It depens on class, but Mortar granade or Cannon Blast when playing whit dwarf, Wall of flames or Hell Sphere when playing Daemon, Celestial light when playing seraphim, Call of Ancestors and thorn bush or Multiple shot whit PA when playing on Wood-elf, allmost any spell when playing on BM.. and tactics is allways the same. Cast and dodge fire/meteors. Hardly ever fight against dragons whit melee fighters. It just takes too much time and it's just too boring to do.. it doesn't need any real tactics.. just stand still and keep beating and dodge fire breath and drink heath potion when on low hp

I don't think it's so rare to leech after death. Spells like rbol, firespiral, celestial light, call of ancestors, blazing disk, hell sphere, firewall etc.. can create that effect. But if you are saying that trick won't work so often.. then I get it. Haven't even heard before that you can get your character back alive before. Well sometimes game can do that bug where you see death animation, but the toon is not dead and stands up few seconds after that, but this is totaly different from that. Personaly I don't like this kind of feature in sacred, but wanted to make a chat about it.

First off, I have to say, I don't want any credit of this trick as I heard it from Svori online and just want to talk about it here as don't know would it be ok by the rules of SIF. So the case is, your toon dies but you still leech life from foes. Change weapon slot and your toon is back up again and you can continue playing. The bad thing is, you are dead.. so next time you join game, you are ghost. And even when you resurrect you cannot move any items on your inventory or in your weapon slots, or sell them on merchants. Only thing you can still save is stuff in your stash and your money (just like even if you die normaly you can start trade and give away gold)... which is kinda good thing when you got tons of good stuff on there. This happened to my daemon so I can say it works for 100% sure (or atleast it did work for me). Funny thing was that when I got back in to the game (there was some network connection problem), my daemon was still alive whit all that stuff.. so basicly server crashed before she died. But as I like to play fair, I met svori later on some private game and gave away all the stuff and deleted that toon as to me, she is still dead. Also heard if hc character dies twice, it turns into SC character automaticly.. didn't check if it's so. So my big question is, would you use this trick to save your stuff in your stash? is it cheating or is it just gift from ancarian gods? I believe I could use this trick only to save stuff to other players.. for stuff not to be used by me anymore, as what is lost, is lost.

Looks like xbox360 version of the game.. just thinkin because there is four different color buttons on those combat arts. I think I have seen some pictures of the pc version where combat arts are in same place and in similar way than in sacred.

Heh, those are funny to see. I have seen skeleton skull and some other random items (like crossbow) on combo masters exchange screen

That was not hard to see to happen. Blu-ray got support from several big movie companys and electric companys like sony and others. Hd-dvd was the choice for "adult entertainment" and microsoft... or this is how few years old finn pc magasine said.

Just installed sacred back (it took longer than I remembered) but couldn't get my old advanced config to work anymore for some reason, so anyone remember where to get it. Tried to google it, but didn't found any results. Only thing I found was some different account swapper and it was in german, so that won't do as don't understand how it works.

huh.. that sounds bad, only a minute? even my system can run 10+ hours whitout any errors and I'm currently having so big problems that can't really play any games because really bad slow downs. But still, I haven't had any ctd's as long as I remember (well ones in allmost full kami server), so maybe you just found part of the reason why some players get lot of ctd's and some non.

In 2012 will be just like today. People are still doing same stuff, but hybrid cars are more popular and new music trends are ruling charts. For real, it's only a 4 years away.. can you say what HUGE difference has happened between years 2004-2008? I can't remember anything special.. End of world comes somewhere around 2020, as it will start a new ice age in europe, so I'll be moving into kangaroos bag by that time

Would you really buy it on xbox if you have pc that can run it? Playing sacred whitout keyboard and mouse would be really pain.

