What Chrona was saying was to put only a few points into dual wielding if you use summons since you have other skills that are more important than Dual Wield (dont ask me what cos I havent played a summoner although id assume regen/summon based skills). Any extra points you need for your skills can be added through equipping rings with +all skills and socketing them in your armour which will boost all of your skills equally. Picking a different alignment doesnt effect how you play, it just effects the campaign quest and some other side quests in games. However, if you want to play online you can only join campaigns of your alignment and you can only party with another player of your alignment...so evil cannot party with good in a free play game but they can still play in the same game

I think it has something to do with the way the game creates/runs the different games...even though you may play single player it actually creates a server for you locally which allows someone to drop in if you need help. This is done by the game client and I guess if that hangs up then you crash. At least thats my theory

I installed it but couldnt be bothered installing everything again onto it so I so far am still just booting plain old Vista. It does look/feel nice though...I would use it if I knew it wasnt going to expire and if I could be bothered reinstalling everything.

How bout if in the wiki page you have the page from the book and just hyperlink each individual achievement icon? Or isnt that feasible in wiki's or at all?

I havent had any experience with any problems with this patch, however I dont think you're patched to the latest version...2.40 which patches out the christmas island quests as that holiday period is over. So you may want to do that, although you will probably have to restart the campaign with your current character. In any case, welcome to the forums

Wasn't that song from Gary Jules, instead of REM? I listen first from R.E.M and loved it. Didn't research if it is a older song or such. Good to know. I dont know if R.E.M. ever did madworld, I think that may just be a common misconception although I may be wrong. However it was first sung by Tears for Fears and was recently(ish) covered by Gary Jules and Micahael Andrews on piano which is the version that sends chills down my spine

Well, it was worth a try. I no there are a few people who have done it cos its been mentioned in this very thread. Maybe if you look back through here and pm the people that managed to do it and ask how they did it.

Thats right. Although sometimes someone will create a server named [D.a.r.k], usually u would just look to see who is ingame if u wanna play with someone in particular, all us Clan Dark members have the [D.a.r.k] tag in their character name

Well if you bought the game of the shelf in australia then you are set to the european servers by default. Once youve logged onto the lobby you should be able to see all manner of servers/games you can join. There arent any exclusively aussie servers, but there are english ones, although alot of people online do understand at least some english so u can join the german or italian or whatever ones you want. Also, to play with anyone from this clan you would also have to make your characters hardcore when you create them.

If you downloaded it then I have no idea what version you have, but you can check what servers you are connecting to. When you sign into you're sacred 2 account ingame just below the username and password boxes there should be the name of the server and port number. eg if you are connecting to the Eu servers it would be eu.sacred2.net and port 6800. If not then you are probably connected to the us servers. I know that someone here downloaded the game from somewhere and was able to change his servers so ill look for it for you Edit: Ok...the person who downloaded it had downloaded it from steam but he managed to change the optionsDefault.txt file. If you go to your sacred 2 install folder, then the "scripts" folder there should be a optionsDefault.txt file. If you open this file and change the network part to: network = { lobby_ip = "eu.sacred2.net", lobby_port = 6800 } then you should be able to connect to the eu servers. I recommend that you back up the optionsDefault file first tho incase it doesnt work. In anycase you will have to create a new account for yourself on the servers to be able to play. Hope this helps for ya and let us no if you manage to join us in the servers

Sounds pretty strong to me:) I just lost a HE, but I think my next one will follow this build rather closely and may have a better chance of survival, especially if I follow your "stay away from jungle" comment, something I didnt do last time to my loss

Expanding on what Kat said here most people will pick their main lore, for example fire and choose the skills to go with it, arrant pyromancer lore/focus and then also pick delphic arcania focus and spend 9 points in it so they can fully modify GI and also any bonuses to delphic arcania focus will allow u to have a higher level of GI without any penalties granting a better bonus to spell regen/healing. Also, if you were still unsure about anything for the seraphim then you can read the information detailing her combat arts and the modifications they get as you level up and some usage strategies to go with a few of them at the seraphim part of the Sacred Wiki. Hope that its useful to you. Its got information about every character, their combat arts, skills, attribute, has info about quests, set items, unique items and heaps more, definitely worth a read

If you wanna have a look/search thru the official sacred 2 forums there are a few posts by aussies, mainly about the terrible ping we are subjected to like here. Of course im sure that while you may only have some level 1 chars if you start playing they can get alot higher and hopefully we can catch up online

Well, my HE was level 23 last night...until it kicked the bucket, I probli shouldnt still have been wearing my level 10 gear, but was planning on shopping some more at level 25 or 30...bit too logng of a break I think Anyway, I will recreate it, so I guess low levels then gogo...ie anywhere between 1-25 in the next week or so depending how much I play, so any help would be great. Im glad I kept my trading suit in the shared stash, that will save me some cash when I restart On the other hand tho this does allow me to introduce my first officially [D.a.r.k] character...Hippolyte (anyone know where I got the name from?) a currently level 6 dryad with whom im gonna kick some butt (hopefully) with blowpipes and darting assault:)
