  1. I think they drop at normal unique rate, but if they are selected by the normal drop mechanics via drop.txt, the quality by interference of the unlock code mechanics somehow gets a +1 modifier. I was never able to reproduce this, since it does not happen when you let it drop from a crate by questscript. I guess we have to just live with the orange color.
  2. Well no. We call the thigs "Sigils" and they are a kind of ancient protection magic. More details will come out soon, because I am nearing the stage where I have to give it to the translators and then it will be a public open issue and quite easy to put one and one together to see what they will do...

  4. Hi Torak, please try to run the S2Reset Tool against your installation. (CM Patch Post, Troubleshooting section.) It seems that some editions of the gold version have slightly altered files. (The russian gold version I.e.) If this does not resolve the issue, there is sth. wrong with your Sacred 2 registry entries. A reinstall from your current OS user account should fix that. Greetings czevak.

An additional word of advice (coming from someone who was mad enough to disassemble a TFT and run its parts fastened to a cardbord box with tape and some insulated wires for DIY multitouch experiments): The board you show to us also has the high voltage power supply for your backlights fluorescent tubes on it. If you fit it back together and want to give it a try before replacing all the covers, do not come anywhere near the two rectangular coils to the left (the warning sign is next to them for a reason). I came too close to them while experimenting and the resulting lightning arc burned/melted/evaporated a clean 1mm hole deep into my fingers skin. Now THAT smelled like..you know, what Stormwing said.
  6. drsleo: Sorry, but it is very hard to get the meaning out of your posting. I do not completely understand what the bear has to do with the ancient secrets quest. Just FYI: The CM-Patch download might be inaccessible for a max. of 2 days. The server we are on is maintained and moved to a new infrastructure.
  7. Yes. The game just wants to know if the creature has mastered this particular skill or not. The rest is scaling to its level. Adding new spells and CAs goes per spells entry in the mgr.createCreature sections. Keep in mind that the player character spells are somewhat hardcoded, at least the DMs to my experience. I never tried switching around spells from one toon to the other. Also keep in mind, that a creature not only recieves bonuses and skills directly, but also those from their template_id creature (if they have one set). addCreatureBpRelation ties a creature id to a blueprint id (this is used for the mounts that can be bought at mount vendors). The merchant definitions (mgr.addMapPos) entries do not seem to work in any way (seems to be a leftover from the past). Merchants and the likes of them are now defined via the files in the persector.zip.

  9. Rinah is a problem of the v0120 and gets fixed with the next release. Just show her around a bit. For the textures, there is sth. wrong with your Sacred 2 Installation. Have you gotten any error messages when installing the CM-Patch? I would recommend repairing the Sacred 2 Ice and Blood Installation with our S2reset Tool (Rapidshare). This will also remove the cm patch. After the reset tool has finished, install the cm-patch and then have a look around again for these missing textures. PLease let me know if they persist.
  10. As far as I know, there is no way drop.txt could have caused this error. I think there is some other issue behind this, and not necessarily the CM-patch. As for Rinah: Yes we noticed that problem, and marcus already fixed this for the next release. He will have a look at this "corpses in thylisium" interference problem.

  12. Not sure if they will regain the LL% since you probably saved the game after noticing it was gone. If you got a backup of that save you can try using that with v120 to get them back on a mule maybe. Anyways: Version v120 is up for grabs!   13. I checked the droplists and the blueprint for the arms of this set, everything is as it should be. Keep looking for them.
  14. It will be back with v0120 in a few days, albeit a bit weakened. We had to balance it a bit.
  15. What language is your localization of sacred 2? CM Patch currently supports Hungarian, Polish, English, German, French, Italian, Russian and Spanish. If your game language is in the list above, then sth. is wrong with the registry keys of your Sacred 2 installation, so the patcher cannot determine the language right.
  16. You will also loose any CM patch gear you found when you load the character again with vanilla Ice and Blood, ofc.

  18. Yes we gave Gar' a neat little trick didn't we. He is getting healed by the rocks he throws around. No use letting them just sit there doing nothing for him. Kill the rocks with a single blow (they don't have much HP anyway) and it will put a stop to his healing. The healing effect of the stones is stacking, so the more there are in a given radius, the more he will get healed per sec. Have fun.
  19. Just extract the content of the skin.zip to the pak folder. The game will prefer uncompressed data to compressed one. Presto! You will afaik only lose the new skill mastery indicator frame.
  20. @whiteelder: It would seem you moved your Sacred 2 installation to a different folder than you installed it, or sth. changed the paths in the registry, so the patch can't find it. It could also be tha case that you installes with a different OS user profile? A re-installation of Sacred 2 should resolve your issues. @mr.ioes: We do not have access to the code, all we do is meddle with the scripts and graphics. We do not touch the game binaries.
  21. I would be very interested to see what you find out too, wolfie. Even if it turns out, that only some vendors have the ability to sell set and unique items I could check on them to see what is different there. Could be a nice addition to CM patch, if the polls turn that direction (there might be people who think that uniques and sets should not be sold by merchants).
  22. Man this disaster really sucks. Not only for the people of japan, who have my deepest sympathies with them, but also for the little (and bigger) things attached to this: First many of germanys citizens get really histerical buying GM counters like hell, then they decide to switch off 2 more powerplants than we could afford without importing (nuclear) power from france or other EU countries (how stupid is that?) and now Sony told my supplier that the US white Sharp Shooter I ordered for Killzone 3 and have been waiting on for a month now got cancelled. They stopped production because japan can't deliver the parts they need.
  23. Keep in mind that it also contains sodium, like salt (which is sodium chloride), and is not a salt substitute for those who should reduce their salt consumption because of hypertension. Other than that: As long as you don't gobble yourself sick on the stuff and reach renal failure, you are safe. (Food allergies to MSG like the aforementioned excluded ofc.)
  24. LazyTomcat wrote on our bugtracker, that he had reduced FPS issues playing Sacred 2 with his SLI setup. He reduced strain on the graphics cards by setting Sacred 2 to run on single GPU. Maybe this could help here too. I don't really know why these crashes are happening to you, especially as it seems to be related to the cm patch somehow. We did not alter anything on the game binaries to provoke this kind of behaviour. Does it make a difference if you start Sacred 2 with administrator privileges (right klick on icon -> run as Admin)?

So far I added the mutation sets only in the following two droplists: mgr.createDroplist(1528,{ -- Droplist_ab_set_unique and mgr.createDroplist(1498,{ -- Droplist_all_set I really don't know exactly under what circumstances the game selects an item from those two, but I know droplist 1498 is in the droppattern for quests that have a chance of rewarding set items.