PS3 for sure. If I would have the money, I would buy one right now. Here are the reasons: + Blu-ray player for free. Sure you can buy hd-dvd player to x-box360, but then it will loose it's only real plus side and that is the price. Whit hd-dvd player, it will cost around the same and if you look how blu-ray vs. hd-dvd battle is going on, you'll see that blu-ray is winning + Gran turismo is released only on playstation. If this would be the only plus side to PS3, I would buy it anyways as there isn't any driving game better than gran turismo series has been. Gran turismo 3 and 4 were the reason why I did buy PS2 some time ago. + Tekken is released only on playestation. Best fighting series ever. Don't like any other fighting games. + Singstar. If you like karaoke, you love it (like my gf does) + Buzz. Best party game ever. + Overall image. Sony makes great tv's and other electronics, but what does microsoft do.. yup, Vista and other bad stuff.

She can be even stronger than gladiator if build right and if you find the right stuff. It's really easy to raise attack speed to 220 so only difference in attack speeds are related to weapon type and their animation times. So starting attack speed is not important in long run. It's hard to say which character type would have the best equipment as it allways depens on your playstyle and build.

I'll put this in really simple way. Xbox360 or PS3 owners are like PC users. They like to play lot of good games whit good graphics and still be able to use it in many other ways like a computer whit better OS that doesn't crash or jam. People who buy Wii are more like Mac users. Or it would be perfect duo to buy both. Mac is no good when it comes to gaming and it doesn't have anything to be upgraded. Wii is just simple gaming platform whit no way to make it usefull at any other way. So the user don't have anything he/she can ruin. But also there isn't any way to turn these machine into something really usefull. Mac never will be a gaming unit and wii never will be dvd-player or mp3-player. I paid $1000 for Blizzak snow tires a while ago. What a difference! On Ice, I have waaaaay more traction. These kind of tires can't be used for 0C (32F) conditions...it has to be *brrrr* colder for them to not just wear away. On ice, I have control. I only have to worry about the other drivers ability to stop (and not rear-end me) when they think THEY can stop as easily as me. something like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJ_abQ9rPHs it's funny to see when people are trying to go somewhere on snow whitout proper tires and no skill of driving on snow/ice. (like the first guy proves on the video..)

So many deaths, so many good stories. Still, I miss my first Widd tank glad I was building on. He got up to gold and was really starting to do some insane damage numbers. But, it took only one Attack on wrong time from those horrible creatures in hell's ridge to put my lovely "wounded and in pain" to his last resting place. Still got his spirit on Local network, but it's just not the same.

I just hope they'll do it right. Old school shoot-em-up like old duke nukem 3d was. But I'm sure some meganerds and critics are going to ruin it as "we have allready seen this so many times... blaa blaa blaa" and it will end up as bad as doom3, which is just rubbish. So they'll put slow-mo's and special tricks and all the other not needed stuff into it. Also they will create graphics that can't be run good on normal gaming computer. After they have done all the cool graphics and sounds and more new stuff that any shoot-em-up player ever wants or needs, the game will come out and be just bad and boring..

Haven't seen snow in two weeks or so, so it's going to be snow free x-mas for sure.. but who will save the polar bears that are running around in our streets? (it's only a legend) This same thing happened last year and snow came back somewhere between jan and feb whit some real cold weather.. (-20 to -30C)

I wish another job for next year as current place is partially laying off. Going to be working only every other week and that means, not enought money for new computer or other fun stuff.. so dear santa, give me a another job for those weeks I don't have work.. but nothing whit under 10€ per hour as taxes takes huge part of it anyways. (must ask if it's right when taxes are taking 42% of every salary and employer around 8%... good thing it's back to 25% next year, but still :/)

It doesn't do anything, sorry. Even how much I run around it won't hurt any type of creatures. How could it, if you can't even see it when graphics are on low.

Don't know how old games has to be, but here is some list... Heroes of might and magic (yes, the first one) and second part whit expansion. Second one is not that old, but I remember playing it my old 486 100mhz pc that could just and just run it. Minebomber (don't know if this is very known game, but really good one.. I remember spending lot of time playing it on school) Tapankaikki (all four of them), small shoot-em-up game.. really fun. Name translated means kill all not bad name for a shoot-em-up game. All first C&C games Duke nukem 3d, "born to be wild" Worms, I got this on playstation still and it's really great game.. First GTA, really great.

You are right Silearth, I wrote that on sacred wiki some time ago. It's not useless at all.. it's really really good bonus.
