Hooyaah 2,827
bacon => recipe For perfect bacon: Preheat oven to 400 F/ 204 C While preheating, place bacon on baking pan covered with foil to speed cleanup time. Place baking pan with thick bacon slices in the oven for 20 minutes. (set timer) Take out bacon and turn over and place back in the oven for another 8-10 minutes, watching to monitor its crispness If it is still not done crispy enough to your liking try just another few minutes, carefully monitoring for perfection. ENJOY! (I doubt that you will ever cook pan-fried bacon again.) 1 Link to comment

Hooyaah 2,827
perfect! => perfectionist Rommel, if the bacon is thinner, you might check on how it's doing at the recommended temperature after fifteen minutes. And, after flipping it, look at its progress in increments of five or less minutes. Remember, your sense of smell will guide you. If you're in the kitchen anyway, just check every few minutes and flip it if necessary. Do you need an omelette recipe? 1 Link to comment

You would have better control turning the bacon with some good tongs that aren't too big and that grasp well. The way to cook sausage varies on the type. If they are breakfast sausage, then they are small, finger-sized rolls which can be cooked like the bacon in the oven. Larger sausages are good to go in the oven in a baking pan of appropriate size and covered/lined with foil at 127 C for about three hours if you like them tender, really juicy and thoroughly-cooked. If you are in a hurry, cook them in the same foiled pan at 177 C for an hour. Link to comment
