It sounds like you have the problem figured out. I am not familiar with either of those firewall software, but I imagine they all work similar. In the configuration of the firewall it needs a rule allowing both the sacred2.exe client and S2G.exe ( sp?) server program access to the internet. Or at least set to prompt you when a program requests access to the internet so that you can allow or block as you wish.

Rare Blowpipes are exactly that: Rare. It is possible to find them at merchants with a very high level bargaining. (tier 11-12) But as Scott said, it takes a lot of time. You may do almost as well to just keep grinding and hope for a good drop. As for a unique blowpipe, I think there is only 1 and it didn't come along until 2.65.1 Ice and Blood. And the CM gods blessed us with a legendary in the CM Patch. The trade off for not have uber powerful damage and stats on pipes is the incredible attack speed and the instant hit projectile. Even with low damage and stats, blowpipes rule on a dryad IMO. Cheers

And remember a large part of this builds damage and defense is LL%. Either from a full set of Celestial or from LL% weapons. I struggled with bosses until I completed the set, and then found some Kaldur's and WOW! She became crazy with a boss.

Nice Catch! I would prefer Blind. Distract slows attack speed, however Blind improves your chance to hit. At higher levels (Niob) against bosses. The extra chance to hit will really come in handy I think. Honestly I think you could pick which ever you prefer. the wiki has a discription of the differences here. Cleansing Brilliance

Good Stuff DB! I will take a look at my Balance.txt as see if I "know" for sure of any other affects. I can say I have confirmed your findings to be the same as my own. This is definitely where you change the XP per kill in game.

I would rebuild, especially if you plan to take the build past level 100. re-running 32 levels stinks, but getting bogged down and leveling too slowly past 100 stinks worse. BTW the experience bug also affected the deity statues. they are supposed to give a 100% XP boost for a short period, but only if there are no experience boosters active, (gear or poiton or CA mod.) So if you socket a 10% XP ring, the statues don't work at all.

I will be honest, I had access to Niob shoppers and Blacksmith.(Which helps a ton at low level) At low level this character needs to tread lightly. Another thing that may be happening, is what happened when I ported over from console to Ice&Blood, what we had come to expect our characters to do in console was now completely different on PC. What I mean was, I was used to being able to bash bosses at low level on console and suddenly getting blasted to hell on PC. It took a while to get my playstyle adjusted. This character will require some micromanaging at low level until you get her armor and shield up. You probably should work on farming some good gear for a while. I have her at level 134 in Niobium right now and loving every minute, But she is not the tank that my Gran Canon (with Contitution and Toughness) is my a long shot. At least not yet. I will post la Chusa into the downloads section soon. you will be able to get an idea what she is like fully leveled. cheers

I use FF at work. But at home its Chrome only. Fast and clean with very few buttons.

I can't say as I have ever seen this either. Never in closed net. and as far as CM I wouldn't be suprised if there is a bucket list that accidentally got tweaked. although I imagine the CM crew will get that sorted out. as for special offer. as far as I have seen it was never implemented. I believe I read that from Llama or Dobster.

You can do it anytime. Just teleport to any town with a ship icon and portal to one of the expansion areas. You can even go to a Freeplay game in Multiplayer LAN at anytime. If he's playing SP, then wouldn't using that charcter in MP freeplay not save his quest progress? Correct. You say that like it's a bad thing.. In freeplay, He gets map reveal and portals, XP and levels, items and gold, and fun.... and when he returns to SP he can do it again if he likes. or wait and run it again in Gold.

Welcome! We are still playing. This is a very active community, lots of good folks here. As you found out, the expansion was released for Europe only. However we do have a link to purchase here. Many of us are still on closed net servers. The detail is great indeed! Scott the console version had a balance of detail and at the same time was gear towards playability and FPS stability. The PC version has far more detail in my opinion. (If you have the Horsepower to render it) Grass as an example. on console you can see it. even notice individual blades of grass. But on PC you can see detailed textures on each blade. its quite amazing if you take the time to explore( time away from grinding of course. ) . Glad to see your having a good time Belgarathmth. have you played with the custom camera setting in the optionCustom.txt yet? Check out Schot's guide in the guides section/ it opens an entirely new world of customization to your game play. From custom zoom in 3rd person views to 30,000 ft big work views. Awesome.

It doesn't matter. As a matter of fact, I quite often will run the first part of the Blood Forest (the first 4 quest marks, in Freeplay) several times at low level. it can be a very nice source of Set armor and unique weapons. Beware, however, once you leave the green field for the Blood woods it can get a little tough with the daemonic eyes and such. So tread littly until you are comfortable with your characters defense.

I finally saw one drop from the Undead Prince in the Swamp. Not for me , but my 5 year old son on LAN with a modded drop list in balance.txt PS he was playing a TG and the drop was arms for an Inquisitor

It helps, for sure. I believe Furian and I were looking for a solution against those awful leeching Daemonic Eyes in Blood Forest and the Fens on the north end of Dryad Island. And since we only play Hard Core it was just enough anxiety to need to come up with a solution. Furian's solution was a combo of 4 things. Willpower from Grim Resilience Buff, Reflect from Reflective Emanation Buff, Spell Resistance Mastery, and using buff suits to really ramp up the 2 buff's bonuses without too much regen penalty. In the end his shadow warrior is pretty indestructible against those nasty spell casters. But if you don't mind smacking the space bar or staying out of those areas, then you could do without 1 or 2 of the above safety measures
