  1. Hello, I've just came across a tutorial made by a french forumer (Jerius) to let you run Sacred Gold on Windows 10 and in higher resolutions and I thought it might be of interest. Here is the link to the video (it's in french of course but there are links in descriptions) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVjKTZwtLtE To make the steam version works on Windows 10, you only need the seetings.cfg and steam_settings.cfg. Now the part for higher resolutions and configuration of dgvoodoo2 https://youtu.be/BVjKTZwtLtE?t=318 I know it has already been talk before but it seems to work. The other part of the tuto is about AutoHotkey and you can see at the end of the video the game running. Let me know if this has been helpful or if you already knew it. Thanks!

  2. So this was my first build after not having played the game for a long time. The idea for this character was originally to kill everyone and everything without doing anything, just sitting close to the enemy. However this changed later in the game because getting the damage of his main ability to go up is really hard. I DO NOT KNOW HOW THIS CHARACTER WILL DO PAST LEVEL 50 but at level 50 he was really good for what it's worth. The build itself is basically a battle mage, that will deal automatic magic damage to his enemies every second, reflect a big portion of close and ranged physical damage, deal decent physical damage from his weapon and additionally be able to spam spells at enemies that weaken them and make it even easier to kill them. Attributes: All points go to intelligence Spells: The only thing you care about is Astitute Supremacy , no need to even eat runes for any other spell category. There are only 3 spells you really care about: Levin Array, Raving Thrust and Reverse Polarity Buff Here are the upgrades I chose: Levin Array: Disperse, Hesitation and Dynamic Raving Thurst: Lash out, Vehemence and Lesion (Lesion is very important) Reverse Polarity: Sphere, Counterblow, Evade Eat all 200 runes for Reverse Polarity as fast as possible, leave the other spells at level 1 (later in the game your regen times will be way lower than the time it takes to cast so you could go up a few levels if you want) Do whatever you want with the rest of the upgrade points you get. Skills: Astitute Supremacy Lore Bargaining Astitute Supremacy Focus Armor Lore Dual Weild Consitution Ancient Magic Combat Discipline Tactics Lore Last skill can be whatever you want, I was gonna go either Toughness or Enhanced Percipitation You can also change their order however slightly if you want. The astitute supremacy skills are a must , Ancient Magic and Combat Discipline are there just for the reg and spell damage bonuses that will be pretty good once you get a lot of "All Skills +X Equipment". Same thing with toughness. Dual weild is there not only to increase your damage but also to allow you to have more sockets. You want to have half your equipment with damage / attack value enchantments and the other half with All Skill +X enchantments in the mid levels, damage / attack value only in the earlier levels and MAYBE All Skills +X only in the late levels. As for bargaining, although I barely put points into it, I had a seperate set of equipment that I would put on every time I go shopping (every few levels that brought it up to about 80) The only skills you will be putting points into are the astitute supremacy, constitution, armor lore and from time to time Combat Discipline if you want (Combat Discpline seamed to give more damage than Ancient magic) The last important thing is to have at least 3 life leach per hit items. The way you play with this character is you just attack everything head on, cast your Levin Array (and if fighting boss cast a combo of Levin Array and Raving Thrust to lower their health) and you can pretty much approach it however you want, you can either keep spamming your levin array along with the damage coming from your buff, you can and should also land some hits here and there to restore your health from time to time, or you can go just swinging at your weapons at everything and you will still dominate. Don't forget that you get a really good defense value bonus from your buff, at level 50 I also had 45% chance to reflect both close combat and ranged damage which adds another big layer of defense as well as damage.

  7. Hi Ka! (Quick answer to your question is here : DarkMatters and SacredWiki Supporting Member Subscriptions ) heh, you caught us with this so quickly ^^ Supporting Members is the group of members here on site at DarkMatters and SacredWiki that purchase a Supporting Members badge as you've seen some of the members here having in their profiles. Click Here to get a SacredWiki and DarkMatters Supporting Members badge now We are putting together the subscription packages now for our members, and was hoping this would be a fun way for our community to show their support for the sites via the new pay pal buttons. All money collected is going directly to pay for: hosting for two sites two photobucket pro accounts for the wiki and this site url registrations yearly renewal of license for IPB Boards map upload fees IPB Wiki bridge - renewal of software to integrate management of SacredWiki and DarkMatters All just a little less than 500.00 CAD for last years running costs. We're not a big fan of the "donation" model for helping collect money to run websites, and like much better the idea of offering products from the sites that will offer some values for members who enjoy the time they spend on the forum and SacredWiki. You can guy a badge for whatever amount you wish, we're grateful for help that's offered to help with the costs of the sites The badges started being placed last night on members that have already given money via paypal (Knuckles a few weeks ago and Dragon Brother just last night) and ended up with the Supporting Members Badges as surprise bonus We'll have all the information out for the subscription packages out by tomorrow. Thanks for interest, your energy here and hope you like the badges! gogo
