  1. Hey all! Been quiet some but I'm still alive and picking up the expansion soon,so I'll see you online again ASAP. A lot has gone on in real life, our boy is now in the terrible twos and my wife has cancer (not terminal) and our time has been taken with real life. It's nice to be around again and interested in Sacred 2. Hope to see you on closed HC soon! Temper
  2. Hi guys! Been some time. @Etherian Don't stress too much about support chracters.I just recently restarted this build in single player ,and the best thing I find is to run a duel wield shopper build along side of this one. That being said,I still only find the shopper usefull for jewelry(because bosses drop all the equipment you need). The slowest levels for this particular build for me is to about level 15.Currently level 100 in single player and still havn't used Niob black smithing(regens are all under 1.2 seconds)in fact I have this build in HC closed net at 97 and she hasnt needed niob support yet either. At early levels farming the Griffin in bronze nets you all the set pieces you'll need for a long time. Then fight normal mobs and champs in silver at the orcs usually nets some armor upgrades and much needed unique weapons/shields.When you have those and and even better damage then farm the griffin in silver. My point is......Yes support/items makes a big difference, but this build is still just so solid even without the best of the best gear to work with. I have made three such builds now and all have managed just fine so far with just a level 60 duel wield seraphim shopper, would it be easier with a niob smith...hell yes...is it mandatory to have one ...hell no. Just such a fun build that Ive never played another class since or for that matter another build except for the seraphim shopper. Temper
  3. Hi guys ! I've stopped palyng Sacred 2 altogether while waiting for the xpansion to come out in Australia.Been playing this game exclusively for a few days.Dragon Age is probably one of the most fun games I've played in a long time (love all the cutscenes). My favorite party member so far is DOG (he is so cute). Anywho I'm off to play some more! Temper
  4. Hi everyone! Wow if they had made Dragon Age multiplayer I guess we would all be chatting in game. I too started with an duel wield human warrior and it was real fun (absolutely fell in love with DOG).Playing thru the mage origin this time in nightmare. About mages : Mages are actually THE most powerfull class in game after you get a few choice spells together.Mages have crowd control, direct damage, can wear heavy armor and are the only class in game that can heal.Put three mages and a rogue for lockpick in your party and things can be a bit too easy (depending on the difficulty your in). @Barristan : Not that I'm aware of but I havn't been looking around much because I've been playing so much Temper
  5. Hi Sharrakor ! Better late then never to say hello ! Real life and Dragon Age Origins been sucking up my time. Anyways mate kick back get a cold one and enjoy your time with all these great people. Temper
  6. Congratulations to you and your family! Glad to hear all is well. And I absolutely love the first picture! That's a very serious look......maybe he knows he has a lot of work to do to get the top of ladder rankings? Temper
  7. Hey guys! As it turns out,NWN is still a great old game to play single player, however multiplayer feels a bit slow due to it being so story heavey compared to a ARPG.Like to thank you all for your input. Temper
  8. I trust DLC from the right sources, its just that I'm notorious for reformatting without saving things I should have kept.....such as DLC...oops
  9. Yeah Gogo Australia gets the EU version but it takes a looong time for Australia to get anything. And I dont use downloaded content ever. Anyhow have fun Temper
  10. Hello Hyperius! About online hardcore. Are you on EU servers or US servers? Some times of day are busier than others depending on your time zone and the server you are on.Generally tho,yes things are quiet at the moment with the addon just out but not widely distributed unless you dont mind downloded content. Then there is the fact that some people with the addon are deciding to switch to softcore until all the new bugs/features are well known and avoidable or fixed.Given time hardcore will improve again I think. About smithing: Really it's up to you what class to pick as you are the one going to play it,so you may as well play around with the TG and Inquisitor to see if you like them first. What I found worked for me is to play them all, then pick which was most fun and only play that class. Then make a seperate shopper, smither and magic item finder(normal play). What this ensures is most everything you find/shop will be for that class, just so out of luck for blacksmith if your favorite class cant pick that skill like me (Seraphim). That being said there is nothing stopping you from having a different class as a smither except he would have to get a lot of his armor himself. I wasn't very helpfull I know, sorry.Just hang in there for multiplayer mate,I'm sure it will get lots of people back when the addon is old news. Argh sigh....beaten by master Gogo again Temper
  11. Hi guys! I'm no high end expert, but maybe another socket and percent life leeche would be nice? Apart from that Im still drooling! Temper
  12. My wife just came in and asked what the hell I was ROFLMAO about,so I showed her THE pix.I think she just went to throw up! Once agaian GG game guys! Temper PS: This is gonna haunt me for a long time.

  14. Good luck and have fun guys! Ill see you all when/if Australia gets the addon. Temper
  15. Hi Gogo! Well the graphics are dated, but the gameplay remains solid. And with the community expansion packs still being made, there is always new content. Hmmm Warcraft...that would have been Frozen Throne?Yeah I got my moneys worth out of that one too.I kick myself now,for always checking out Sacred in game stores and not buying it.I missed a great game/community.Oh well coulda,shoulda,woulda...... Temper
  16. Hi Barristan! Yeah mate I mean the original saga/campaign.I have NWN 2 installed as well but the multiplayer just isnt happening compared to NWN1.I just logged on to NWN1 and there seems to be a lot of people playing still.Even some of the persistent worlds I used to play on are still there with a good number of people.I will check for NWN 2 updates for my install and see how multiplayer is going for it though. The thing about NWN 2 for multiplayer is the Campaign isn't multiplayer friendly. And there is a lack of good persistent worlds.Maybe thats changed now,so I will update and have a look mate. Temper
  17. Reinstalling to 1.69 with CEP 2.2,Gonna have a crack online at an oldie but a goodie.Any thoughts on playing this game again ?

  19. Online in one and a half hours from now.Dinner and boys playtime.
  20. This burger is so wrong in all ways possible......yet I'm so.....drawn to it.Maybe a cure for hangovers?
  21. Hi Schot! Yeah mate I should of said something,I just didnt think you two would level up THAT fast while I slept lol.But the side effect of this is it's got me off my backside and more involved with posting (always just been the lurker). It's mighty quiet in EU hardcore classic these days and the only people left playing are all preparing for the addon.
  22. Yep I too have been a happy camper since using the alt key and manual pick up.
  23. There may be something in this Grillgrim! I had never doubted the auto pick up so never checked the ground. The last week or so I have been manually looting because all I want is uniques, sets, rares and mentor pots. What I have noticed is all of a sudden Im finding more Tinwora's, Revelation set and Glacial defenders (all things this seraphim wears).Previously my duel wield officer's sabre seraphim would be finding them for her,and the Tinwora user finding the sabres. Also The Tinwora user is now finding more upgrades for the revelation set she uses. From what you posted, this may be why Ive had trouble getting the right gear for the character Im playing, while Im playing her!Remember I NEVER thought to check the ground after auto pickup and always had trouble finding the items I needed. Having said that,I may on the other hand be going a bit nutty from too much Sacred 2 and just had lucky drops.
