  1. So sorry to hear Llama But on the bright side, my TG just died too
  2. That is an awesome intro g0ry! (The cake makes it even better) It's always good to get more vikings around here, so that we can raid and plunder the innocent And ofcourse... You'll be playing online? You have to... and get on the Hardcore EU servers asap ^^, Aaaaand... ontopic again... I hope you enjoy this place as much as I do
  3. Hey, and welcome to the foums spotmarkedx. Hope you'll enjoy this place as much as I do ^^, On a different note...: Icedragon67... Do you play either a Temple Guardian or an Inquisitor? If that's the case, you can't wield a shield nomatter how hard you try.
  4. This is a very tricky area for melee chars, nevertheless... There are some things you can do to make it alot easier. The Trees - These buggers reflect melee, and have a pretty high chance to do so aswell, so you should always carry an armor piece with you. One that has -%Opponent's chance to reflect mele This also goes for the Tree boss, only that his damage is higher and his reflect chance is ALOT higher. Fen Fires - Not very dangerous, but they tend to mob up... Which means they'll all hit you at the same time, which is pretty dangerous at times. These guys are the reason I always have 1 Magic Relic active at all times when I'm there. Since you're melee, you won't have a chance of taking them before they strike either. Blood Dryads - These generally ain't a problem. Tho, you might want to consider using 1 Fire Relic alongside the magic relic. They're usually no issue at all, but some of them have that darned teleport attack. And that hurts pretty much if you don't have any fire resist. (When mobbed... These guys WILL hit you at the same time... All of them) Fire Plants - Reason number two for always having atleast 1 Fire Relic equiped when you're running around on here. These guys have a slow slow attack speed (alittle faster than the Fen Fires tho) but their fireball hurts, especially if you're already mobbed. Can be easily evaded if you're at a distance, but since you're melee. You'll get hit nomatter what. Poison Plants - The weakest and most pityfull creatures in all of ancaria (more pityfull than kobold's imho) Snappers - The Brown ones are almost harmless, with the exception of the Brown Snapper Champ because it has a lightning bolt that seems to have a really high chance to stun you (Plus... It can deal pretty nice damage if you don't have that Magic Relic equiped. When it comes to the blue ones... My advice is: STAY AWAY. They are really really harmless, but they have an insane reflect chance. (Still unsure if this goes for all the Blue Snappers or if it just goes for the Blue Snapper Champ. Nevertheless... It's pretty much like facing the tree boss. but with damage divided by 10 and the reflect chance multiplied by... ALOT. Panthers Plain physical mobs, they got decent damage and low HP. No "Trick" here (I'm sure there's a few monsters I've forgotten, but since I have... It can't be vital ones)
  5. But then again... To make the dryad a party healer... You'd have to skip either the insane willpower or the duration... Which is not really tempting
  6. How can I have missed this? *Shame on me* I hope your day was unbelievably awesome, Brad ^^, Best wishes
  7. If you need any help with powering them up, I have a ton of mentors ^^
  8. I watched it live and goto say, it was awesome! big congrats to you twp yet again ^^,
  9. And Free Play won't save your progress (Tho it does infact save whatever rewards you get from doing the quests) So imho. Freeplay is the way to go if you're really into specific quests
  10. HAHAHAHA I can't stop laughing! 10/10 for your review ^^,
  11. Well... If you were to go about shopping aswell.. You'd have to discard 2 skills... And that'd have to be NW Lore and Combat Discipline. altho I do not advice it. it is doable. But I've always liked to create a seperate shopper, to gain the maximum ammount of power. As for armors... Chestplate of Time is a set item. so are the other armor pieces I listed. (the ones I listed are the best ones for beginners and experienced players alike. as it gives you a sense and feel of what it'd be good to socket and how you gain the most out of your slots and different armor pieces) Set items drop randomly. so there's no telling when you'll be getting what. or at what level. But in the beginning... Use bark and socket damage & regen. While actively changing relics in elemental areas. (atleast more actively than you'll be changing them when you get ahold of the chestplate of time
  12. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I'm soo sorry to hear this viper Take a lil break to vent your anger (But I expect you back within a couple of days ^^) And if there's a need for anything I might have or help with, just shout. Chrona: Reflect!? O.o Does this only go for melee or does it go for ranged and spells aswell?
  13. The penalty is simply the level it starts to yield a diminishing return per rune read into it. That does not mean we're going to stop there ^^, Pump untill your face turns blue, or longer (if you'd like )
  14. Getting items here is like winning the lottery Everything can drop off anything. But the chance to get the best items, are small (This modifier is increased by exploring the world and getting +%chance to find valueables.) But later on, things will still start dropping like crazy, so don't worry ^^,
  15. Ahh. I see! Has he modded Sinister Predator yet? for the %chance that opponent's cannot evade attacks? That is basically alot of our hitchance right there ^^ The skill setup I've done for this build is basically the minimum required for the build to function (imho) which leaves you with skill points that you can choose to distribute whereever you'd like them. After a while, you'll start to find +all skills items/jewelry. This is a very powerfull modifier and should be utilized as much as possible ^^, If you do not have a shopper yet, I highly advice you to aquire one. Or ask someone you know to do the shopping for you
  16. bob: at CA level 161. My SP gives me -72.9% to Capricious regen times. That is an insane ammount and cannot be achieved from only 1 item. Altho, aslong as you get your hands on a Throwing Star with -%opponent's chance to reflect, and still say alittle carefull at the turtles. You should be alright ^^. Storm Shadow: Hmm... Seems awfully strange that he's having problems hitting stuff. And tbh, I got kind of confused with your question. 1. does he, or does he not have the ranged weapon skill? 2. Is he trying to run this build as a melee build? 3. Over to your own question. Each skill gives a certain extra bonus when it reaches level 75 (named Mastery Bonus) and you do not need to get these bonuses right away. and can be achieved at any level after level 75. (all that is needed is 75 hard points into the skill, and to achieve this... You'd need a minimum level of 75.) Mr Schultz: Yw ^^
  17. bob: no Storm Shadow: Doesn't really matter
