  1. Hey there guys, was talking to Etherian about energy shields last night and about the best ways to improve them. He brought up the topic of using Willpower to improve the shield's energy. I replied that I had found my Temple Guardian's T-Energy Shroud's energy to increase one point for every point I put into Willpower. The TG is only at level 31, so it was then suggested that maybe a threshold must be reached to start having the added points to Willpower have any noticeable affect on the shield's energy. I was curious as to whether this information was accurate because I have heard from Loco, Spunky, and Woody that Willpower definitely boosts the shield, but I have seen very minimal effect so far. Thanks to all who reply
  2. We got our guild reserved with the [D.a.r.k], now we just need to make the tag from the end game maps!
  3. Hey all, I was thinking about buying Sacred Gold (it's only $10) but I wanted to get some opinions from people who played both S1 and Sacred 2 Do you think I'd still enjoy the experience after sinking 2000+ hours into Sacred 2:FA? I know the game is where the roots of Fallen Angel come from, but if it's a reverse experience I'd prefer not to sour it. So does anyone have a recommendation? Try to remember I have not seen ANYTHING with the game save a few screenshots and trailer clips here and there

    Sacred 3 Character Classes

Seraphim The Seraphim have always been the guardian angels of Ancaria. After centuries in silent retreat, they awaken again, with Claire leading the charge for her sisters against the evil Emperor Zane. Wielding her sword and divine powers with grace, she’s more than happy to leave the Sanctuary and take the fight to the enemy. Safiri Inhabiting most of the islands in the Southern Sea, the Safiri are accomplished sailors and merchants. But pirates love to prey on the weak, which is where Marak comes in. As a member of the Order of the Sun, he hunts corsairs and burns their ships to smithereens using his sun powers. But now the time has come to test his fire and mettle against a whole other kind of foe. Ancarian The great Ancarian kingdom was a sight to behold and a force to be reckoned with. Now all that is remains is the dissipating dust of memories, and the tales Alithea heard of her royal heritage around the campfires of the scattered Resistance. A blacksmith and a master spearwoman, she puts her skills and powers of earth and nature up against the Ashen Empire, ready to reclaim the peace that was taken from her people. Khukuri The Khukuri hail from the cold snowy peaks of the North. Storytelling plays a big part in their rich culture, and Vajra is quite the weaver of tales, having performed feats with a bow few men have achieved or even seen. He lends his archery skills and mastery of ice to the Resistance, eager for his next great story. Malakim No one really knows where the Malakhim come from or when they first appeared. Rumors of dark assassins grew as Ashen troops were decimated in remote areas of Ancaria. Then Kython appeared, bringing to the Resistance his skill with blood magic and vicious dual-wielded curved blades. Among the Resistance, there often pops a debate as to what's worse: the cut of Kython's weapons or the sting of his tongue.
  5. Kinda bored so made this. If you've got any reasoning for choosing, please state your reason. Who knows, maybe someone will be inspired to start a toon they've never played before

    The RWBY thread...

The aura. It's all in the aura
  7. We've had Xbox gamertags and PSN network IDs on the forum for awhile. They show up along the side of an individual's post and helps players on these respective platforms find and play with each other. However, many of us are PC gamers as well. I know many people have an aversion to Steam but many games (especially indie) use it for easy distribution. I'd like to see a Steam Name category on our profiles here, so that's it's easier to locate and friend players from our community! Alternately, we can make a Darkmatters Steam group and just direct people there. Perhaps others share this idea? Discuss
  8. Wahoo, the admins are lightning quick as always! Hit Brad with a cattle prod a few times eh?

    Grim Dawn - PC

Agreed, no real issues outside of certain side quests not sharing and key items not spawning twice in some instances. Pretty smooth and was fun to see another player on the screen killing mobs with you

    Grim Dawn - PC

Hmm I saw you in it, but when I tried to join it crashed and then disappeared from the server list Edit: Saw your update, all's good

    Grim Dawn - PC

Multiplayer just went live! It's been awhile since I've played, but does anyone want to level?

    What happened to F.A.T.E.?

I know the majority of the guild is German so +6 hours from us here on the East Coast. Assuming you work a 9-5 or so job, most of them would be going to sleep around this time

FDM getting it's own town in UnBended?

We do currently have the Dark Pirate theme rocking here on the forum the last couple years

    Greetings, fellow Sacred 2 players!

    Welcome aboard the Darkmatters train
  16. Thanks for letting us know about this gogo! Love IRC for chatting, and makes it fun for the small Unbended community we have going now
  17. Take a boat to another island perhaps? I am also a tad confused by the island representation when "seas" have been mentioned multiple times (even with a serpent on the map!). Unless there is some sort of magic essence that makes up the "seas"? Guess we'll wait a bit longer to find out
  18. Wahoo! Thanks for this, I've been excited to finally get the whole picture. Gives me more of an idea where to place an NPC
  19. Is that a rhetorical question? I smell content on the horizon

$15 a month, which I've slowly come to accept as the 'norm' for the subscription based model. In the past I always thought buy to play (such as GW2) was the way to go, but if the developers can come out with quality content patches every 1-2 months then by all means take my money! I tend to binge play a lot of indie games, so if paying the $15 a month keeps me interested in the subscription game I've effectively saved money by not buying other games

Ironically luj, my guild and myself quit Wildstar this month to go back to WoW. After putting up with a lot of the issues the game has for the last 3 months, we finally decided to call it quits. Bad itemization, game breaking bugs, and the whole attunement debate are pretty much what pushed us out the door. Which is really unfortunate, because I thoroughly enjoyed the combat system and the promise of hard/challenging endgame. But for me tedious does not equal hard. If they fix some of the major issues with endgame I'd be more than happy to resub, but until then I'll go back to WoW to prepare for Warlords of Draenor

UnBended - Art of Rudolf Eizenhöfer

I hated the bats in Sacred 2 even more than the rats. They were always buggy for me with ranged weapons. I'm not sure I've EVER managed to land a shot with the Temple Guardians arm cannon

    Good afternoon, friends :)

Is Sacred 2 bigger than World of Warcraft?

I'd like to say we're more like mad scientists
