Questions about Modding Sacred Underworld (skins)

Hello, 

I was very glad to find a red-haired, no mask skin for the Seraphim here. 

I would like to know if there is a way to make the ponytails disappear, like an alpha or something ? (I would like to remove them from said Seraphim skin with red hair and no mask).

I also would like to know if there is a way to have some parts of armor invisible, like wings ?

Also, is it possible to trade voice of the characters, like having the elf with the seraphim voice or so ?

Sorry for all the questions, my husband and I have been playing Sacred from some time now, but I would like to be able to make the Seraph look like a tabletop rp character of mine.

You might look for SevPoots who is making Character skins for Seraphim especially. Just ask, he seems to be a nice

Letting the Seraphims wings disappear is, afaik, only possible as workaround. Get the PaK-Extractor, find the
texture, delete it and save the blank file in Sacreds PAK-folder. Et voilá! The wings are gone, but the shadow
remains intact. LinK:

To swap sound files you will need Sacred NL, which creates a full sound list. Maybe the maker sends it to you without
the entire mod. Link:

After you got your hands on it, simply rename the soundfiles and put them into Sacreds PAK folder.
A full character soundset is quite large and most likely, everything is named in german. Also, it is possible, that the
soundfiles arenŽt named in a reasonable way. It could be a lot of work to get everything in a good order. Just saying.

After that you will need the russian PAK-Extractor to unzip the sound.pak. Hint: Hit Tab to make it work. Link:

As for the site, as you can see, the most action takes place in the Sacred 2 forums, Sacred Underworld guys have moved
on mostly to various discord servers. You also find large chunks of the Sacred Underworld community on Youtube where the
guys run various channels.

Thanks you for having found your way over to us Marie! There are some modders here who have done exceptional work, probably exhausted after these long holiday hours  Delightful hearing that you and your husband have gotten so much satisfaction from this game.  Ancaria and all its characters are a gem... one of the best value for games anyone can pick up among the millions of options out there.   Dax, thanks for all that info you helped here with! I'll also notification some of the Modders here who have created substantial work for Sacred Undeworld and maybe they will have some ideas for you as well

Hey @Melandrhild, I've attached the edited alpha channel for the Seraphim hair texture (SERA_HAIR file) to remove the ponytails. Download.

Paste it into the alpha channel of your modded texture or, if you're unsure how to do it, send me the modded red hair texture and I'll do it for you.

@gogoblender Im not a modder 😅,just a hard core player ,who use from time to time ,skins or some kind of mod for sacred :D,but im not a modder ,not even close
