Woody 24
After my post of ideas from french community on the CM-patch official thread, I've wanted to add this, but it's better to ask to everyone what they think about this point : How we can call these items "legendaries" ? Enrico's eternal search - http://sacredwiki.org/index.php5/Sacred_2:..._Eternal_Search Lang's farewell - http://sacredwiki.org/index.php5/Sacred_2:Lang%27s_Farewell Loki's Slicer - http://sacredwiki.org/index.php5/Sacred_2:Loki%27s_Slicer Moraya's Firesword - http://sacredwiki.org/index.php5/Sacred_2:...%27s_Fire_Sword Silala's Ring - http://sacredwiki.org/index.php5/Sacred_2:Silala%27s_Ring Spirit of Time - http://sacredwiki.org/index.php5/Sacred_2:Spirit_of_Time The Second Ring - http://sacredwiki.org/index.php5/Sacred_2:The_Second_Ring We can get better with bargaining. Killing 800 bosses to get one of them, is really disappointing... and discouraging. I know, we can't delete items. What do you think about turning them into uniques, like for Kal'dur's Legacy and Braggis' Law after Ice and Blood ? Edited May 28, 2010 by Woody Link to comment
czevak 57
Nice... Will be interesting to see how this one turns out. Link to comment
Dragon Brother 619
I think that for the games sake, "if it isnt broken, dont fix it." I know that legendary implies awesome uber item, however not every special item is always going to useful, just like not every legendary item is going to be useful. If they do this then what about useless set items? Delete them? Lower them to normal item status? I think that its far enough that they are changing the set bonuses for sets that have no issues dropping or working and you also suggested changing the bonuses on the normal sets? I dont think that the cm patch should be changing those things. It set out to fix quest related bugs and to allow undroppable items to drop, not to completely rebalance the game. Just my feelings on the matter. Link to comment
essjayehm 58
As disappointing as it is to get crappy stuff, that's Sacred. I do agree, Woody, that's a real pain to get one of those as a legendary. Like the one legendary I've seen drop on console, Boneslicer, at the end of Gold camp. Went into Platinum and got a similar-level one from the quest, which was much better. Ditto DB's remarks, more or less. Link to comment
gogoblender 3,072
I agree with the general sentiment so far... yeah the balancing on these items is horrendous...but I'd rather the patching team deliver their volunteer time to the things that tear the game apart, not what I think is weird but that I can still live with. Woody, you are awesome for bringing this up though. It's an intelligent question, fielded well. With limited time due to our humanity, however, it would be cool if some of the game breakers could be made beautiful. gogo Link to comment
Spunky 16
Loki's Slicer & Silalas Ring isn't bad at all IMO. Keep them as legendaries I'll say, no need to remove or change them this late. Link to comment
Dobster 39
The weapons are probably ok as the are, not all of them can be uber even if it is a let down to find one of the not-so-good legendaries. The jewelery needs a base damage or armour value added to make them useful. Slightly off-topic but all the unique and legendary jewelery could do with improving, rings could do with base damage and amulets could do with armour being added to make them better than the ones we can shop for. The jewelery in S1 was way better than Sacred 2, such a shame Sacred:Silasas's Great ring of concentration compared to.... Sacred 2:Silala's Ring Edited May 28, 2010 by Dobster Link to comment

I agree simply as it could lead to unintentional imbalances else-where in the Game thus you step onto the Merry-Go-Round of tweaks being done, to fix those. Link to comment
