I have never watched it...turned off by most of the 'reality' shows anyways. I rarely watch network now. I don't need to see ignorant un-informed people spewing their misinformed thoughts about life. My nephew is what most people would call 'slow'. He was special ed all thru school and I doubt he will be able to live alone without help. That said, he's a great kid (lol he's 21) and love him just the way he is. Wouldn't change a thing if I could. Well other than finally beating him on Halo 3 I don't understand how CBS thought that this way O.K. or entertaining. Just seems that common decency and respect aren't necessary in today's tv programming. Guess that's why I'm always watching stuff like the Science Channel or National Geographic instead

OMG I didn't hear that.....I am sooooo bummed now... He was such an unbelievable writer.. My condolensces to his friends and family. I hope they do finish series. It would be a shame to let this go unfinished

This series started awhile ago and almost to the last book or so (12-14 books total) For me it is the best sci-fi fantasy since Tolkien and may even be better. Jordan is an amazing writer...the storyline is sooo complex with all the sub-plots and characters but it never gets confusing or boring to read. Another great series is by George Martin called "A Song of Ice and Fire" Anyone else reading these? edit: link for Wheel of Times I've always loved the phrase that starts each book "The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. man that's tough Cyclops I hope you get that meeting with the company president and it gets sorted out. I have never worked in a big company (unless you include the U.S. Navy) so I have never had to deal with office politics. Hope everything works out.

Ha I'm the original spammer lol I used to chat via satellite on a teletype Of course this was back in the early 80's and my 'friends' list happened to be whomever was on duty. I could talk to military bases all over the world. We'd all only use our initials as a sig. We'd have to be careful as this was still military and it was over a secure network. Was real easy to get in trouble. But when you're on a 12 hour shift and there's nothing to do, well got to keep entertained somehow. I ended up meeting a few of the rebel posters and just like now. When you finally see a pic of someone you've been chatting with on the forum, it doesn't come close to what you envisioned. But to the reason I post........hmmmm.... Combination of giving/receiving info and just goofing off I guess lol. Never been a huge poster but been coming out of my shell recently. Had a low post total because my mind is always racing and I end up going off on tangents and never cover what I originally meant to say.

Been trying to upload a vid for a bit now. I get to "Step 3 of 3: Publishing to Stage 6" and then nothing. It says my vid will be published soon, but it's been over 4 hours. Any thoughts on what's wrong?
