Katran 0
Some 14 days ago on a tv phone in quize started this task with a prize around 30 euros. 14 days latter no anwswer for it and the prize now is 2500 euros. Here is the task hope some one can solve it: 3+2*6 a.30 b.11 c.15 d.21 this is what you see on the TV and the question is this: What is the sum of all the numbers? Link to comment
SURFSIDE 0
the exact words are "What is the sum of all the numbers?" ? my first guess would be 25 second gues would be 5992 have either of those been tried yet? (this is assuming the answer is NOT the obvious "C") Link to comment
Crunchie 0
By sum im assuming the answer is 11. Using BEDMAS the answer to the equation is 15. I'll go with B. 11 Link to comment
Yarasa 0
I am with crunchie they are not asking for the mathematical answer they are just asking what is the sum of all three number b.11 Link to comment
Katran 0
No all of them have been trayed and they are not corect tonight I will have the list of answers that have been trayed so far. Link to comment
cyclops 15
Following the operations my answer would be 30. 3 + 2 = 5 X 6 = 30 Link to comment
Scleameth 19
Also get 88 (unless a.30 is viewed as a fraction --> 0.30 in which case the answer is 11.77) Link to comment
Katran 0
No not again! P.S.:gintukas 88 was my answer two and they said no I was so piffed Link to comment
Scleameth 19
If the letters is viewed as numerical place holders then you'd get : a.30 = 1.30 b.11 = 2.11 c.15 = 3.15 d.21 = 4.21 3+2+6+1.3+2.11+3.15+4.21 = 21.77 ... '2*6' numbers are 2 & 6, right ? 2 to the power of 6 would be represented as 2**6 not true? so that value can't be 64 if so there's another few permutations to be calc'd... Link to comment
Kelyndra 0
25 would be my guess, too. Link to comment
Ankhanu 0
Has anyone tried "infinity"? The wording of the question is quite vague and open ended. "All the numbers" could mean ALL of them, not just those pictured. Otherwise, with the wording of the question, I'd go with Crunchie; 11. I'mnot sure they asked the right question for the answer they're looking for Link to comment
fRACTAL 0
Mwhaaa! I'll answer later when I'm more awake but what does the "*" mean? ~Doom Link to comment
Ankhanu 0
* is generally used for multiplication in computer systems. Link to comment

Katran 0
I will tray if I can get on the line 72 but can you guys say what you did to get to the number that you offer if it is not to much to ask I realy like to see the calculation Link to comment
Arianna 1
My guess is 118... don't ask why, I am a Lit student Link to comment
Club 0
My first guess was 88 until I noticed the decimal points which would make it 11.77. It doesn't specify whole numbers and doesn't ask us to solve any other mathematical problems. Scleameth was pretty close but we are not asked to convert letters into a numerical value.
