Checked the save, and Napoleon is on par with us in terms of military techs, he has longbows, maces, pikes, knights everything. And as far as I know his AI, he’s not building temples. Should I go after him now? Or wait until we can build cossacks? (they are uber powerful) I kinda worry about his UU, he is very close to having gunpowder so maybe we should strike now. Bandwidth is a finite resource for companies so sadly it’s the way things are heading. It’s been going on for some time here. The fight against piracy is the usually quoted reason, but I just dont see ISPs as that noble. Especially when the leading IPS in Hungary openly discriminates – ADSL users have no limitations while cable users used to have around 40 Gb limit (its been raised, but there’s a limit still) So dont tell me they’re fighting piracy with this, cause Im not buying. We had an amusing case a few years back when this ISP cancelled contracts of those using the most bandwidth, citing economical reasons. Not that it had any right to do so because they all had contracts for unlimited bandwidth. But anyway, they seem to provide better service with caps: the cable service is very solid (mostly) while with ADSL you have to expect 2-3 MBit lower speed than what you're paying for. A friend of mine have a supposedly 8Mbit connection, but he has never ever got higher speed then 4 Mbit. And it's fairly common. And there's nothing you can do about it. So here it seems to be either caps or lower speeds

Cancel the wonder, build troops and crush the French Myles, Tim, BlueRookie and shadow lurkers: if you have anything to add, dont hold it back. It’s not a dumb post in any way but they are not cloning to increase the population. Cloning can basically be used for two different purposes, therapeutic or reproductive. And personally I don't find either to be bad, reprehensible or anything per se Therapeutic cloning represents the ideal in organ transplantation, as it would provide an unlimited source of organs to anyone who needs them. The main problem lies within our technical capabilities, as currently we are not able to culture all organs in vitro. With the current need for organs, this may lead to breeding people for the purpose of harvesting their tissues and organs from their bodies, then disposing of them. As seen in the movie. The island iirc, you know the one with the disgusting product placement in every minute Reproductive cloning is a viable alternative for standard in vitro fertilization techniques, as long as it is conducted in a restricted manner. Elective use of cloning should be permitted imho because yes, it may lead to some kind of uber soldiers. But I’m thinking more simple things like choosing the gender of kids.
