling Circus. Thanks for the help.
